Fibromyalgi karaktäriseras av utbredd, diffus värk i musklerna och ömhet vid beröring och tryck. Sjukdomen kan ha ett negativt inflytande på dagliga livets aktiviteter vilket kan leda till aktivitetsbegränsningar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om kvinnor med diagnosen fibromyalgi upplever aktivitetsbegränsningar i vardagen. Syftet var också att beskriva vilka aktiviteter som begränsas, på vilket sätt de begränsas och vilka copingstrategier och praktiska lösningar som används. Metoden som användes var halvstrukturerade intervjuer som utfördes på fem kvinnor med fibromyalgi.

Undersökningen syftar till att belysa hur en individ i en rehabiliteringsprocess kan gynnas av karriärvägledning. Forskningsfrågorna som ställts har gällt vilket inslag av karriärvägledning som ingår i den aktuella stressrehabiliteringen, vilka behov som av karriärvägledning som finns samt vilken funktion karriärvägledning kan fylla inom en arbetslivsinriktad stressrehabiliteringsverksamhet. För undersökningen valdes en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med forskningsfrågorna som grund. Resultatet av de öppna intervjufrågorna visade att det inte gavs karriärvägledning av någon anställd person inom stressrehabiliteringen, men att det var något som önskades. Inslag av karrärvägledning gavs begränsat av Arbetsförmedlingen och resultaten visade att det fanns behov av karriärvägledning samt att vägledning kan fylla en funktion inom arbetslivsinriktad stressrehabilitering.

Som arbetsterapeut tittar man på delaktighet och aktivitet i vardagen, där kommunikationen är en viktig del för att samspelet mellan människor skall fungera. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilken betydelse kommunikationshjälpmedel har för kommunikationen och delaktigheten i vardagen för personer med funktionsnedsättning som använder kommunikationshjälpmedel för att samtala med andra människor. Fyra undersökningspersoner intervjuades i denna kvalitativa studie. De berättade om sitt kommunikationshjälpmedel och vilken inverkan det har i deras samspel och delaktighet med andra människor. Resultatet visar att dessa kommunikationshjälpmedel har en stor betydelse för dessa personer i vardagen.

More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

Bakgrund och syfte: Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) står för en direkt och målinriktad intervention där hunden stimulerar till en fysisk, social, emotionell och/eller kognitiv funktionsutveckling hos patienten. Det är en dokumenterad och utvärderad process i USA som används av många professioner. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad hunden kan tillföra den sjukgymnastiska rehabiliteringen i Sverige. Metod: En enkät med öppna frågor skickades ut till två sjukgymnaster, en rekreationsterapeut och en omsorgspedagog för att undersöka hur de använder hunden i aktivitet med rehabilitering av patienter. Resultat: Inom AAT brukas hunden främst som en motivations höjande faktor inom geriatrik, barnhabilitering, neurologiska sjukdomar samt vid traumatiska hjärnskador.

The aim of the study was to describe how women and men with diagnosed heart disease experience their health-related quality of life and what differences there is between genders in their quality of life and also describe problems after receiving the diagnosis. The study also aimed to describe rehabilitation of patients with heart disease. The study was a descriptive literature study based on scientific articles. It emerged that both women and men with heart disease experienced lower quality of life compared to normative data. There was a significant difference between women and men both one year and three years after receiving the diagnosis heart disease, which showed that women experienced lower quality of life than men.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av att arbeta i ett team med rehabilitering av vuxna med en förvärvad hjärnskada. Sex arbetsterapeuter verksamma på rehabiliteringskliniker i Västerbotten och i Norrbotten intervjuades. Det insamlade materialet analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resulterade i tre kategorier: ?Strukturens betydelse för en effektiv rehabiliteringsprocess?, ?Samarbete ger rehabiliteringen ett mervärde? och ?Arbetsterapeutens roll med aktivitet i fokus?. Resultatet visade på behovet av ett strukturerat arbetssätt i teamet där en gemensam ledare är betydelsefull för att driva rehabiliteringsprocessen.

Ett av arbetsterapeutens verksamhetsområden är psykiatrin, där klienterna har olika psykiska funktionshinder. Arbetsterapeutens uppgift är att med olika medel få klienterna till att utföra aktiviteter. Syftet med studien var att undersöka arbetsterapeuters arbete med motivation i relation till personer med psykiska funktionshinder och hur detta möjliggör aktivitet. Fyra arbetsterapeuter deltog i studien. Fokusgrupp användes som metod, där interaktion och diskussion undersökningspersonerna emellan beaktas.

Vardagliga aktiviteter för personer med demens är ett viktigt område att beakta. Levnadsberättelsen består av information från personer med demens och deras tidigare intressen, som kan ligga till grund för att förbättra innehållet i vardagen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur personer med demens, arbetsterapeuter och planeringsansvarig personal upplever aktivitet för personer med demens. En kvalitativ ansats valdes med egenkonstruerade intervjufrågor. Vi intervjuade två personer med demens, två planeringsansvariga och två arbetsterapeuter som alla var kvinnor.

Method: We have assumed that studying qualitative research articles according to Evans description of content analysis. Information has been sought in the databases Cinahl, PubMed and Discovery Results: The study results in four themes; Loneliness, trust, Despair and obstacles to health.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the process of overtraining syndrome as a part of development in sports and careers. It is based on theories about overtraining syndrome and athlete career transitions. The intention was to find patterns that illustrate critical factors in the athlete career for overtraining syndrome to occur, but also for preventing overtraining syndrome to emerge and for rehabilitation.The Informant was a 19 years old man who had completed his studies at a Swedish sports-?gymnasium?. Two semi structured interviews were made, the second as a following up interview.

Att dokumentera är för arbetsterapeuter ett professionellt ansvar och en yrkesskyldighet som regleras av såväl lagar och etik, som interna professionella krav. Den arbetsterapeutiska dokumentationen är viktigt för att förklara arbetsterapi, stödja den arbetsterapeutiska behandlingen, kvalitetssäkring, forskning och samverkan. Tidigare studier har visat på bristfällig dokumentation, speciellt inom socialpsykiatrin, samt att dokumentation kan upplevas som problematisk. Syftet med denna studie var att genom en fokusgruppintervju undersöka hur arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom socialpsykiatri upplever dokumentationen, samt vilka faktorer som påverka densamma. Tre arbetsterapeuter deltog i studien.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur personer som har ätstörning upplever behandlingsmetod - skapande aktiviteter som ett sätt att finna inre resurser och känsla av sammanhang. Intervjun med fyra personer som har ätstörning utfördes med hjälp av halvstrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer och egen konstruerad intervjuguide. Resultat har visat att skapande aktiviteter är en behandlingsmetod som kan hjälpa personer med ätstörningar att finna resurser både inom sig själva och inom omgivningen, vilka kan fungera som skyddande faktorer och som ett sätt att bemästra svårigheter. Resurser kan vara till exempel kreativ förmåga, humor, möjlighet att lära sig handskas med problem, känna samhörighet samt kunna hjälpa och ge stöd, vara aktiv och engagerad i meningsfulla aktiviteter och bra struktur i aktiviteter..
