At the end of 2008, Arla concluded agreements with several supermarkets in southern Sweden. The agreement with the supermarkets excluded Ska?nemejerier from the stores. This meant that Ska?nemejerier lost approximately 7% of sales volume.

Most of the saw and pulp industries have stored wood nearby their production, the main reason is to have a continuous wood flow to the production. Wet storage of wood is of great importance to keep the wood quality. Without water sprinkling the risk of drying outand decomposition through biological activity increases significantly and will result in a negative effect on future production and quality. One drawback of wet storage of wood is the leaching of chemical substances into the surrounding recipient. The log yard run-off contains phosphorus, nitrogen, phenols and organic substances. These substances can cause problems for the surrounding environment. The main objective of this project is to gain an understanding of the wet storage used by the Swedish wood industry and estimate the environmental consequences that run-off water will have on the recipient.

Every year, thousands tons of edible food are discarded by the grocery stores. This is food that could have gone to people that?s in need of it. In many countries, so called food banks are established in order to supply welfare organizations with this kind of food. Today there is no equivalent system existing in Sweden.

There are various value-influencing factors that have various effects on the value of a cooperative flat for buyers. What generates value is individual and different from buyer to buyer, but also between buyers and real-estate agents. Consequently, the real-estate agents who perform valuations can make incorrect estimates of a residential value. Therefore, it is important to examine which factors are important for buyers to prevent incorrect valuations. To find out which these factors are and which of them that are the most important for potential buyers, previous research has been done in larger cities in both Sweden and other countries.

A nonsense mutation in the DMRT3 gene has been shown to have a large impact on pattern of locomotion in horses. Horses that can perform several other gaits in addition to the normally occurring gaits, walk, trot and canter, are often hetero (CA)- or homozygous (AA) for this nonsense mutation. Horses that only can perform walk, trot and canter are often homozygous for the wild-type gene (CC). For example the Icelandic Horse is a gaited breed. Five-gaited Icelandic horses can perform both flying pace and tölt, except for the normally occurring gaits, walk, trot and canter, and are often homozygous for this nonsense mutation (AA).

Arbetsmiljöverkets kungörelse om medicinska kontroller i arbetslivet har medfört ett behov hos företagshälsovården att kunna genomföra sådana kontroller t ex bland personer som utsätts för lokala vibrationer från vibrerande handverktyg. För att pröva värdet av vibrametri (bestämning av vibrationströsklar) med en ny typ av utrustning ? en VibroSense Meter® - vid bedömningen av eventuella nervskador hos arbetare adderades metoden till Previas rutinundersökning för vibrationsexponerade. Sju personer undersöktes. Sex av dessa hade arbetat på ett gjuteri mellan 3 månader till 11 år.

Sammanfattning Landskrona kommun och stad växer. Inflyttningstakten har ökat stadigt och befolkningen i kommunen beräknas öka med cirka 3300 invånare till 2015. Det har under en tid byggts många nya enfamiljshus utanför Landskrona stad. I direkt anslutning till Landskrona har det börjat bli en brist på tillgänglig mark för nyexploateringar. När den nya järnvägsstationen anlades, lokaliserades den till den östra stadsgränsen och det är utifrån denna station som nya stadsbyggnads- planer har utgått. Detta kan fungera bra men innebär ett stort avstånd till Landskronas befintliga centrum. Ett område som fortfarande är intressant för nybyggnation är Väster industriområde. Detta är ett stort verksamhetsområde beläget direkt söder om Landskrona centrum. Med en effektivare funktionsindelning och omorganisation bör det vara möjligt att bebygga området med mellan 1000-2000 nya bostäder.

Sponsring har under de senaste decennierna blivit allt vanligare i marknadsföringsstrategin. Trots det ökade kommersiella intresset av sponsring är antalet vetenskapliga forskningsrapporter och vetenskapliga artiklar inom ämnet relativt litet samtidigt som sponsringen är försummad i de flesta marknadsföringsböcker. Sponsringen verkar även ha fastnat i det traditionella transaktionssynsättet, med en fokus på sponsringen som ett verktyg för masskommunikation. Flera författare menar därför att relationsmarknadsföring kan användas till att bredda synen på sponsring, vilket skulle kunna innebära att nya användningsområden för sponsring upptäcks. Syftet med denna uppsats är tvåfaldigt.

Background: Theoretical, it?s been questioned why dividends exists in companies based upon the fact that there is a separation between ownership and control. According to the agency theoretical perception, dividends is used as a manner to unify the interest of this separation, which in turn lower the agency cost, and increase the efficiency of companies.Purpose: The aim of this master thesis is to scrutinize and analyse the association between Swedish firms? owner structure and owner types and their inclination to dividend.Method: We attack the problem with a hypothetical-deductive research method by using the existence of a universal theory, the agency theory. From our theoretical framework we propose a set of hypotheses.

In the beginning of the 1990s the responsibility for the schools shifted from the government to the local authorities. This started an era with a freedom of choice for students where they themselves could choose which school to go to. The new system also opened up the possibility for independent private schools to exist side by side with local authority held schools. The overall aim of this study is to determine the factors that affect the location of these independent schools and the geographical pattern these independent schools create. The study in this paper is based on materials from statistics and interviews.

Introduction: Pregnancy, obesity, aging and certain diseases are examples of conditions thataffect the body, its constitution and composition. Simpler methods to estimate bodycomposition are needed to complement more advanced traditional methods to better identifythe health status without sacrificing accuracy and precision.Objective: To validate the results of body composition from bioelectrical impedancespectroscopy (BIS) against results from the study reference method, dual energy X-rayabsorption (DXA), in overweight and obese lactating women after childbirth.Method: The design of the LEVA-study (Lifestyle for Effective Weight loss during lactation)consisted both intervention and longitudinal follow-up, which gave the opportunity tovalidate the absolute values (accuracy) and the ability to detect changes (precision). Themean difference between methods was tested statistically by paired t-test. Bland-Altman plotsused to examine the degree of agreement between BIS and DXA, but also distribution andany systematic differences. Association between methods was measured by using Pearson´scorrelation coefficient.Results: Between BIS and DXA, absolute measurements of the variables fat-free mass (FFM)and fat mass (FM) showed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.001).

These type of creditors do not come under any sanctions from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as is customary for other creditors, they only need to register.

The horses? natural behaviour is easier to satisfy in a loose-housing system than housed in a traditional box. Law?s and science suggest that we should house horses in loose-housing, which improve the horse possibility to perform natural behaviours, to interact socially with other horses and to have more possibility to movement. It?s more timesaving in a working population aspect and a economic gain in materials. We noticed that it?s different opinions about what people in the horse society thinks about having youngsters housed in a loose-housing system.

Därtill är sjukskrivningstalet högt. Långvarig sjukskrivning kan medföra mänskligt lidande bland annat på grund av att individen kan uppleva känslor av utanförskap samt otrygghet som ett resultat av att denne går miste om den gemenskap som vanligtvis återfinns på arbetsplatsen. Hög sjukfrånvaro genererar samtidigt höga kostnader för den statliga kassan.
