They wish to know if and then how much it?s possible to minimize the wall thickness of the valve with neither plastic nor to big elastic deformations caused by processing.The most critical processes have been identified as rough lathing. The study has shown that the marginal for a wall thickness of two millimeters, to fall short of the yield stress in the most critical process, is good.

The aim of this study is to examine the knowledge and experience of the bad breath among high school students in Kristianstad. A further objective was to measure the amount of VSC (Volatile Sulfur Compounds) among those who perceive themselves to have a bad breath. A questionnaire with 21 closed questions was distributed to 120 high school students from Kristianstad municipality who were between the ages of 17-20. The results of this study revealed that most of the students had good knowledge of halitosis. The majority of all participants thought it was important to smell fresh in the mouth and also experienced most of their breath as very good or good.

This examination work aims to describe how a supply chain around the biggest pellets factory in Sweden will be configured in a logistic perspective. The plant and associated infrastructure are in the building phase and will have production start on the 2 November 2009. The key question that is set in this examination work is to recognize the logistic processes which are essential for an effective flow of materials and information that link the source of supply with the ultimate customer. In order to get the answer, a flowcharting of these supply chain processes is required for understanding the pipeline activities such as input and storage of raw material, the production system and the output of pellets to the customers. The basis for this supply chain map is a model-based representation of these logistic processes and activities that are involved around the pellets factory.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the municipal library of Västervik. There have been four previous libraries and our examination starts in 1859 with the foundation of a parish library. The other forerunners were a working-class movement library and two libraries in the International Orders of Good Templars. Before the merger of the libraries there were discussions in the municipal council, among the working-class movement and in the IOGT.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and examine India's economic reforms which the country introduced on the government's own initiative in the early 1990s after decades of practicing isolationism. The analysis entails a thorough systematic examination of possible factors that determined the decision to implement the reforms. These factors are derived from two models developed by scholars within the field of foreign policy.The research is performed through an examination where the possible factors for the reforms have been examined on a three-level basis; system-, state- and individual level. It is a qualitative case study that seeks to explain not only why the Indian government implemented the reforms but also to evaluate the validity of the models to the extent that they stand in accordance with the case of India.The conclusion presented in this thesis is that one model works better for explaining the case of India. The model lie emphasis on structural changes, a crisis and political entrepreneurs committed to a certain type of reforms as a prerequisite for policy change to take place.

Forskning har visat att self-efficacy, självkänsla, KASAM och locus of control alla har en effekt på graden av upplevd stress. Dock inte alla tillsammans, vilket denna studie avsåg att undersöka samt deras inbördes relationer och vilken variabel som predicerar stress bäst. Högskolestudenter (n = 65) svarade på varsin enkät. Resultatet visade att alla variablerna hade signifikant negativ korrelation med upplevd stress. Ju högre nivå på variablerna desto mindre stressade var studenterna.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera huvudsakligen lärares upplevelse av "den goda examinationen", i bemärkelsen examination som främjar lärande på högskole-/universitetsnivå, i relation till vad studenterna förväntas lära sig, s.k. förväntade studieresultat. Metoden är kvalitativ med abduktiv ansats och resultatinsamlingen bygger på fokusgrupp-intervjuer med studenter, en granskning av kursplaner och intervjuer med lärare. Lärarna menar att de förväntade studieresultaten är viktiga för deras planering och genomförande av kurser och tillhörande examinationer, även om de också påpekar att yttre förhållanden som tid och gruppstorlekar ibland hindrar den ideala examinationen med tanke på studenters lärande. Kursplanernas förväntade studieresultat förefaller dock ganska oviktiga för studenterna.

Bakgrund: De stora redovisningsskandalerna som uppstod i början av 2000-talet fick en stor betydelse för den kommande diskussionen angående vikten av revisorns oberoende. Detta orsakade striktare riktlinjer och förordningar för revisorerna, både i Sverige och ur ett internationellt perspektiv. Eftersom det är vitalt att revisorn står i en oberoende ställning gentemot sina klienter för att skapa legitmitet i revisionen och mot den externa parten, har det diskuterats kring hur revisorn säkerställer oberoendet gentemot klienten och sin omvärld.Syfte: Syftet med denna undersökning är att få en djupare förståelse om hur revisorerna säkerställer sin oberoende ställning gentemot sina klienter. Vi kommer lägga fokus på fyra stora revisionsbyråer i Jönköping, för att undersöka hur revisorn säkerställer sin oberoendeställning gentemot klienten, samt vilken roll analysmodellen har i säkerställningen av revisorns oberoende och hur konsultationer påverkar oberoendet.Metod: Undersökningen baseras på en kvalitativ studie för att få en djupgående förståelse för respondenternas åsikter och synpunkter på den ställda problemformuleringen. Den primära datan till empirin har samlats in genom intervjuer, där respondenterna har varit revisorer som har en stor inblick i revisionsbranschen.

This is a report written for an examination project C-level, on the subject of energy. The examination project is a product of the FVB Sweden AB (district heating bureau). It started with a meeting with Stefan Jonsson FVB Sweden AB, were he explained the content of the project, and from this a presentation of the problem was made. The problem that needed to be solved was how they could control the valves in the system to provide heating to everyone in the system. The valves are often oversized so the pump in the heating plant would have to be enormous to be able to provide enough flow to be sufficient, if everyone in the system had there valves fully opened. I came up with two solutions to the problem, one was a wireless network that could keep track of the valves and the other solution was an extra sensor that was placed on the radiator.

Syftet med denna studie var att jämföra tandläkarstudenters reella resultat på en Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) med deras egenskattade resultat. Dessa resultat jämfördes sedan med avseende på genus. Ett flertal studier finns publicerade där man har beskrivit skillnader i självvärdering mellan kvinnor och män på teoretiska examinationer. Dock saknas kunskap där man granskar dessa skillnader vid examination av kliniska moment. Vid teoretiska prov har man funnit att män har en tendens att värdera sina prestationer högre än vad kvinnor gör.

Background: The Stop rule for buying in property was introduced through 1976 years legislation and its formemost purpose was to prevent companies to acquire property that was useless for the company. Assets such as cars, boats and arts were of current interest. At the same time as this stop rule was introduced, another stop rule was also introduced and this was meant to work to forbid the partner to buy property from the close company to a price that would lead to sell at loss for the company. After a government decision (1999:2000, Abolished Stop rules) the close company is no longer living under this restriction since these two stop rules have been abolished since January 2001. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate which criteria are the basis to judge whether the assets is to consider as useful or not for the close company.

AbstractThis examination project studies two groups of students, who are in the last year of the mandatory school attendance in Sweden (15 years old and in school year nine), their views and thoughts about the Swedish school. The purpose of this study is to examine how the students in the study thinks about the role that the Swedish school have, and should have in the society, and how, and if the fostering mission that the Swedish school have, has any implication on the student?s opinions. I have also studied if the student?s trusts the Swedish school.I have made my study on interviews with two groups of students, one with four boys and one with four girls.

The purpose of this essay is to examine what kind of pictures the children encounter everyday in their classroom. Furthermore, the idea was to immerse myself in how girls and boys are portrayed in these pictures from a gender perspective. Three question were set, to enable this study: What kind of pictures will second grade pupils encounter in their classroom, in a city school and in a rural school?How many girls and boys are illustrated in these pictures?How are girls and boys portrayed in these pictures?The examination was done by a field study of two classrooms, where all the pictures on the walls were documented using a digital camera. The collected material were examined, using both a quantitative analysis and a qualitative ditto.
