Tidigare studier har visat att sjuksköterskor inte diskuterar sexualitet med sina patienter, trots att behovet finns. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva attityder hos sjuksköterskor på hjärtintensivavdelningar gällande samtal om sexualitet med hjärtpatienter och undersöka skillnader mellan ett universitetssjukhus och ett länsdelssjukhus samt undersöka samband i attityder för respektive avdelning. Data samlades in med den svenska versionen av instrumentet Sexuality Attitudes and Belifes Survey (SABS). Sextiofem enkäter delades ut, varav 34 besvarades. Huvudresultatet visade att sjuksköterskorna från båda sjukhusen var positivt inställda till samtal om sexualitet med patienterna.

This thesis examines the effects of electricity visualization in an office building. The subject was investigated through the creation of a web based visualization tool that was made accessible to the about 1500 employees in a large office building. The visualization was available for three weeks. During this period interviews, user studies and observations took place in order to evaluate what, if any, effects the visualization had on the Attitudes and behaviors in the office. Electricity use data was collected and analyzed to see if the project had a statistically significant effect on the electricity consumption in the office.The results from the interviews and the data analysis indicate that no reduction in electricity consumption took place, and a number of factors that could increase the chances of success were identified.

Bakgrund: Tobaksrökning är den viktigaste enskilda bidragande dödorsaken och stod därmed för en tiondel av alla dödsfall i Sverige under perioden 2010-2012. I Sverige börjar 15 000 ungdomar röka varje år och flickor är rökare i större utsträckning än pojkar.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva ungdomars attityder till och erfarenheter av rökning, i åldern 10-19årMetod: En litteraturstudie användes som metod vilket är en studie där vetenskapligt material granskas och analyseras från tidigare genomförda studier. Artikelsökningen gjordes i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl och begränsades till publikations år 2003-2014. Tio stycken artiklar användes och målgruppen var ungdomar mellan 10-19 år.Resultat: det huvudsakliga resultatet presenterades i fyra temaområden, könsskillnader, den sociala omgivningens betydelse, ungdomars attityder till rökning och uppfattningar om risker och fördelar med att röka. Ungdomars relation till rökning påverkades av den sociala omgivningen och även familjen och vänner hade stark påverkan på ungdomars rökvanor,Slutsatts: Det är viktigt att vara medveten om ungdomars erfarenheter och attityder till rökning.

The question how teaching should be organized in order to give the students the help and support they need to reach their goals is always of vital interest. All students are unique individuals with different prerequisities, possibilities and needs. Streaming in mathematics could be one solution.The first week at upper secondary school a diagnostic test is carried through. Thereafter, the result is used as a basis for dividing the classes into different teaching groups. Thus, the groups working with mathematics become more homogeneous and the students? previous knowledge is approximately at the same level.

The focus of this essay is set on a number of processes that affect the challenges of the tourist trade, to be more precise ? an analysis of the Attitudes towards tourism and sustainability within this line of business ? from an ethical and moral as well as social view. These issues are examined with reference to the concept of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Thus, acquaintance with theories of social constructivism, post colonialism, globalisation and global civil society is essential in order to understand the analysed material. The essay is mainly based on the outcome of qualitative interviews with various kinds of persons working with CSR related questions.

One of the Swedish preschools many tasks is to identify the needs of a child and to shape an activity suited to their needs. This identification means a lot of times that a child is weighed and valued despite that the curriculum clearly states that no assessment is to be done in the Swedish preschool. To develop a preschool able to face all children regardless of their individual needs it?s necessary to change focus from child assessment to instead look at the work and environment in the whole preschool. A development of the activity might be seen as a work in progress whose primary goal is to improve the quality of work in preschool.

The purpose of this study is to gain increased understanding of managers´ Attitudes and knowledge about its role in the internal organizational communication. We want to understand how managers define dialogue and further understand the role that dialogue plays for managers. We want to see whether the different managers highlight some common foundations or differences in the dialogue. With the help of the following two questions we wish to understand managers´ relationship to the dialogue within the internal organizational communication: -What meaning does the dialogue have for managers in the private sector?-What role does the dialogue play in the internal organizational communication according to these managers? We use qualitative interviews as the data collection method of our material. Using material from the interviews and mainly in accordance with William Isaacs? theory of dialogue, wecan answer our questions. The result shows that managers' views on the dialogue in many cases are similar to Isaacs? vision but differs in part. The managers believe that employees are there to contribute to the company.

Facial expressions are a part of our body language that helps us to clarify the verbal communication between humans. We use our facial expressions every day, both consciously and unconsciously, to express emotions and Attitudes depending on the situation. The hypothesis of the study is: Given a facial expression, how well can Microsoft Kinect, as an input method, determine a person?s feelings with the two algorithms Naive Bayes and Sequential Minimal Optimization? The feelings are limited to happy, sad, surprised and disgusted. With the help of Kinect, a person?s facial data, both coordinates of the face and parameterized data, were saved and used for machine learning.

Denna undersökning bygger på lärares attityder till konfliktsituationer och deras föreställningar om hur de agerar vid dessa. Det vi i vår undersökning eftersöker är dels om lärarnas agerande skiljer sig mellan år 1 och år 6 och dels om deras utsagor tyder på en bakomliggande teoretisk kunskap. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ ansats görs åtta intervjuer med behöriga lärare, fyra verksamma i år 1 och fyra verksamma i år 6. Analysen av det insamlade materialet visar att varje lärare har skilda sätt att se på konflikter och majoriteten anser att de både har positiva och negativa aspekter. När det gäller sättet att hantera konflikter har vi funnit att en gemensam grundmodell används.

This qualitative study is about the individual supportive conversation with the school welfare officer in upper secondary school. The main aim of the study was to find out what the pupils get out of a series of conversations with the school welfare officer and what it means for the pupils that the welfare officer belongs to the school organization. Six qualitative interviews were held with pupils who had conversation contact with the school welfare officer during their time at upper secondary school.I found that these pupils and welfare officers were oriented towards change and solutions. I found that the most important thing for the pupils was to achieve a good and trusting relationship with the welfare officer. After this the pupil starts a process of change in cooperation with the welfare officer, with the aim that the pupil should be happy and satisfied with the current life situation.
