Handlingsbarheten hos informationssystem : en fallstudie av SJ:s bokningssystem

Sweden is known to be one of the world?s most equal countries. Nevertheless, out  of  Sweden?s 262 listed companies, only seven  of  them  has  a  female  president, which  is  equal  to  3,4  percent. To  counteract  these  numbers  there  are  several  possibilities.  One  arrangement  that  is  highly  controversial     is  affirmative  actions.  But  there  are  other  options,  for  instance  more  and  more female  networks  are  starting  to  rise  and  many  of  them  also  offers  a  mentoring  program  where  the  mentee  gets  the  opportunity  to  learn  from  someone  with  more  experience.The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  examine  what  difference  the  female  network  Q80,  with  focus  on  its  mentoring  program,  is  doing  for  the  mentee.  As  an  underlying  purpose  the  study  is  also  examining  what  visions  and  Attitudes  the  management  and  the  mentors  is  communicating  within  Q80.  The  focus  is  mainly  on  the  visions  of  Q80,  menas  mentors  and  business  exceeding mentorship.  A  survey  has  been  carried  out  among  mentees  from  three  different  seats of mentoring  programs  where  they  have  answered  19  different  questions  regarding  their  time  as  a  mentee.  Furthermore  interviews  have  taken  place  with the management  of Q80  and  two  mentors.  The  results  are  analyzed  based  on  theories  about  gender,  women  in   management,  leadership,  mentoring  program  and  organizational structure.  The  result  shows  that  Q80i  as  a  source  of  inspiration  and  a  support  for  the  category  of  "career  women"  with  its  core  mission  to  strengthen  the  participation of  individuals  on  a  personal  level  more than  to  work  to  even  out  the  gap  in  the  Swedish  labor market.

This study conducts a qualitative examination based on five interviews with children?s librarians. The aim is to bring up and analyse the Attitudes of the librarians towards reading promotion activities for children outside of school and investigate their experiences of participation in a summer reading challenge project.The first theory used to analyse is Jofrid Karner Smidt?s thesis of five different roles that a librarian can have on literary preferences. The second is her theory of how librarians view their promotion of literature.My interviews shows that the librarians in the study have a common opinion and enthusiasm regarding children's pleasure reading.

ATTITYDER AV BETYDELSE EN LITTERATURSTUDIE OM SJUKSKÖTERSKESTUDENTERS OCH NYEXAMINERADE SJUKSKÖTERSKORS ATTITYDER TILL ÄLDRE

Bakgrund: Antalet äldre i Sverige ökar. Det finns en tendens i dagens samhälle att generalisera och betrakta äldre människor som en homogen grupp istället för som individer. Detta kan i sin tur leda till negativa attityder mot äldre. Ett samlingsnamn för de negativa attityderna är begreppet ålderism som inkluderar det faktum att äldre människor kan komma att behandlas utan respekt på grund av sin ålder. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskestudenters och nyexaminerade sjuksköterskors attityder till äldre patienter och till att arbeta med dem. Metod: En litteraturstudie har utförts där tolv artiklar från tio olika länder har granskats. Resultat: Sjuksköterskestudenters och nyexaminerade sjuksköterskors attityder till äldre påverkas av: genus, ålder, utbildning, stöd under klinisk träning, tidigare erfarenhet och intresse av att arbeta med äldre. Konklusion: Ålderdom, fysiologiskt och patologiskt, kan behöva utvecklas och attityder till äldre behöver diskuteras under sjuksköterskeutbildningen i ett försök att belysa, förändra alternativt förbättra attityder mot äldre. Studenternas attityder kan förslagsvis följas upp med en studie i början samt i slutet av sjuksköterskeutbildningen..

Självbestämmande och inflytande utifrån LSS värdegrund : En studie av brukarnas självbestämmande och inflytande i vardagsrutiner ur ett assistentperspektiv

The purpose of this study was to find out how special needs users ' autonomy and influence in their daily routines is described by their assistants. What interpretations of the concepts of self-determination and influence on special needs users' daily routines emerge from the assistants statements and what conditions can be seen? To reach a conclusion, focus group as a method was used. The focus group met twice to discuss this topic. The diamond method was used as stimulus material to support the discussion in the focus group.

In this thesis recruiter?s Attitudes and usage of social media within the media business has been examined. The purpose was to find out whether a certain type of behavior in social media could or could not lead to a future employment. How much weight is put on the virtual identity and what does recruiters look for when the look someone up on the internet. Personal interviews with recruiters were done in six different media companies in Stockholm to find out how they used social media when searching and employing new employers.

ÄPPLEN OCH PÄRON: Varför PR och reklam inte kan mätas på samma sätt

Inspired by the current debate over the effectiveness of Public Relations (PR), the authors of the following thesis have sought to analyze how PR and advertising differ in terms of how they affect consumers. The subject of the thesis was chosen due to the lacking knowledge of how PR shapes consumer Attitudes and intentions. The authors wish to upset the institutionalized myths which dominate in the PR-business. One example of such a myth is that the effectiveness of PR can be measured by the number of press releases an activity produces and that PR?s superiority over advertising is due to its higher trustworthiness.

Sjuksköterskors implicita attityder gentemot patienter med missbruksproblem

Patienter med missbruksproblem upptar mycket av hälso- ochsjukvårdens platser och resurser. Det är därmed viktigt attsäkerställa att dessa patienter får god vård och belysa vilkafaktorer som kan inverka på omvårdnaden. Syftet var att belysasjuksköterskors attityder gentemot patienter medmissbruksproblem samt att beskriva hur mötet mellansjuksköterskor och dessa patienter ser ut. Det användes 17vetenskapliga artiklar som grund för detta arbete varav 11 varkvantitativa och sex var kvalitativa. Det framkom attsjuksköterskor ofta uppvisade negativa attityder gentemot patientermed missbruksproblematik och detta inverkade på omvårdnadenav patienterna.

The media arena is becoming more and more crowded by various brands and different commercial messages. At the same time, consumers learn how to screen marketing communication and their cognitive ad filters enable them to avoid message elaboration. In the present study, we have investigated how the choice of media affects attention, memory and several communication effects that the ad can generate in the short as well as in the long term. Mobbning - En fallstudie av en antimobbningsplan och dess effektivitet ur elevens perspektiv

The purpose of my essay is on one hand to research and evaluate the measures that one intermediate school in Sweden, uses in order to prevent bullying and stop it in the event that one pupil happens to get bullied or harassed. In other words, I would like to show how that school is capable of creating a safe environment. Qualitative research is used to obtain these findings.On the other hand, I also wish to examine what pupils at the school think about these measures and how they perceive the Attitudes of the school?s teachers and management regarding the prevention of bullying. In order to acquire this information quantitative research is used.The conclusions that I draw after conducting my research are as follows:1- Regarding the ?Anti ? bullying Performance Plan?, my essay shows that school teachers and management actively work in order to maintain a safe environment and as a result bullying is successfully prevented the school.

Attityder inför en hälsointervention hos de anställda på ett företag

Denna uppsats hade till syfte att undersöka hur attityder inför en hälsointervention ser ut hos anställda på ett företag där de anställda stod inför en kommande hälsointervention. Genom arbetet har författarna använt sig av tolkningar lutade på hermeneutiska principer. Författarna till denna uppsats skaffade sig ett kunskapsunderlag genom att genomföra kvalitativa intervjuer med fem stycken anställda på ett företag som stod inför en hälsointervention. I uppsatsens resultat och analysdel redovisar författarna bland annat intervjudeltagarnas kognitiva, intentionella samt affektiva attityder och tolkar kring dessa. Vidare behandlas informanternas kunskap om den kommande interventionen, samt eventuella bakomliggande faktorer till de uppvisade attityderna.

Skönhet kommer från Photoshop - En studie om effekter av retuscherade modeller i reklam

There are widespread discussions about the use of retouched models in media, ranging from bloggers to legal decision-makers. Research shows that there are negative psychological effects on especially females being exposed to idealized, retouched model images. The purpose of this paper is to explore the effects of using retouched models in advertising from a marketing perspective, based on Attitudes, perceived quality and purchase intentions.Based on theories about attractiveness, halo-effects and social comparison, an experimental study was done, investigating the different responses on above mentioned parameters to advertisements showing either retouched model images or non-retouched model images. Initially it was also tested if the retouched models were seen as more attractive than the non-retouched models. The results showed almost no differences between the reactions to the advertisements with retouched models compared to the advertisements with non-retouched models, when all respondent groups were analyzed together.

Miljöbilsanvändning : En attityd- och beteendeundersökning hos ägare av bilar drivna med förnybara drivmedel

The aim of this report is to give a picture of how Attitudes and behaviours of owners of environment cars look like and how they can be influenced. The alignment lies on environmental cars which run on biogas and ethanol which both are renewable fuels. The starting point is to sort out if it is environmental thinking that controls the choice and use of an environmental car. The feeling is that there are many other factors that can be more controlling, for example the price and the quality of the car. The result of the questionnaire survey which is the foundation of the report shows however that those who buy an environmental car do it mostly because of environmental reasons.

Metadon - drog eller medicin: en diskursanalys av Socialstyrelsens föreskrifter för läkemedelsassisterad behandling vid opiatberoende.

This thesis discusses the Attitudes versus methadone assisted rehabilitation ad modum Dole Nyswander in Sweden during the period 1972-2004. This is done by means of a Foucault inspired discourse analysis applied on the directions issued by the Board of Health and Social Affairs. The context in which these directions were created is also described, in which scientific achievements on methadone treatments during the period, and the main actors struggling to establish and define the discourse on narcotics and narcomania, are juxtaposed to the effects of the work of the Board. It is stated that the directions were largely affected not by scientific results and knowledge on methadone, but by the symbolic connotations of narcotics in Sweden established in the discourse already in the mid 1960´s. Also during the end of the studied period, after the occurence of AIDS had begun making methadone more broadly accepted, the findings of this thesis showed that the legacy of the 1970´s symtomtheory and its severe antagonism against methadone, was still present, in effect, in the discourse around methadone and subutex assisted rehabilitation, and so in the directions issued by the Board of Health and Social Affairs..

Kan inställningen till framtida sexualvanor och deltagande i gynekologisk cellprovskontroll påverkas av HPV-vaccinering? : En kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Human Papilloma virus (HPV) can lead to cervical cancer, a common form of cancer in Sweden and globally. A vaccine has been developed for the most carcinogenic strains of HPV. In Sweden it is planned that the vaccine be included in the public national vaccination program for children. The aim of this study was to illustrate Attitudes towards future sexual habits and preventive cervical cancer screening among young women and parents of girls vaccinated against HPV. This study is a part of a larger project where interviews with young women aged 17 to 26 years and parents of girls aged 13 to 17 years compose the foundation.
