Today endless choices exist for a customer in the grocery store in terms of information, products, brands and prices. Consequently, it is important for retailers and brand owners to gain insights in how they can manage to break through the clutter to reach the customer. Displays that include some kind of motion element are assumed to possess an Attention grabbing ability, which is a necessary first step in influencing the customer?s decision making. Therefore we have explored whether so called dynamic displays are efficient in grabbing Attention and influencing customer behaviour.

The aim is to examine how students with Attention difficulties may demonstrate their mathematical understanding through visual representations. A curiosity about how students think about mathematics, national tests and Concepts cartoons has also permeated the study. With help of observations combined with interviews and actively work for a week, the study shows an idea of how visual representations can help students with concentration difficulties to stay focused on their tasks. I chose a selection of pupils to do some mathematical tasks from the national tests which they had not been able to solve before. Now in the form of Concepts cartoons, which I designed, they managed to solve the same mathematics data. In my study treatment and interaction reveals as key pillars for a successful educational work with the students with concentration difficulties. Thus, all pupils who previously have been unable to solve these assignments on the National test were now able to show their mathematical understanding supported by visual representations..

Abstract: The purpose with this study was to explore different peoples preconceived opinions of three psychiatric diagnoses; Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). These designations are accompanied by a definite social stigma, which could have profound effects on a person diagnosed with either disorder. These designations carry the risk of excluding and labelling individuals and could provoke a feeling of abnormality and potentially segregate them from the Community. This study is a qualitative study of six individuals, (sample size equals six). The rationale behind the selection was to get a broad representation of different individuals? opinions.

Syftet med denna studie var att genom granskning av litteratur undersöka vilka typer av arbetsterapeutiska interventioner som görs för barn med ADHD i åldern 5-12 år, samt effekten av dessa. En litteraturöversikt valdes som metod för att undersöka kunskapsläget inom ämnet ADHD. Litteratursökning genomfördes via databaser tillgängliga vid universitetsbiblioteket vid Luleå Tekniska universitet och sju artiklar valdes ut. Analysen visade att interventionerna riktade sig främst mot att stödja barnen med koncentration, stillasittande och stärka kognitiva svårigheter. Resultatet av denna rapport beskriver exempel på typer arbetsterapeutiska interventioner gjorda för barn med ADHD.

The aim of the present study is to describe the experiences of high school students as regards the effects of their activities, in and out of lessons, being published on the web. In addition, a further purpose is to acquire knowledge about whether a website could be used as means of increasing the students level of Attention, and focus, to their activities in school; and, furthermore, how such a website should be designed to correspond with the students requests.The implemented methods are interviews with students, school administrators and teachers. A survey was conducted covering the student?s personal experiences and opinions. Furthermore, an interface test of the website was performed.

A challenge faced by marketers is to make their products stand out in today's cluttered marketplace. Bakgrund: Barn med Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) har svårigheter med uppmärksamhetsförmåga samt impulsivt och hyperaktivt beteende. Arbetsterapeuter genomför interventioner med mål att förbättra barns förutsättningar för lärande och att utvecklas socialt, teoretiskt och aktivitetsmässigt. Studiens syfte är att beskriva arbetsterapeutiska interventioner och dess effekter på inlärningsförmågan hos barn i åldern 6-12 år med Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.Metod: Studien är gjord i form av en litteraturöversikt utifrån aktuell publicerad empirisk forskning. Resultatet bygger på 13 artiklar som beskriver effekten av arbetsterapeutiska interventioner.Resultat: Resultatet beskriver hur arbetsterapeuter arbetar med barn med ADHD genom att anpassa miljön, arbeta med barns förmåga att fungera i social kontext, påverka barns kognitiva kapacitet och anpassa aktivitet. Interventionerna beskrevs generellt ha en positiv effekt på den problematik målgruppen barn med ADHD har.Slutsats: Interventionerna påverkar och visar effekt på faktorer viktiga för barns inlärningsförmåga och utveckling.

This essay explores how artwork in the public space can be analysed, conceptualized and described by bringing Attention to site. Through an analysis of artworks in the yearly art exhibition of Fittja Open 2011, the essay draws Attention to site-specific art and structures of power. The principal aim is to present not only the exhibition of Fittja Open 2011 but also other artwork in the public sphere in Fittja, a suburb to Stockholm. From this point of departure other interests evolve that concerns the "image" of Fittja. The analysis, based on research in art history, architecture, ethnology and philosophy as well as qualitative interviews, also focuses on understanding the role of site and the relations between art practice, institutions and site.The result shows that there are problems with a ruptured interface between the artwork and site.

Background: Previous research has shown that the understanding and knowledge about the spiritual needs is not given high priority among nursing staff. During the latest years the body and its functions has controlled the healthcare and the spiritual needs has been placed in the background. All humans have spiritual needs that must be satisfied irrespective of religious background. Aim: The aim of this study was to in a caring perspective illustrate patients? spiritual and existential needs in palliative care.

The thesis had its starting point in the first paragraph of the eleventh chapter in the Swedish social services act, which discusses the immediate risk assessments that has to be made when the social services receive a report about a child. The thesis highlights an area that has received a lot of Attention in media since the spring of 2014, when an eight year old girl was fatally abused by her legal guardians. The social services had at the time received a report about the girl but it was left unread. This tragic case has brought Attention to the routines used by the social services for dealing with reports and risk assessments. This thesis was conducted through individual interviews with social workers working with children and families in the social services, with the aim to acquire an enhanced understanding of how social workers perform immediate risk assessments and what these assessments are based on.

In today's society social movement are dependent on media as a channel to com-municate their political message and their discourse. Media is an arena for dis-courses but at the same time, along with Attac, one of the actors who struggle to be part of the dominant discourse of the society. This struggle is uneven due to media and the relationship is to some content hegemonic.Attac Sweden was constituted in January 2001 and got an enormous amount of Attention in media. But after the riots during the Göteborg European Council in June 2001, that Attac was partly blamed for, the Attention in media has faded out. This paper shows that the images of Attac in media hasn?t been favouring the movement, especially during and after the meeting in Gothenburg.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate and analyze affecting factors concerning social workers in two different municipality social services, Karlskrona and Karlshamn, working with cases of youth drug abuse. We wanted to see what affects social workers in their choices of assessments of youth drug abusers. We wanted to find out whether the organizational aspects or the cliental qualities affect the social workers more than the other in the choices of assessments. Among the cliental qualities we used in this essay, gender was the most important quality and therefore the quality we wanted to pay special Attention to. When it came to the organizational aspects we paid special Attention to the social workers boundaries of agency.
