When a combined heat and power plant produces heat and power it often faces a deficit of heat load during the summer or other periods of time. This heat is often unnecessarily cooled away or the power production has to be reduced or shut off. If it is possible to store heat from periods with low heat demand to periods with high heat demand one can get many benefits. Among these benefits are: increased power production, decreased operation with partial load, uniformly distributed load.To be able to store heat in situations like this long-term thermal heat storages are needed. In this thesis five different types of stores are presented: rock cavern storage, tank storage, pit water storage, borehole storage and aquifer storage.

This essay comprises a study of the bridal crowns of Tjust, with respect to their national history, concept and aspect of mythological symbol. The tradition of bearing the parochial bridal crown is closely associated with religious medieval politics, and has also come to include elements of superstition and folklore. Attention is paid to these aspects dealing with the position of the bridal crown within current forms of tradition and culture and the impact on brides of this day and age. As the tradition of Church-owned bridal crowns is intrinsic to this country, and especially in the area of which Tjust is a part, possible solutions to the continued tradition are investigated..

The problem, which I want to highlight in this essay, is about my fear of losing face in conversationwith the parents of my text. I'm going through different approaches to find out what is happening inmy meetings with parents. I will also see if the knowledge that I get will help me to get deeperunderstanding of my reactions in different situations and if this opens up new possible ways ofhandling them.In my text there will be two stories where the conversation with parents has been difficult. Theyboth illustrate my uncertainty concerning the unpredictability of conversations with distressed orstressed parents. I can prepare the environment, by cleaning and making it look nice before meetingwith the parents.

The purpose of this study is to explore how teachers in Sweden and Croatia work with children that have problems like ADHD and dyslexia in school. I have chosen to compare pedagogical methods between Swedish and Croatian teachers which are used in work with children with difficulties when it comes to the education and teachers approach to these children. I have done a qualified study and have interviewed teachers in both Sweden and Croatia and one specialist in pedagogy in Croatia. I compared with these interviews information from earlier studies and literature. Results show that teachers in Sweden are of the opinion that every student who has these difficulties is different and therefore the use a variation of pedagogical strategies is crucial.

I mars 2011 presenterades ett förslag om att reducera mervärdesskatten på restaurang- och cateringtjänster exklusive alkohol från den dåvarande 25 procent till dagens 12 procent. Denna förändring förväntades skapa 3500 helårsanställningar inom restaurang och cateringbranschen. (2011/12:RFR13, s.56-57)   I januari 2012 införde staten en sänkt momssats för restaurangföretagare från den dåvarande 25 procentiga momsen till dagens 12 procentiga moms.   Syftet med denna studie är att öka förståelsen för vilka aspekter som påverkar restauranger att förändra sin verksamhet i relation till den sänkta restaurangmomsen 2012. Utöver detta skall vårt empiriska material användas för att skapa en egen modell. Denna modell skall användas till att förstå organisationsförändring och faktorer som påverkar en sådan förändring.   För att komma närmare studiens frågeställning har vi valt att utgå ifrån ett antal olika modeller som berör organisationsförändring med fokus på varför en förändring sker och vilka element som är viktiga att fokusera på för att kunna studera denna förändring.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva omständigheter som påverkade sömnen hos äldre samt vilka icke-medicinska omvårdnadsåtgärder som kan göras för att lindra sömnproblem. Äldre i studien var personer över 60 år, men det var ingen åldersbegränsning i urvalet av studierna. För att besvara frågeställningarna genomfördes en litteratursökning i databaserna Medline (Pubmed), Academic search elite, Science Direct utifrån inkulsionkriterierna. Det var 12 empiriska studier som inkluderades och granskades. Resultatet visade att omsändigheter för sömproblem var att vara äldre och att lida av depression.

ABSTRACTClimate Change in the Daily PressAn Analysis of the Representation Swedish Daily Papers Convey Through Their Editorials About the Climate ChangeThe purpose of this essay is partly to present how swedish daily papers describe the climate change through their editorials and partly to examine if their politcal affiliation effect their point of view about the climate change. The search incluedes editorials from 6 daily papers (Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Göteborgstidningen, Nerikes Allehanda and Svenska Dagbladet) from the year 1997 to the year 2003. Three discourses and the order between them, found by a former analysis (Adger and others, 2001) of the international politics of climate change, are used as types of ideal in a form of an analysis of idea.The analysis reveals that the swedish daily papers don?t give the problem any major attention. Only a total of 65 editorials about the climate change could be found even though the papers produces several thousands during the period.

Our aim of this study was to investigate barriers and opportunities for people with mental disorders getting in to the labor market. This from experiences by people whose daily job contains work rehabilitation for this group in particular. On the basis of five qualitative interviews the results showed that prejudices towards people with mental disorders are a barrier for them to get a wage labor. Furthermore the results showed that low self-esteem within the target group and also high educational demands becomes a barrier to a wage labor. The results also showed that to focus on the healthy aspects may serve as an opportunity for people with mental disorders to get in to the labor market and be able to have a paid job.

En experimentell vinjettstudie genomfördes för att undersöka hur graden av em-pati för personer med ett självskadebeteende varierar beroende på bakomliggande orsak samt grad av kännedom om ämnet. I studien deltog 121 respondenter som fick besvara en av tre vinjetter: (a) självskadebeteende utan angiven orsak, (b) Självskadebeteende med orsak borderline personlighetsstörning eller (c) Självska-debeteende med orsak övergrepp. Studien visade att ett samband mellan empati och självskadebeteende utan orsak samt mellan empati och självskadebeteende med orsak borderline personlighetsstörning. Inget samband påvisades mellan em-pati och självskadebeteende med orsak övergrepp. Vidare framkom inga signifi-kanta skillnader mellan grupperna i empatigrad, vilket kan ha att göra med att självskadebeteende som enskild variabel var tillräcklig för att generera ett visst mått av empati.

This study was about how pupils described their school situation with special education. The specific focus was on pupils which are described as ?troubled pupils?, unconcentrated pupils?, pupils in social and emotional difficulties or characterised by similar concepts. The study was based on a sociocultural perspective and an interactional perspective. The empirical material consisted of interviews with eight pupils in age between 9 to 12 years old and who had special education.

BACKGROUND: Previous research shows that many nurses feel that patients with borderlinepersonality disorder (BPD) are more difficult to provide care to than patients with otherdiagnoses. Experiences of these meetings with BPD patients are often negative. With thisbackground, a literature study was made in order to elucidate the patients' perspective. AIM:Compiling knowledge of how patients diagnosed with BPD experience their treatment and themeeting with health care professionals. METHOD: Through the databases PsycINFO andPubMed, twelve qualitative articles were selected and summarized in a literature study.

Via a retrospective analysis I have attempted to understand how teachers ?views of their pupils has changed from the beginning of the century to the present day.

This paper studies the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein during his years (1920?26) as an elementary school teacher in remote Niederösterreich, Austria. The paper gives a survey of his life, and also a brief account of three of his main works: Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, Philosophical Investigations and Remarks on the Foundations of Mathematics. Attention is given to his alphabetical word list, Wörterbuch für Volksschulen, published for educational use in elementary schools. The study is focused on Wittgenstein?s educational practise, and establishes a connection between his experience as a teacher and his late philosophy..

There is therefore necessary to find out how companies work to create trust between themselves and their customers.Purpose: The purpose of this report is to examine and explain how staffing companies work to build trust in their relationships with B2B clients through examination of the conceptual model, creating a theoretical contribution.Research question: How do recruiters at staffing companies work to create trust between themselves and the customer?Methodology: The study adopted a quality research method with a deductive approach where the focus wasg on describing and analyzing. The data was collected primarily through semi-­?structured interviews.Research findings: Through the study?s interviews and their results is it possible to see that staffing companies in Växjö is working with trust.

AbstractSyftet med studien var att utvärdera fluoxetins effekt på hetsätning och kräkning vid bulimia nervosadå ingen samtidigt psykoterapi ges. Även tid för behandlingseffekt, förändringar på andrasjukdomskarakteristika, förekomst av viktförändring och biverkningar undersöktes. Studiengenomfördes som en litteraturstudie. Sökningar efter litteratur skedde i Pubmed, Google, ELIN,Artikelsök, Cochrane, EMEA, SweMed+. Sökorden var; bulimia, bulimia nervosa, fluoxetine, prozac,psychotropic drugs, antidepressive agents, serotonin uptake inhibitors, ätstörning, eating, disorder.Sammanfattningsvis hade fluoxetin 60 mg/dag en god effekt på att minska antalet hetsätningar ochkräkningar per vecka jämfört med placebo.
