Varje dag utsätts människor för brott i Sverige och att utsättas för brott kan leda till både emotionella och praktiska svårigheter. Att den brottsutsatta har möjlighet till stöd och hjälp efter händelsen kan minska de negativa följderna av brottet, såsom PTSD och sekundär viktimisering. I många kommuner i Sverige finns lokala brottsofferjourer som finns till för de brottsutsatta, men i distriktet Östra Norrbotten finns det ingen verksamhet som specifikt täcker detta område. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka om poliserna i Östra Norrbotten upplever att de kan erbjuda eller hänvisa de brottsutsatta individerna tillräcklig hjälp. Åtta poliser i distriktet intervjuades för att på så sätt ta del av deras upplevelser.

I detta arbete undersöks vad matematiklärare som undervisar Matematik A på gymnasiet anser är de största pedagogiska problemen de stöter på i sitt yrke. Undersökningen har gjorts i form av en enkät som delats ut på fem gymnasieskolor. Lärarna har dels fått fundera fritt kring pedagogiska problem, men även fått svara på vad de ser för problem inom tre inriktade områden som jag specialstuderat, nämligen bedömning, räknare och alternativ matematikundervisning. Jag har även undersökt huruvida det finns några skillnader i svar mellan lärare som undervisar de yrkesförberedande programmen jämfört med dem som undervisar de studieförberedande programmen. Resultaten visar att de svarande lärarna främst menade att svaga elever var deras stora problem, och detta i större utsträckning bland de yrkesförberedande programlärarna än bland deras studieförberedande programkollegor, vilket också var den största skillnaden lärarna emellan..

Syftet med vår uppsats var att vi ville, genom intervjuer med familjehemsföräldrar och socialsekreterare, få kunskap om och djupare förståelse för små barn som lever i familjehem. Våra frågeställningar blev därmed: Vilka erfarenheter har familjehemsföräldrar/socialsekreterare av små barn som placeras? Vid ett omhändertagande, hur kan man bibehålla relationen mellan barn och biologiska föräldrar och vilka möjligheter har barn att knyta an till familjehemsföräldrar? Hur skiljer sig en placering som är frivillig från en tvångsplacering? Vilka erfarenheter har familjehemsföräldrar/socialsekreterare angående barns återförening till biologiska föräldrar? Resultatet från intervjuerna visade på att såväl familjehemsföräldrar som socialsekreterare upplever svårigheter vid placering av små barn och att man bäst bevarar relationen mellan biologiska föräldrar och barn genom kontinuerliga umgängen. Familjehemsföräldrar har inte upplevt några svårigheter för barnet att knyta an till dem och de har skilda erfarenheter av vilken form av placering som är mest gynnsam för barnet. Både familjehemsföräldrar och socialsekreterare framför att målet är att barnet ska återförenas med ursprungsfamiljen, men de kan se svårigheter när barnet känner tillhörighet i familjehemmet..

The purpose of this thesis is to see how small differences in a store can affect the customer behavior. The changes consist of auditory and visual sensory cues. Since many companies today makes a lot of changes in their styling element, but without knowing how it really affects the customer behavior we thought it would be interesting to see by doing an experiment at IKEA. The study is therefore based on a quantitative research method, where theories have been described and from which hypotheses have been derived to test the theories. The experience took place at IKEA during two weeks where 5732 observations were made.The result from the experiment is that the sensory cue sight makes individuals spend more time in the environment but not creating attention.

All entrepreneurs have to distinguish themselves in the extremely tight competition.This thesis examines how product photos can reach out to the consumers successfully. Both students have previous experiences from model shoots ? but now want to study the possibilities to sell a product without a human model.The purpose of the thesis is to examine how to convey core values by commercial product photos - how to best capture the attention of a customer.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate how teachers work to lead and motivate high-performing students, and how these students were defined. The method used was qualitative, more specifically an interview, which was then analyzed with a thematic analysis. Six teachers participated in the survey, and what emerged was that high-performing students were often ambitious, structured and social students. High performing students were also characterized by the fact that they needed challenges, attention and positive feedback on their performances, otherwise they ran a risk of not performing. Structure was also important for the teachers themselves, that they had a goal when teaching and a way of achieving that goal.

This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.

The background of the study consists of the fact that knowledge about how eating disorders are developed and maintained is extensive. Socio-cultural factors and media influence when developing an eating disorder is of significance. When reviewing literature and previous research, knowledge about practical attainments when treating eating disorders are insufficient. The aim of the study was therefore to examine how staff who treats eating disordered patients think about body ideals, strive for success and media influence in treatment and rehabilitation. The theory consists of Foucault?s theory of power, how beauty ideals are dependent of the cultural context in which we live and what qualities are associated with beauty and body ideals.

Based on phenomenological hermeneutics and narrative theory the study explored how parents experience and create meaning when the child receives the diagnosis of autistic disorder. Interviews were conducted with eight parents and the analysis concerned both contents and form in their stories. The resulting aspects of the contents is presented in seven areas: stories about the time before the diagnosis, seeking help, receiving the diagnosis, the meaning of the diagnosis, coping, living with autism and stories about the future. The six resulting aspects of form included: chronology of the stories, creating order out of chaos, cultural norms, rewriting the story about the child, aspects of metaphors and changing perspective. The conclusion of the study is that the diagnosis serves as a way for the parents to transform experiences into a meaningful whole.

Syftet med denna studie a?r att fo?rsta? vilka ha?ndelser och processer som ledde fram till den konflikt som uppstod i samband med beslutet om fa?llningen av TV-eken.

AbstractI have chosen to make a study of the learning of reading and writing, as well as other learning difficulties that may occur, in this research.My choice of subject is based on the realizations I made during my time as a student teacher; that each teacher has his/her own way of teaching reading and writing. Sometimes, however, learning difficulties occur, and this insight caught my attention. It made me think about the underlaying reasons and how we, as teachers, can bring attention to these difficulties. With these questions in mind, I recorded my observations based on a series of interviews and literary studies in an attempt to answer my questions. The resulting research emphasizes how important the actions from the teachers are, as well the importance of having variety in your lesson plan.

A pupil with ADHD is constantly getting new impulses and is unable to focus and remain concentration on their task at school. When the pupil loses concentration he or she can often be loud and thereby disturbing all the other pupils in the classroom. One of the reasons for losing their concentration is that these pupils got poor working memory. A recently study shows that working memory can be improved by playing and practice music.A theory that all people have a multiple intelligence that emerges from learning is a part of this study because school should encourage all children and ensure their individual learning. Multiple intelligences means that each person learns in different ways, for example through the musical intelligence that this essay partly focuses on.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva hur arbetsterapeuterna arbetade för att främja delaktig-het i meningsfulla aktiviteter hos vuxna med ADHD. Åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med yrkesverksamma arbetsterapeuter i norra Sverige. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes vid analys av data som resulterade i fyra kategorier. I resultatet framkom det att arbetsterapeuternas arbete bestod av ett klientcentrerat arbetssätt och att skapa förståelse om klienternas vardag för att främja delaktighet i meningsfulla aktiviteter. Förskrivning av tekniska hjälpmedel och samverkan med aktörer och klien-tens nätverk var en stor del av arbetsterapeuternas arbete.

This study is about the work around festivals and traditions that takes place in multicultural preschools. The purpose of this study is to describe and reflect upon the work around festivals and traditions in multicultural preschools from the view of five preschool teachers who are active in their profession.  The purpose is also to investigate which festivals and traditions that are given attention at preschool and for what reason according to the preschool teachers.The method of research chosen in this study is qualitative in the form of individual interviews with the intention of obtaining and interpreting the descriptions and reflections of the informants around the subject. The results will be analyzed from an intercultural perspective.The results show that all investigated preschools celebrate the traditional Swedish festivals Christmas, St. Lucia?s day, Easter and Midsummer, and that these festivals take up lots of space in terms of time and labor.
