Our study illustrates health communication in order to find out how widespread the knowledge is about osteoporosis and how to reach out with health information to the public. Our essay was conducted through quantitative surveys, which included 402 respondents. This in order to highlight the prevailing uncertainty about the public disorder osteoporosis, which is common in Sweden. We wish to examine trough which channels our respondents choose to collect their health information. The thesis framework includes theories such as McGuire?s ProcessingTheory, Agenda setting, Two-step hypothesis and Diffusion of innovation. Through these theories, we analyzed our empirical data that emerged. The results showed that our respondents had very low knowledge of osteoporosis, although theyshowed interest for health information. The results also showed that respondents were consistent intheir actions regarding which channels they came to turn to. They prefered their health informationfrom news papers and family, friends and work colleagues. When asked where they got their information from, the respondents answered mostly from family, friends and work colleagues, followed closely by newspapers. This shows that respondents are more receptive to informationfrom the channels of their own choice. The results also showed that the propensity to change behavior increases with the age of the respondents..

Aim: To describe the lived experience of women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Method: Eight scientific articles of appropriate quality were found, analyzed, condensed and synthesized. Different experiences by women with PCOS were found and ordered into themes. The findings were then anchored in associated literature and discussed. Results: Four different themes were found: Feeling different; Disturbing symptoms; Searching for answers; Care treatment.

Bakgrund: Dikotiska tester kan användas som del i testbatteriet för utredning av hörseluppfattningsstörning (APD, eng. auditory processing disorder) samt vid differentialdiagnostisering. I Sverige har dikotiska tester använts i studier där försökspersonerna varit 11 år eller äldre. Utanför Sverige har studier dock gjorts på barn från 5 år och uppåt.Syfte: Syftet med denna undersökning var att ta fram ett normalmaterial avseende dikotiska tester för elever i årskurs 1, 2, 3 respektive 4 i grundskolan.Metod: Dikotiska tester har utförts vid två grundskolor, på totalt 53 elever i årskurs 1-4. Testmaterialet bestod av siffror, stavelser samt meningar, vilket rapporterats med riktad rapportering.

Fetma och psykisk ohälsa är två utbredda folkhälsoproblem som förutom att orsaka stor samsjuklighet, även ger stora ekonomiska förluster för samhällena. Den här systematiska litteraturstudien gjordes i syftet att undersöka eventuell förekomst av sambandet mellan fetma och psykisk ohälsa. I denna studie avses psykisk ohälsa som ångest, låg sinnesstämning och depression. Pub Med och Lib Hub användes för datainsamling. Vid urval av artiklarna var en av de huvudsakliga etiska principerna att artiklarna måste blivit granskade.

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder that brings great changes in every individual's way of living. The goal in diabetes treatment is that the individual will be able to live a normal life, with normal length. To achieve this there is need to avoid complications, both acute and long-term. To be able to do this this the patient need knowledge about the illness and how to adjust pharmacological treatment to diet and exercise. In this, patient education is an important part.

After the appointment of a new European Commission in 2004, ?communication? was made a top priority on the agenda. The Commission presented a new communication policy, which would establish a dialogue with the citizens, thereby bringing more democracy to the union and bridging the gap to the citizens. Three documents containing the policy were published, namely an internal action plan for the Commission, Plan D which establishes the framework for national debates and a whitepaper on EU communication policy. These documents were met by mistrust and criticism from many different actors such as journalists and experts.The aim of this master thesis is to examine this new communication policy from a deliberative democratic perspective.

The current demanding business environment requires corporations to act fast in finding effective solutions to problems given the myriad of challenges they face (Dyllick & Hockerts, 2001). Since 1992, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) has encouraged the adoption of the concept of ecological efficiency (eco-efficiency) to support business efforts aimed at addressing some of these challenges. The aim of eco-efficiency is to reduce the amount of energy and materials used in production processes to achieve economic and environmental benefits (WBCSD, 2000).

The purpose of this study has been to maintain a deeper understanding of how unestablished, professional musicians can get discovered by the music industry by communication, branding and positioning of their brand at social media.We found that fans have a greater impact on unestablished musicians than we previously thought. They have to create an identity for their brand, keep active on social media and engage their fans. Musical artists must maintain an ongoing dialogue to keep their fanbase, preferably with emotions involved. No fans equals minimum attention from the industry. Uniformity and professionalism is also important, because it evokes seriousness.

This essay, with the title: Among children, laser swords and lions. ? How do we approach and utilize the cultural experiences of children? is an approach to participate in a scientific discussion in the field of cultural experiences. This text is an attempt to show the importance of paying attention to, how children express themselves, and place their activities in social and cultural contexts. By doing so and approaching children and their activities with an intercultural point of view, I can use my new found knowledge and use it to stimulate their future learning progresses in different fields.

I arbetet undersöks lärarrollens yrkesroll inom skolans värld hur man arbetar med elever som drabbats av OCD. OCD står för ?obsessive compulsive disorder? och det innebär människor som lider av ett tvångssyndrom och tvångstankar. Frågor som arbetet ämnar besvara är: Hur märker man om ett barn lider av OCD? Vilka är de utmärkande symptomen? Finns det någon koppling kring OCD och andra psykiska sjukdomar? Hur bemöter skolan de elever som lider av OCD? Finns det någon specifik handlingsplan för dessa elever? Hur bör skolan bemöta dessa elever? Vilka hjälpmedel finns? Hur kan man anpassa undervisningen efter behov? Arbetet består i att ta reda på vilka symptom elever som drabbats av OCD kan ha, hur Barn och ungdomspsykiatri (BUP) arbetar för att bota och lindra syndromet, hur skolan och lärare jobbar för att gynna elevernas utveckling och lärande samt hur man kan känna sig om man lider av syndromet. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod när vi har intervjuat människor som vi anser har haft en stor relevans för undersökningen. Vår slutsats har varit att vi har fått reda på vad man ska ha i åtanke när man arbetar med barn som har OCD och psykisk ohälsa samt vad det innebär att lida av syndromet..

The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate how the current share price and market consensus affect security analysts target price and if an investor should pay any attention to it. Empirical data is primarily collected from qualitative interviews with ten security analysts but also from a quantitative e-mail survey. Our main finding is that security analysts are indeed affected by each others earnings forecasts as well as the current share price. This is not strange, it is in several aspects rational. Security analysts has often nothing to gain by standing out too much and not either by spending too much time trying to create their own opinions due to lack of time or the complexity of what is analyzed.

This paper intends to examine how two newspapers, one local and one national newspaper, reported the gang-related homicides in Malmo in 2011, and compares these two news reports to see if there are any similarities and differences. Another aspect of this study is to elucidate how these two newspapers constitute Malmo as a city. Fairclough?s critical discourse analysis is applied in this study, where I analyze the two newspapers? news coverage based on their content. The content is analyzed by studying the text?s vocabulary, grammar, cohesion, structure, transitivity and modality. One similarity is the use of objective modalities, where both newspapers have a tendency to make interpretations and speculations as fact.

During the period of occupation of Norway between the years 1940-1945 the National Lutheran Church took the responsibility of supporting the Norweigans in their ideological battle against the Nazis. This was a period named Holdningskampen in Norwegian history. One person to remember was Eivind Berggrav, bishop in Oslo diocese. He was the one responsible for the theological document of importance Kirkens Grunn that became important as a document against the Nazis and the small percentage of Christians that related to the naziinspired-church. Berggrav was also one of the founders of Den Midlertidlige Kirkeledelsen, the organisation responsible for the non-nazified churches.
