The aim of this essay was to gain a deeper understanding about how school employees interpret and practice school law regarding cyber-bullying that occurs between pupils on the internet. To examine this we used a qualitative method. We completed eight interviews with five teachers, one headmaster, one school welfare officer and one special educationist. These eight school employees were from four different high schools. In our interviews we found that the school employees thought it was difficult to define different concepts within the school law such as in association with the occupation and offensive behaviour which prohibits them from interpreting the school law in the same way.

I denna dag börjar många spelutbildningar växa fram i hela landet, så som i Karlshamn, Visby och Kramfors. Trots denna tillväxt finns det nästan ingen akademisk forskning i ämnet speldesign. Detta gör att hjulet i många fall tvingas återuppfinnas om och om igen.

Syftet är att undersöka hur den svenska romantiken används och uppfattas av svensk­lärare i gymnasieskolan. Studien har genomförts genom kvalitativa intervjuer med verk­sam­ma gymnasielärare i svenska. Forskningsfrågorna är hur lärarna arbetar med och uppfattar den svenska romantiken i svenskundervisningen samt hur lärarna ser på hur epoken berörs i styrdokumenten.Undersökningen visar att arbete med den svenska romantiken främst sker med ut­gångspunkt i en kulturell bildningstradition och genom kronologiska litterära epokar­beten, där tidsbristen är en avgörande faktor för begränsningen av undervisningens volym och upplägg­ning. Det framkommer även att det finns ett värde i att knyta an till elevernas värld och skapa liv och association i undervisningen för att öka elevernas en­gagemang. Därför är val av litteratur avgörande för att skapa engagemang och väcka intresse.

The development of technology and the mechanization in the Swedish forestry has during the last 60 years resulted in depopulation of the country side and due to that the amount of distance forest owners has increased. Therefore the forest companies need to make some adjustments in order to keep the distance forest owners as customers and to attract new ones. The purpose of this essay was to examine and analyze the distance forest owners satisfaction with Södras service offering and quality of service and further develop some proposals for action. A web-based survey was sent out to 634 distance forests owners in Stockholm, Sweden, all members of Södra. 269 respondents participated in the survey and of them, 27 did also participate in a follow-up telephone interview.

This is an essay about journalism and the ethical norms of journalism. Four famous cases have been analyzed; Watergate, News of the World, Joy Rahman and Bill Clinton. When analyzing we used the theories of Denis McQuail and the ethical guidelines of the Swedish Journalist Association. We have also used the ideas of utilitarianism to analyze the chosen cases.We aimed to analyze the roles of the journalists involved and found that the ethical norms are customizable to each and every case. In the Watergate-case the journalists act somewhat in contrast to the ethical guidelines but do so in order to favor the public, which makes it approvable.

Syftet var att i Ystads kommun, bland samtliga (n=329) elever i skolår nio, undersöka elevers Känsla av sammanhang. Vidare syftade undersökningen till att studera om det fanns några associationer mellan elevernas Kasamnivå och deras betyg i ämnena matematik samt idrott och hälsa. Ett delsyfte var att jämföra elevernas Kasamnivå på de tre undersökta skolorna. Undersökningen skulle också fungera som en del i Ystads kommuns kvalitetsgranskning. Enkät användes som empirisk insamlingsmetod och det insamlade materialet har bearbetats statistiskt i datorprogrammet Excel.

ABSTRACTSegregation is more and more common in the Swedish society, especially in those suburbs called ?miljonprogramsförorter? which are characterized as grey and boring districts with low status. These suburbs are often mentioned in the media and the public associate them with immigrants, problems and crimes. Kungsmarken in Karlskrona is one of these suburbs and the purpose of this essay was to compare the media image with the images local participants had of Kungsmarken. The questions I brought up were how media was describing Kungsmarken, how this image has contributed to the low status of Kungsmarken, and if this image was reflecting the local participants? images.

Foot rot is a severe claw disease which occurs among sheep and goats in most parts of the world, with outbreaks in hot and humid weather. It is a contagious bacterial infection caused by Dichelobacter nodosus in association with Fusobacterium necrophorum. Foot rot has a negative impact on both animal welfare and economy.This thesis presents how Australia, Nepal, Norway, Switzerland, Great Britain, Sweden and Uruguay handle foot rot. In the selection of countries the focus was on countries that have control- or eradication programs against foot rot. There are differences in the climate, animal husbandry practices, animal welfare and economic resources in the countries that are presented.

Detta är en studie av sex läroböcker i matematik för gymnasiet ur ett jämnställhetsperspektiv. Läroböckerna är utgivna av olika förlag och vänder sig till olika elevgrupper. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i läroplanens mål om jämställdhet. Böckerna är studerade i tre olika nivåer. Första nivån är en mer ytlig betraktelse av själva layouten och bilder, i andra nivån har kringtexter studerats och den tredje nivån själva problemuppgifterna.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the process of overtraining syndrome as a part of development in sports and careers. It is based on theories about overtraining syndrome and athlete career transitions. This work is about silage contaminated with slugs (Arion lusitanicus). The hypothesis was: Do slugs affect the nutritional value and hygiene quality of silage? During the winter season 2007/2008 silages were discarded in big amounts due to the contamination of slugs. Both the Swedish Farmer Association (LRF) and the National Veterinary Institute (SVA) received phone calls from farmers and animal owners about contaminated silage. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and SVA decided to initiate this project as a master thesis.
