This paper discusses if Margin of Appreciation is compatible with the idea of universal human rights. Through the case of Negative freedom of Association in Sweden, it studies the phenomenon that Giorgio Agamben has called the State of exception.The questions that are discussed and answered are 1) How does the rights theories of Jack Donnelly and Ronald Dworkin relate to Margin of appreciation, and 2) How has Margin of appreciation been applied in cases concerning the negative freedom of Association in Sweden, in the European court for human rights. These questions and answers are then used in the discussion on how Margin of appreciation affects the concept of universal human rights. .

In supporting an efficient way to gather and develop contact information for the Uppsala Association of Technology Physicist alumni, it is crucial to have in place an adequate and user-friendly system allowing the continuous collection and storage of such contact information. This can achieved by the creation of a website where alumni can enter information about themselves and where such information in turn is stored in a database. A database containing relevant tables has been developed in MySQL. In utilizing phpMyAdmin, the programming language PHP and Web Server Apache, a fully functional website to be included on the Association's website has been created..

This thesis is based on a market survey sent to the passive members of Södra skogsägarna within the scope of practice of Vimmerby. A member of Södra skogsägarna is considered passive if the member not has delivered timber to the Association during the past five years. The purpose of this thesis was to obtain as much information as possible about the forest owners, to be able to interpret why the member did not choose to deliver their timber to the Association. The survey was worked out in close collaboration with Södra skogsägarna to answer this question. The responses indicate that economic returns are important to the individual landowner. The price of timber is most important in a timber business and the majority of forest owners want to have a personal meeting if you can choose how you wish to be contacted by the inspector.

This thesis discuss the matter of non-profit-making Associations as a self regulatory technique out of a theoretical concept of power. The object for the study is the non-profit-making Association Ditt Nya Hageby, which work in the neigborhood of Hageby, a suburb to Norrköping. In the study the Association is placed in a contemporary postmodern social context and analyzed through semi- structured qualitative interviews, accordingly to hermeneutical method, with five active members of the Association as informants. The Association consists of members who lives in the neighborhood. Together with a hired organizer they realizes their own ideas in to projects which unquestionably improves the social and physical enviroment in Hageby.

There are a large number of studies on colour and its influence on human feelings, but thereare only a few studies on the Association between feelings and colour combinations. Thisstudie investigates the Association between colour combinations consisting of three equallysized colours and the feelings they convey. The methodology used in this studie follows theinstructions from the Nippon Colour & Design Research Institute (NCD) in Japan, NCD havestudied consumer psychology towards colour and colour combinations for several decades.This study used semantically differential scales to evaluate existing colour combinations fromNCD to descriptive adjectives and creation of new colour combinations to explore therelationship between colour combinations and conveyed feelings. A total of 69 peopleparticipated in the tests. The main conclusions formed by this study are: (1) the feelingsconnected with the colour combinations differ partly between the Swedish population and theNCD and (2) the Swedish population have similar feeling Associations to most colourcombinations, except for trend dependent adjectives such asmodern, cool etc.

EKHO - The Ecumenical Association for Christian LGBTQ people has existed in Swedensince the 1970's second half. The movement had its ups and downs throughout the years. Inthis essay, I will examine what happened when the movement was formed and how thefirst period developed. By examining EKHO Stockholm´s magazine EKHO-bladet my task isto describe the story from when the first EKHO Association was formed until the EKHO organizations of Sweden joined together and formed the National Association, Riks EKHO. My second issue is to look into which role EKHO has played for the development in LGBTQ-issues for the Church of Sweden by analyzing documents from within the church concerning these matters.

Background/aims: Extensive studies have found an Association between parent - adolescent relationships and adolescents' alcohol use. However, only a few studies have been carried out in Sweden. Also, few studies have focused on 17-19 year olds or binge drinking. The aim of this study is to examine whether there is an Association between perceived parent - youth relationship and binge drinking among 17-19 year olds in Stockholm, Sweden. Theory: Social Development Model is a risk-focused prevention strategy which emphasizes the importance of social units, such as the family.

In the western world, strokes are the third most common cause of death, hitting mainly the elderly population. Smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes and overweight are known risk factors for causing strokes. Previous studies show that an increased level of particulate matter, PM, is also related to an increased number of strokes. The population in this study consists of patients over 65 years old who live in Malmö. Levels of particulate matter were measured from October 2004 to April 2005 at a central outdoor monitoring site in Malmö.

During the spring of 2013 we developed a visual identity for Jönköping Bandy, a bandy Association in Jönköping, which was founded in 1947.Jönköping Bandy?s main problem was the low interest for the Association by the local people. The Association also had problems with the economy, which made it hard for them to merchandise themselves.In Jönköping, there were a lot of sport Associations, and therefore, it was difficult to find sponsors. One way to help the Association, was to create a good visual identity for them. A visual identity that would reflect on the proper values of the Association.The intention was: ?Through graphical design, we want to convey Jönköping Bandy to a larger amount of people, and get increased knowledge in graphical idiom.? and was torn apart into these three questions:What core values does Jönköping Bandy have, and how can we convey them through the visual identity?Which visual materials does Jönköping Bandy need?How do other teams in Allsvenskan Södra merchandise themselves through their websites?The work began with a study of relevant theoretical literature, with focus on graphical design.

The future of the forest owners? Associations are intimately coupled to the development in family forestry. Forecasts have been made that predicts that the number of forest properties for sale on the open market will increase as the interest among the children of the property owners is considered to decrease. The Associations are also affected by continuing individualism in the society which may affect attitudes to as well as interest in membership. The objective of this study was to study the attitudes among grown-up children of members in a forest owners Association towards overtaking the forest property as well as membership in a forest owners Association.

Introduktion: Övervikt och fetma är ett ökande hälsoproblem i världen. Karies är en väl utbredd sjukdom globalt. Både karies, övervikt och fetma är multifaktoriella sjukdomar som har kostvanor och socioekonomi som gemensamma riskfaktorer. Världshälsoorganisationen (WHO) har därför tagit fram strategier i försök att förebygga och kontrollera karies och viktökning bland barn. Syfte: Att beskriva kariesprevalensen hos barn i åldrarna 2-12 år med övervikt och fetma. Frågeställningar: Vilken är kariesprevalensen hos barn med övervikt och fetma jämfört med normalviktiga? Metod: Litteraturstudien bygger på insamlad data från vetenskaplig litteratur publicerad 2007- 2014. Resultat: Nio av 16 studier visade att barn med övervikt och fetma hade högre kariesprevalens än normalviktiga barn, medan sju artiklar inte kunde påvisa någon statistiskt signifikant Association.
