Near Field Communication (NFC) is a short range wireless communication technology that enables data exchange between devices. NFC is used in many different areas, from subway tickets to authentication systems. This paper presents possible security threats to Near Field Communication and documented attacks that have been used to target various NFC protocols. Weaknesses in different NFC protocols will be presented and suggestions on how to counter certain weaknesses will be discussed. This master thesis has been performed at Sectra Communications AB in Linköping where they manufacture electronic encryption devices. In cryptology it is essential that an eavesdropper cannot find the plain text. To assure that a system is safe, all devices are thoroughly examined so that they don?t emit any secret information, so called Compromising Emanations (CE). This is done by comparing the secret signal with measured signals on the screen of an oscilloscope, a process that is very time consuming and furthermore, the risk of missing compromising emanations is high.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyse the perceptions that ten 12-15 yearold pupils with special educational need, who had been assigned a personal computer, have about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the learning process. Data was collected by personal interviews and observations. Sociocultural perspective and phenomenographic research approach were used as theoretical and methodological frameworks in analyzing and understanding the result. The major conclusions were that most respondents perceived the computer as beneficial assistive technology for learning, but some felt singled out by having a computer to assist in learning. Students had various opportunities to succeed in using their tool depending on e.g.

Studien har fokus på läs- och surfplattans funktioner som kan vara en möjlighet att hjälpa personer med läsning. Uppsatsens experiment beprövar en redan etablerad metod, läsa och lyssna samtidigt, genom att sätta samman ett antal funktioner och tekniker som finns idag i en enhet. Vi har undersökt om man kan öka läshastigheten och läsförståelsen hos dyslektiker med hjälp av sådan teknik på en läs/surfplatta. Resultatet visar en trend på att metoden fungerar.

Antalet personer med rörelsehinder förväntas öka i takt med att allt fler människor lever längre med sin funktionsnedsättning. För att öka självständigheten hos de rörelsehindrade måste nya innovativa hjälpmedel tas fram och redan befintliga hjälpmedel vidareutvecklas.Idén till projektet uppkom då en av projektdeltagarna under en längre tid har sett sin rullstolsburna familjemedlem hitta på egna lösningar vid matlagning på spisen i ett ickehandikappanpassat kök. Huvudsyftet med projektet har därför varit att lösa de problem som rullstolsanvändare kan ha vid matlagning på spisen, till exempel att de inte når eller ser. Målet har varit att ta fram en fungerande prototyp för att kunna utföra användartester. Det här för att säkerställa förbättrad ergonomi och möjlighet till ökad självständighet hosrullstolsanvändaren.Projektet resulterade i en användarvänlig fungerande prototyp.

As a part of Göteborg Energi?s work towards a smarter electric grid, the company has chosen to investigate the possibilities of automation in their middle voltage grid. In Europe, there are example cases where these technologies already are installed which many articles on the CIRED conference 2011 proved. Netcontrol Oy in Finland has, together with Tekla, created an automated SCADA system that Vattenfall in Finland today uses. The grid mainly consists of 10 kV open loop fed city grid and this automation is mainly designed for this type of grid.

In this study I participated in an innovative project that aimed to bring new life and use to the old fashioned patient journal by giving it a visual representation through the use of an avatar. I aimed to study the effects of regulators connected with the patient journal as a source of information for the innovative project.

Rollatorn är ett sådant hjälpmedel, som är vanligt förekommande för äldre med gångsvårigheter, som förskrivs för att träna, förebygga eller kompensera. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur äldre rollatoranvändare upplever sin förmåga att använda och förstå sig på rollatorn i dagliga aktiviteter. Fyra äldre rollatoranvändare deltog i studien. Semistrukturerade intervjuer användes som metod.
