This essay has it purpose to view the assessment and grading in physical education in the Swedish school. Recently published reports from skolverket prove that boys have higher grades in the physical education than girls. Some mean that the reason of this is that the teachers don´t follow the curriculum. The problems we chose to examine are how much do teachers know how to use and connect the curriculum to their teaching? How much of the information and criterion in the curriculum do the teachers use to grade their pupils? And most importantly we wanted to examine why boys gets higher grades then girls, when the curriculum doesn?t seem to suit boys any better than girls.We have interviewed teachers in a certain district and our study shows that the teachers have good knowledge about the curriculum.

SWITCH- Swedish Intelligibility test for children, is a test thatmeasures intelligibility of children's speech through repetition of singlewords. The test is computer generated and consists of 1000 word listsrandomly selected for each assessment. The purpose of this study was toexamine the equivalence, reliability and validity in the word lists. Word listswere tested on ten children with typical language development (N group)and ten children with speech deviation (T group). The children were audiorecorded when they repeated two lists.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka och jämföra hur klassrumsundervisning bedrivs i två svenska och två finska skolor för att finna möjliga förklaringar till PISA-undersökningens resultat (Programme for International Student Assessment). Syftet besvaras med hjälp av följande frågeställning: Hur och till vad utnyttjas lektionstiden till? Hur upplevs det allmänna klassrumsklimatet? Hur ser ledarskapet i klassrummet ut?MetodDe metoder som använts i studien är löpande och på förhand kategoriserade observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer. Totalt har 24 klassrumsobservationer, tio lärarintervjuer och två intervjuer med rektorer genomförts vid två högstadieskolor i Storstockholm och vid två högstadieskolor i Helsingfors. Det som observerades var; lektionsinnehållet och tiden lagd på olika moment, elevernas självständighet, det disciplinära klimatet och relationen mellan lärare och elev samt klassrumsklimatet.

Because of this, the strategy also branch out to other industries, but the question is if it?s as successful there? Introduction: 1 November 2010  came the amendment about the audit requirement into force. The amendment concerned only micro-enterprises. The most common form offinancing for micro-enterprises are bank loans, therefore the banks play a major role in the business and wellness of micro-enterprises.Purpose: Purpose of this paper is to examine if the credit assessment has been affected by the removal of the audit requirement for micro-enterprises.Method: This study will be conducted by a qualitative study in the form of interviews. Five interviews were conducted, with four respondents from the large banks and    one respondent from Almi Företagspartner.Conclusion: All respondents agreed that the audit is seen as a mark of quality, some lenders will continue to request it from the micro-enterprise while other lenders look at other factors such as ownership, relationship or business concept..

In this comparative study, intelligibility (as measured by SWINT; SwedishIntelligibility Assessment) and self-rated communicative ability (as measuredby SOK; a self-report questionnaire concerning communication) were investigatedin 29 young adults with repaired cleft lip and palate (CLP) and in 50 age-matchedcontrols. The purpose of the study was to investigate if the outcome of these measuresdiffered between groups and/or with regard to sex, and also to identify possiblecorrelations between SOK and SWINT. Results show that young adults withrepaired CLP had a more positive attitude towards their communicative ability thancontrols, as did men with repaired CLP compared to male controls. Intelligibilitydid not differ between the two groups. A correlation between degree of intelligibilityand self-rated communicative ability was found in young adults with repairedCLP.

SyfteEtt av syftena med beskriven studie är att undersöka om och hur läsförmågan på en skola sjunkit. Ett annat syfte är att undersöka vad detta fått och har haft för pedagogiska konsekvenser. Uppsatsen fokuserar på de pedagogiska konsekvenserna. TeoriUppsatsens undersökning utgår ifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet, och tar stöd av Säljös och Vygotskijs teorier om lärande, det vill säga lärande i det inlärningsklimat elever skapar tillsammans i klassrummet. Om elevers läsförmåga förändras, förändras också den sociala miljö som karaktäriserar inlärningsklimatet.

SCA is the largest private owned forest owner in Sweden, with an ownership of 2 million hectares of productive forestland. To manage the planning of such large areas and to fit the traditional organization structure of a Swedish forest company, the planning approach is subdivided into three stages; strategic, tactical and operational. The strategic part, based on a statistic sample of stands, returns a harvest level estimate which should then be implemented at actual sites in the tactical part. This procedure can lead to incompatible solutions as the strategic solution is not necessarily possible to translate into actual sites in the tactical plan. This paper is an assessment of whether the Nordic countries constitute an optimum currency area (OCA) or not. Hodrick Prescott-­?filtered data of real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and rate of employment are used to investigate the similarity of business cycles between the target countries through a series of correlation analysis with Sweden as the base reference country and also by using a linear regression model. Additionally there is an evaluation of trade volume and labour mobility between the countries. Our results indicate that Iceland had the least similar business cycles within the Nordic countries and that the area should therefore possibly comprise Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. .

Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur resonerar lärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan kring bedömning och betygssättning? Hur har lärare i idrott och hälsa i särskolan dokumenterat sina elevers utveckling med Lpo 94 som ramverk/ styrdokument? Med vilka verktyg/på vilka sätt har elevernas kunskaper bedömts med Lpo 94 som ramverk/ styrdokument samt hur uppfattar lärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan Lgr 11? MetodIntresseförfrågningar skickades ut till ca 50 aktiva idrottslärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan, år 7-10. Åtta lärare svarade positivt till medverkan varav två av dessa, efter vidare kontakt, sållades bort på grund av att de var verksamma i annan skolform än grundsärskolan.

Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common endocrinologic disorders among dogs. The disorder has a complex background, and successful treatment requires a well-functioning co-operation between pet owners and the veterinarian. The purpose of this study is to investigate the owners? perspective of diabetic treatments offered, and to estimate expected length of survival post-insulin therapy. The research findings are based on a survey mailed to 77 pet owners, whose dogs were diagnosed with diabetes between 1999 and 2003 at the small animal clinic of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The median survival for the dogs that underwent insulin treatment was 31 months, i.e.

The primary purpose of this paper is to find the determinants of first-day returns on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Our research will cover the 1996 ? 2004 periods. Our secondary purpose is intended to find a profitable trading strategy with regard to future IPOs on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. By using regression analysis, focusing on company specific factors and the IPO process, we hope to find a function exhibiting statistical significance, determining future first-day returns from which construction of a profitable trading strategy will be possible.
