The equality principle, enshrined in the Swedish Constitution, states that everyone is equal before the law. However, previous research indicates that judgements are influenced by conceptions of gender and sex. The purpose of this study is to examine how women and men are portrayed in judgements regarding assault crimes. This study will be conducted through the lens of social constructivism, gender theories by Judith Butler and Yvonne Hirdman and the theory of ideal victims and perpetrators. This study is a document analysis based on 28 assault judgements, involving 14 female and 14 men defendants decided by the district court in 2024.

The aim of this study is to examine how one can understand the experiences that social workers within the social service's have of children who have committed sexual assault against other children, and the social workers? thoughts about the choice of actions and the family involvement in those actions. The study has a qualitative character. Information was obtained through interviews with social workers within two Swedish counties, and the analysis of the results was based on earlier research findings as well as theoretical aspects, such as systemic theory and salutogenesis.Regarding the actions taken for the target group, the social workers have, in many ways, a systemic perspective as they emphasize elements within the child as well as within the family. It is also shown that the collaboration with other authorities affects the choice of actions, and that it is important to involve the entire family in any interventions, so that the effect of those interventions may last over time.

I Försvarsmakten betyder det att sjukvårdaren bär en automatkarbin 5. Den här uppsatsen kommer att undersöka hur tre olika vapensystem passar in i rollen som huvudbeväpning på en sjukvårdsgrupp. Undersökningen visar att en PDW (Personal Defence Weapon) skulle vara ett bra alternativ till befintlig beväpning..

The purpose of this study was to, by using thematic analysis, investigate how psychologists experience and are affected by treating sexually assaulted individuals, if and how they use different coping strategies to maintain their own wellbeing and how they are affected by the organization. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight psychologists working in a clinic dedicated for patients with history of sexual assault. The analysis identified one general theme and four themes. The general theme Consciousness and active choices minted the other themes. Participants' awareness of their own and colleagues? health supplied conditions for inner reflection, which along with concern for potential negative effects resulted in active choices for mental health and work environment.

I dagsläget finns det ett antal tekniska lösningar på hur man kan lagra ett störreantal patroner i ett magasin. Ser man till patroner av typen .22 Long Rifle, somär världen mest sålda typ av patron, finns det inga perfekta lösningar. De ärgenerellt osmidiga och tar upp stor volym. Ett av problemen är patronens form,där en bakre kant försvårar lagring av en större mängd patroner.I detta projekt har en ny modell av ett magasin tagit form. Genom en idé baseradpå ett tidigare patent, formades ett magasin med en kapacitet att lagra över 50patroner inom en begränsad volym.

Sedan kalla kriget har inte bara omvärlden och föreställningen av motståndaren förändrats utan även reglementenas utformning. I dagsläget används på kompaninivå ett reglemente för alla manöverkompanier, tidigare har det i försvarsmakten funnits reglementen för specifika typer av kompanier. Denna uppsats behandlar vilken påverkan detta har på tydligheten i reglementena.Arbetet syftar till att undersöka tydlighet i föreställningar om infanteriförbandens taktik på kompaninivå idag jämfört med under mitten av kalla kriget i två vägledande instruktioner. Detta för att diskutera artikulering av taktik och dess implikationer på officersutbildning inom försvarsmakten. Den metod som används är kvalitativ textanalys med en komparativ design.

Inom ramen för den mekaniserade bataljonens organisation har ett flertal plutoner blivit tilldelade PSG90 som skarpskyttebeväpning. Frågan är om denna beväpning skapar effekt för förbandet? Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka skarpskyttens roll och beväpningsalternativ inom ramen för den mekaniserade bataljonen.Uppsatsen avsåg att genom en hypotesprovning undersöka om tilldelningen av PSG90 till ett flertal plutoner i den mekaniserade bataljonen skapar ökad effekt för förbandet. Undersökningen krävde en delad frågeställning där först själv begreppet skarpskytt behövde definieras. Därefter krävdes en undersökning av denna definition jämtemot empiri för att etablera eftersökta effekter med skarpskytten.

Våld kan skapa fysiska och psykiska konsekvenser, medföra osäker arbetsmiljö och försämrad omvårdnad. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskors uppfattningar om vilka faktorer som kan ge upphov till våld på akutmottagningar. Metod: Litteraturöversikt baserat på kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat: I resultatet framkom olika faktorer som kan ge upphov till våld, såsom väntetider och stressande arbetsklimat.

Background: Physological abuse consists of threats, harassment, humiliation, telling off, refuse to talk, social isolation, abandonment as well as attitudes that lead to a feeling of insecurity and desperation. Institutional elder abuse is very elusive and an overall picture is still considered missing.Aim: The purpose of this essay was to review psychological abuse within the elderly care.Method: This essay is based on a literature study with systematic search.Result: This article review led to main categories and the result of the study is presented after these. The first ones gives a picture of the kind of psychological abuse that occured within the the elderly care. The second one deals with the possible explanations for psychological abuse within elderly care. The result showed that verbal assault was the most common form of psychological abuse against elderly.

Since criminality started to rise steeply in most western welfare states following the second world war the relationship between welfare support and criminality has been debated. For a period of time thought to be an effective preventive measure against crime welfare support has since from time to time come to be seen by some as ineffective and in some cases even as a contributing factor to the rise in crime. It remains a contested issue as new theories, such as social support theory, which is employed here, attempt to contribute to the understanding of what effects general welfare has on overall crime levels. As a connection which is relatively well-researched in the USA, altough still not yet fully understood, this study strives toward a better understanding by testing the relationship in a swedish context. The relationship might not function in the same way considering that the US is a fundamentally different welfare-regime than Sweden, liberal and social-democratic respectively.Untangling the relationship is attempted by employing a multivariate regressionanalysis on a crosssectional dataset consisting of data from 2012 covering 247 of Swedens total of 290 municipalities.

In 1970 professional boxing became illegal in Sweden and in 2009 the prohibition was removed.Just before both of these changes in the law there were debates in media where people argued forand against ilegalization. In the later debate the focus has shifted from professional boxing toinclude Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) as well. MMA was governed and bound by the same law asprofessional boxing.This purpose of this paper is to compare the debate in 1968-1969 with the debate in 2006. The twodebates resulted in two different outcomes, ilegalization of professional boxing in 1970 and thenlegalization of it 2009. Are there any reason for these differences? What is the reasoning behindthis? By using hegemonic masculinity as a guidance when examining the debates this paper istrying to understand how the discourse have changed over time.

This essay is based on a qualitative study of Swedish high school students? discussions of rape. We have a socialconstructive perspective and use theories of gender and power. The purpose of the study is to acknowledge teenagers? views of rape, sexual relationships and the law.
