AbstractRestless legs syndrome (RLS) är ett kroniskt neurologiskt tillstånd som karakteriseras av en intensiv oro och obehagliga krypningar djupt inne i benen som förekommer i vila. Besvären upplevs som svårast på kvällen och natten och lindras av att man rör på sig. Hos majoriteten av de som lider av RLS förekommer även ofrivilliga periodiska benrörelser i sömn (PLMS) vilket medför täta mikrouppvaknanden. Detta försvårar övergång i djupare sömn vilket kan i sin tur leda till allvarliga sömnstörningar. Man kan dela in RLS i en primär form och en sekundär form beroende på om syndromet kan klarläggas till någon bakomliggande orsak.

HIV/AIDS is a chronic disease that has increased and will continue to increase. Most health care workers will one way or another come into contact with it. The purpose of this literature review was to describe factors contributing to nurses' attitudes towards patients with HIV/AIDS. Sixteen articles were analyzed and quality assessed. I denna litteraturstudie har vi ämnat undersöka vad inkludering innebär, med fokus på elever med autism, asperger syndrom och ADHD. Vi har också undersökt vad effekten blir av att ha elever med dessa diagnoser i det vanliga klassrummet samt sökt strategier för att hjälpa dem. Genom att samla in data från vetenskapliga artiklar har vi nått vårt syfte som vi sedan analyserat utifrån ett specialpedagogiskt perspektiv. Resultatet visar att inkluderad undervisning innebär att alla elever ska undervisas tillsammans och att det är skolans uppgift att möta alla elevers olikheter och anpassas efter olikheterna. Effekterna av den inkluderande undervisningen har visat sig vara både positiva och negativa.

Academic research indicates that critical publicity can have a detrimental effect on brand attitudes. The negative effects have been showed to be buffered by cognitive bias elicited by strong favourable attitudes, commitment, brand certainty and brand identification. The theoretical perspectives have been the theory of street-Level Bureaucracy, social constructivism and Stages of change. The material has been collected through qualitative semi-structured interviews and email-interviews with the social workers. The aim of this study was to examine if the social workers uses their theoretical experiences about their attitudes in their practical work and if their response can raise or reduce the young offenders motivation to change their behaviour. The aim in this thesis is to study what attitude music teachers in Sweden and New Zealand have towards Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in music education and obtain a better understanding of how their attitudes affect the way they use ICT in their teaching. Another intention is to discuss differences and similarities between the teachers´ preferences regarding this issue in the two different countries, and whether it has any effect on teaching. It's a qualitative study based on interviews with music teachers from both countries. Through the answers we can get an impression about how ICT is used in music education, how the curriculum is interpreted when it comes to use ICT in music education and how the teachers' attitudes towards ICT affect the music education. This thesis shows that teachers are positive towards ICT in music education but the attitude, knowledge and the way of using it differs, due to access to technology and different opinions about what is essential in music and what is pedagogical.

The underlying purpose of this study is to see whether a library focused solely on providing literature in other languages than Swedish serves as a unifying, integrating force, or as an agent for division and exclusion. The study focuses on the International Library in Stockholm. The authors have created a profile of the visitors of the selected library, concerning their characteristics, their library habits and their perceptions of the International library. This profile has then been compared with the staff?s perception of the visitors as a group.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur den kommunala verksamheten Bojen kan påverka livskvalitén för familjer som har barn med neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar så som ADHD och Asperger syndrom. Intervjuer har genomförts med ungdomar och föräldrar som är knutna till verksamheten. Därefter har materialet analyserats med hjälp av teoretiska begrepp som KASAM (känsla av sammanhang), socialt stöd/sociala nätverk och empowerment. Resultatet visar på vilken betydelse verksamheten har för den enskilda individens livssituation, samt hur förbättrade förutsättningar kan göra skillnad för ungdomarnas framtid. Exempelvis kan utvecklade färdigheter och rätt verktyg gynna Bojens deltagare för att klara sig även i sociala sammanhang som inte är anpassade till deras svårigheter..

This is a qualitative study conducted in ten interviews, seven of which were over the phone. The interviews were semi-structured and took about twenty minutes for each driver. Data relating to the food choices for one day were collected and questions asked about their attitudes to food and meals were collected simultaneously.

The aim of this study was to investigate which attitudes young men and women at gym have to doping and supplements in Gästrikland. Method: This study is based on a cross sectional study design where a quantitative approach was used by 60 questionnaires which were distributed at different gyms in Gästrikland. Result: It was found that the majority had a relative negative attitude to doping, those who used supplements had a slightly more positive attitude to some of the statements compared with those who did not use supplements. Overall, the results showed a positive attitude to supplements. Compared with previous studies, it was found in the study that a smaller proportion didn?t agree that it is up to each one to use doping substances.
