Syftet med vår studie har varit att undersöka idrottslärares inställningar till, och uppfattningar om, situationer som kan uppstå i mötet mellan religion och idrottsundervisning. För att komma åt vårt syfte samt skapa oss en bild av verkligheten använde vi oss av en kvalitativ metod i form av intervjuer med idrottslärare. Intervjuerna har sedan analyserats och på så vis har vi fått fram det vi anser vara lärarnas uppfattningar och inställningar inom vårt område. Resultatet visade att lärarna inte anser att religion påverkar idrottsundervisningen nämnvärt även om deltagandet till viss del tycks påverkas. Överlag verkar religion ha mindre påverkan på idrottsundervisningen än vad vi inledningsvis, och utifrån vår teoretiska bakgrund, trodde..

Sammanfattning:I studien intervjuas sju religionskunskapslärare angående undervisning om fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion. Studiens utgångspunkt är att fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion kan ses som en del av Sveriges kulturarv. Informanternas utsagor studeras utifrån didaktikens tre översiktliga frågor: undervisningens vad?, hur? och varför? Deras utsagor diskuteras även mot tidigare läromedelsforskning som anknyter till pedagogiska texters framställande av fornskandinavisk religion och samisk religion. Sammantaget diskuteras informanternas utsagor mot utmålad fond.Studien visar att undervisning om religionerna anknyter till både gällande och annalkande nya styrdokuments yttranden om kulturell mångfald och identitet.

Religious phenomena, such as prayer, have more or less always interested and engaged people, but most likely for different purposes. Since the early 20th century, starting notably with Edmund Husserl and especially Martin Heidegger, phenomenologists have taken an interest in understanding and expounding the meaning of religious phenomena. In other words, phenomenology of religion expounds religion, as it were, from within, while science of religion does it from without or externally.When approaching prayer phenomenologically, it shows itself to be a process or structure through which the one praying empty himself in order to be able to receive the valuable presence of the other. The value that is received from the other will also be reflected by the one praying and in that sense effect his surroundings and fellow humans..

This paper deals with how science teachers in the Swedish secondary school choose the content in the education they give to the pupils. What are the reasons for their choices and what do they think of the purpose of science in secondary school? Through interviewing science teachers the investigation shows that there are three different views of how to choose content in the science education: one focuses on the processes of science itself, one integrates the socio-cultural aspects and one emphasizes the interests of the pupils.

The purpose of my study is to examine how four teachers in a pre school believe they relates to and reasons about bilingualism. To be able to realize thisstudy, i proposed three issue following:How do the teachers in kindergarten relate to bilingualism?How do teachers in preschool reason around the work of bilingual children?What do teachers think about the educational environment in relation to language development?.

Research regarding the maintenance of the Sami language shows that the Swedish society has a big influence on the development of the Sami identity and also the maintenance of the Sami language. The assimilation of the Sami language and the traditional Sami religion was forced mainly by the Swedish education form and the Swedish church. In modern times many different forms of Sami identities have been developed due to the scattering of the Sami people, and also because of the urbanization of the Swedish society. The Sami nature religion is still alive in the Sami group, thanks to the mythological stories told and preserved by their oral  tradition. The purpose of this assignment was to make research of how the Sami identity is being presented in three current Swedish books.

Om Little Mosque on the Prairie är mer än bara en komediserie, hur verkar den då för att beskriva det muslimska samfundet och islam? Vilka generaliseringar och fördomar är den tänkt att bekämpa? Med den hermeneutiska metoden som forskningsverktyg tolkade jag de åtta avsnitten i seriens första säsong och kunde därmed identifiera sex olika teman som serieskaparna arbetar med för att nyansera omvärldens bild av muslimer och islam. Slutsatsen blir att Little Mosque on the Prairie framställer islam och dess utövare som en fredlig religion, en mångfacetterad religion, en tolerant religion, en religion i ständig förändring, en alldaglig religion samt en annorlunda religion..

The relationship between fandoms and religion has become an increasingly popular topic to study within the field of the sociology of religion. In previous studies, there have been different views concerning whether or not fandoms should be regarded as religious from a functional perspective. This issue is especially interesting considering the decreasing popularity of traditional religion in some aspects. The aim of this essay is to study how Harry Potter fandoms are described in previous studies. The study aims at discerning both the empirical data and how the data is interpreted. The material in this study consists of three previous studies about the communities centered around Harry Potter fandoms.

This study aims at using discourse analysis to analyze SFI students attitudes to religion and religiosity in an SFI-context. The questions are: How is the discourse constructed and maintained by religion and religiosity of SFI students in an SFI context? How do SFI participants experience that their religion has affected their time at SFI?Using a case study approach, interviews were conducted with a group of SFI students. The results show that the religious discourse in SFI is influenced by the SFI-context and affected based on the current education discourse that exists there. Being able to reflect, evaluate and justify your views is an important part of adult life. Moral education can be a path to develop this knowl-edge; however, it is possible that the moral education gets more obscure when it is not a separate subject. The purpose with this essay is to examine the need of moral education and the presence and the framing of moral education of seven teachers in religion. The purpose is also to analyse where and how the moral education should be included in the curriculum. The survey was conducted through qualitative interviews with a hermeneutic approach.

In the context of world globalization, Sweden has today become a multicultural society, where many different cultures, religions, values and approaches are trying to co-exist. When the Swedish government's integration policy was put into effect, one sought to open the way for a more peaceful coexistence between majority and minority people. The tablet is a new IT-tool which have started to get introduced into school, but research is still missing and especially in the pre-school environment. The purpose with this study is to investigate teachers uptake, how they use the tablet in everyday pedagogy work as well as the organizational conditions that that facilitate and hinders. Through my observations and interviews in a Swedish K-5 school I have found that the teachers find tablets more appealing to use in comparison to computers. These findings are partly supported by Davis et al.?s (1989) TAM-theory who considers there to be three types of aspects that affect the way individuals adapt to technology.

Sammanfattning Syftet med detta arbete är att försöka reda ut huruvida de tre läromedlen jag valt att analysera lever upp till vad Lpo-94 har som mål. Jag har fått fram resultaten genom att göra en analys av tre läromedel i ämnet religion för år 4-6. Två av läromedlen, Religion och liv (1986) samt Religion (1993) är båda böcker skrivna innan Lpo-94 började gälla, den tredje boken Religion (2005) Den tredje boken är en referens till de båda andra böckerna. Detta då den är skriven efter Lpo-94 och borde då sålunda kunna ge eleverna de verktyg och kunskaper som efterfrågas i Lpo-94 samt att den kommer att analyseras med samma verktyg och på samma sätt som de andra böckerna. According to a recently published governmental report, as well as international research, not only structural aspects like time and financial compensation are crucial to whether teachers continue their development. Encouragement from the principal and colleagues are also a contributing factor; and not to mention those factors combined.There is a world wide shared consensus among educational researchers claiming that one very important piece in creating a successful school is having a well-educated and updated staff.
