LÀrares och kulturarbetares syn pÄ kultur, estetik och kunskap
The National Arts Council[1] has made an evaluation on obstacles and success factors for the interaction between culture and school. In the evaluation report they concluded that teachers and cultural workers have different views on culture and knowledge which creates confusion in their interaction. Thus I became interested to investigate teachers and cultural workers views on culture, aesthetics, and the knowledge that they think the students / children / young people should get from culture and aesthetics. This work is based on qualitative interviews with four teachers and four cultural workers. I compare their views with each other and link it to different research perspectives on culture and aesthetics in school to get an understanding of the similarities and differences in their approach, and what implications it can have in the school?s learning processes. In this work, from a didactic point of view, I found that when the teachers and cultural workers are talking about culture, the why-perspective differs.
Den kompetente lÀraren - Yttre och inre ramfaktorer och deras inverkan pÄ undervisning
Title: The competent teacher-external and internal frameworks and their influence on educational praxis. This thesis is about what kind of approach a teacher (may) consider when he is facing parameters that he can not do anything about, in this case represented by political, educational och social frameworks. One of the things a teacher can do to adapt to the situation is to see what possibilities he has to develop and expand his topic. The study is built on action research and was carried out during a nine months period on an upper secondary school in Malmö, Sweden. The object of reasearch is myself as a teacher and in my result I describe how various educational situations were handled.
Samarbeten mellan kultur och nÀringsliv : interaktion bortom sponsringsbegreppet
Samtida diskursiva skeenden som en ekonomisering av det kulturella fÀltet och en estetisering av det ekonomiska fÀltet kan förklara att nya samarbetsformer mellan kultur och nÀringsliv möjliggjorts. Samarbetena har dock Ànnu inte konceptualiserats. Genom att vÀnda blicken bort frÄn sponsringsbegreppet och istÀllet förstÄ samarbetenas dynamik skapad i samarbetet per se, möjliggörs ett perspektiv, dÀr förstÄelsen samarbetenas dynamik tillÄts införliva social interaktion och utveckling av attityder, vÀrderingar, trosförestÀllningar och mÄlsÀttningar. Utbytesrelationen kan dÄ förknippas med andra former av utbyten Àn ekonomiska transaktioner, dÀribland kunskapsutbyte och lÀrande.Denna studie som syftar till att förstÄ samarbeten mellan kultur och nÀringsliv har utvecklats runt tvÄ empiriska undersökningar av samarbeten som uppfattades gÄ bortom sponsringsbegreppet. Fallstudierna utgjordes av samarbetet mellan S-Lab, en forskningsgrupp inom Telia och realtidskonstnÀrerna i Splintermind samt projektet ?Hör upp Stockholmare!?, i vilket konst- och designhögskolan Konstfack samarbetade med Gallerian, ett köpcentrum i centrala Stockholm.Tillsammans med tidigare teori och utvidgad förstÄelse, har tolkningen av de studerade fallen inneburit en studie i syfte att förstÄ samarbetenas dynamik.
RocksÄng - Fem sÄngpedagogers erfarenheter av den kvinnliga rösten
Rock singing - five vocal teachersÂŽ experience of the female voice.The purpose of this study is to find out what different vocal teachers have to say about rock singing and the female singing voice. The method I have used to gather information is a phenomenographically inspired qualitative interview. The study begins with a few thoughts about my interest in rock singing, followed by a short overview about other research and literature that has been published on the subject. I have interviewed five vocal teachers in this study. All of them with many years experience of singing, both singing themselves and teaching professionally.
KonstnÀrliga metoder för mÀnniskor med funktionsnedsÀttningar
Title: Artistic methods for persons with dysfunctions.The idea to the paper was born in my work, as a pedagogue, with young persons with dysfunctions. My pedagogic method is eurhythmics but I wanted to examine in what other ways you could work with artistic expression in similar areas such as circus, dance therapy and psychodrama. These areas were chosen because they have components that are interrelated, which I find very interesting. Mind and body are considered from a holistic point of view. The purpose of this paper is to bring about a better understanding of how persons with dysfunctions respond to various artistic teaching methods.

The purpose of this study was to examine how four different choir conductors work with children's and youths' individual voices during choir rehearsal. Further aims of this essay are to shed light upon relevant research within the topic. I used a qualitative method of researching observations with low structure and structured interviews.

Estetik och funktion? En studie av tillkomstprocessen kring tvÄ svenska folkbiblioteksbyggnader.
The purpose of this essay is to study the coming into being of two newly built public libraries in Sweden, Malmö public library and Linköping public library. In both cases, the architect was appointed through a competition. We have examined the degree of importance that one has put on the buildings functionality and aesthetics, respectively. Furthermore we have studied how the cooperation between library staff and the architects has worked, and finally we have studied to which degree the parties involved think that the interests of the users has been taken into concern. The first main chapter of the report is an overview of the literature found on the subject where we present theories on library architecture used in Sweden as well as abroad.

Den svenska MMA marknaden Àr idag under hÄrd kritik. MÄnga mÀnniskor menar att det endast Àr kriminella som hÄller pÄ med kamsport och att de tÀvlingar som arrangeras Àr ren brutalitet. Trots det hÀr sÄ har vi idag vÀldigt stora aktörer pÄ den svenska marknaden som inte bara klarar sig utan Àven vÀxer. Men organisationerna har fortfarande den allmÀnna opinionen emot sig. Företagen försöker att framstÄ som sÄ sportsliga och godartade som möjligt och de menar att MMA inte Àr vÄld utan en idrott.

The purpose of this thesis is to, based on interviews and document studies, critically discuss how the introduction of kickboxing in Physical Education (PE) could affect gender equality in society. Based on a queer feminist and norm critical perspective on the prevailing teaching of PE, which, despite official efforts to challenge and modernize PE, persists in reproducing gender norms by e.g. spending 75% of class time on ball games. The hypothesis is that girls accessing violence (empowerment) through a bodily awareness in the form of kickboxing, positively would challenge the power imbalance that gender norms create. Girls are brought up, even today, in accordance with gender norms arguing against girls/women wanting to use their bodies as powerful tools to set limits.
PÄ spaning efter den tid som Àr
Jag Àr skÄdespelare utbildad vid Statens Scenskola i Malmö 1976-1979. Sedan 1979 har jag varit kontinuerligt yrkesverksam, mestadels inom institutionsteatrar men ocksÄ inom fria teatergrupper, Boulevardteatern och Moderna dansteatern. Sedan 1988 har jag varit anstÀlld pÄ Stockholms Stadsteater och dÀr har jag frÀmst arbe-tat pÄ Unga Klara, en sjÀlvstÀndig grupp inom Stadsteatern med egen konstnÀrlig ledare, Suzanne Osten. Att stÀndigt vara i produktion eller pÄ uppdrag in i ny produktion har gjort det svÄrt att hinna med att reflektera kring arbetet. Till slut blir det en stor hög av erfarenhet och erövringar som utvecklas eller kanske faller i glömska.

The globalization of political and economic processes is a growing moral concern for theologians and political philosophers alike. My thesis aims to outline, analyze, and compare church studies of globalization with global theories of justice.To do this, I draw upon recent studies of globalization made by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Lutheran World Federation (LWF). The WCC and LWF are two global reaching church organizations. They have a common aim of uniting churches for ecumenical dialogue and are involved in social, economic, political, and ecological questions. The WCC and LWF analyze globalization by applying biblical and theological principles from the Christian tradition.
Att leva av produktionsmusik - möjligheter och förutsÀttningar
Title: To make a living by library music; Opportunities and prerequisites. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how a music producer or composer can achieve placement of his or her music in commercials, TV-shows, computer games, and other media. What is required to make a living by composing and producing music today? This is a qualitative study made by interviewing six persons, who all in some way work with this kind of music. The result shows that in order to reach out and place the music, an active net working, a deep knowledge in music production, in a wide range of music genres, is crucial.

Kör sÄ det ryker! - En studie om prestationsÄngest i samband med ensembleundervisning
Title: Go for it! - A study of anxiety in relation to students performing in ensemble class.This study discusses anxiety in relation to students in ensemble performance. The expectations on musicians are extremely high and demanding. They are expected to perform to the maximum of their ability despite both physical and mental pressure. I present in this study the result of the interviews I have performed with three students at Swedish Academies of Music. The study shows that all of the students included are in one way or the other suffering from anxiety in relation to performance.
