This study shows how to plan a pond with an ecosystem which although it will have turtles living in it will not need to be cared. I will also demonstrate how this pond would be designed to work in the natural landscape on Mallorca. The background to the study is that I am interested to investigate how plants that we in Sweden are using as indoor plants are growing in their natural landscape and how to build a land-scape with them. The study highlights different cleaning-systems that can be used to clean a pond in a natural way. A comparison will be made between the conditions of an exterminated turtle-species which will live in this environment and a species that is easier to care for.

Vår kandidatuppsats tar avstamp i Henry Jenkins teorier om mediekonvergens, Pierre Lévys teorier om kollektive intelligens och Pierre Bourdieus teorier om det sociala rummet. Syftet med denna uppsats är var att undersöka hur en person, med hjälp av en blogg, kan ta sig in i dagens medielandskap och skapa sig ett utrymme. För att undersöka detta valde vi att utgå från Melika Zakariaes blogg, Du Vet Inte. Vi gjorde även en intervju med Melika för att få en så övergripande bild som möjligt av hennes arbete med bloggen. I analysen har vi använt oss av Bourdieus teorier om fält, kapital och habitus som verktyg för att se hur hon tar plats i det nya medielandskapet.Det vi kom fram till i vår undersökning var att Melika, i och med dagens medielandskap, lättare kan skapa sig en viktig position och bli en inflytelserik person i hiphopfältet.

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly gained traction in the education sector, with tools such as ChatGPT often highlighted as potential support in teachers? daily work. At the same time, the technology raises important questions about how its use should be organized and what responsibilities school leaders hold. The aim of this study is to deepen the understanding of how generative AI is implemented in school organizations, focusing on the strategic work of school leaders and how this is experienced by teachers. The study is based on a qualitative study, comprising interviews with 14 school leaders and teachers in a county in western Sweden.

It is now increasingly common for organisations to work actively with HR issues. Furthermore, it is a constant top priority for organisations to remain profitable. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether so called soft HR values, as manager?s communication skills, has an actual impact on hard values in terms of costs for the organisation. Leadership is largely characterised by emotional communication, which together with personnel costs were the main focus of the research.

Abstract Persson, M (2008). Att arbeta med multipla intelligenserna i praktiken. Malmö: Lärarutbildningen: Malmö högskola Examensarbetet handlar om barns väg att inhämta kunskap på olika sätt och hur undervisningen i skolan kan påverka detta. Syftet med undersökningen är att studera hur undervisningen i en skola som arbetar utifrån Howard Gardners teori om de multipla intelligenserna kan se ut i praktiken. Genom observationer under tre olika arbetspass samt intervjuer av lika många lärare i skolan söker jag svaret på frågorna som undersökningen utgår ifrån. Hur kan en lektion planerad utifrån de multipla intelligenserna se ut? Hur ser lärarna på undervisningen? Vid observationstillfällena framgår framförallt arbetsmetoden med arbetsschema, vilka utgår ifrån de ursprungliga sju intelligenserna.

Vi avser studera operativa team inom poliskåren, vad som gör dessa effektiva samt den kontext i vilken de existerar. Vi vill också undersöka huruvida eventuell diskrepans föreligger mellan teori och praktik inom området teameffektivitet. För insamlandet av empirisk data för denna uppsats har vi tillämpat en kvalitativ ansats. Vår huvudsakliga metod för datainhämtning är personliga intervjuer. En dramatisk ökning av långtidssjukskrivning p. g. a. psykisk ohälsa, ofta stress, har skett de senaste åren. Sedan 2005 finns diagnosen utmattningssyndrom (UMS).

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur fyra uttryckningspoliser i Värmland upplever den emotionella intelligensens betydelse i deras vardagliga arbete. Poliser utsätts dagligen för si-tuationer, där de konfronteras av både sina egna och andras känslor. Polis är ett högriskyrke, därför är det viktigt att förebyggande åtgärder är i fokus. Vi anser att det är intressant att un-dersöka hur poliser uppfattar och värderar betydelsen av känslor i arbetet. Vår undersökning är en kvalitativ studie baserad på intervjuer.

The aim of the study was to improve understanding of how upper secondary school acknowledge and adjust support and guidance for gifted students regarding their future academic and professional career. The study examined school pricipals and career counselors approach to guidance work with gifted students and how the above mentioned professionals received information about gifted students. It was further examined what measures were applied to adjust the upper secondary school to the needs of gifted students. Qualitative interviews were conducted and the results showed that in cases where the informants were told it took place in conjunctions with seminars about the class, through grades or through a teacher or the students themselves who contacted the career counselor or principal at the upper secondary school.The giftedness was connected to the school curriculum and various course topics in the secondary programs. School principals viewed the career counselor as an important resource to provide motivational support, individualize and survey future plans.

The main purpose of this C-essay is to answer the question: What have been the consequences and effects of the merit point system on language studies and the parties concerned (teachers, students and principals) during the school year of 2010/11?The merit point system is the result of a political decision and was implicated for the first time in the Swedish upper secondary school during the school year 2010/2011. Being a completely new phenomenon it is of great interest and importance to study its effects.The study in this essay also aims to verify, falsify or nullify two hypotheses very often referred to in the political discussions regarding the merit point system:The merit point system will replace affection and interest as main reasons for language studies in upper secondary school and cause a rectification amongst the students choices of additional courses.The merit point system will have a segregating effect upon society and make it harder for people to rise in society through education in the future.A verification of these hypotheses would imply the appearance of an increased rectification amongst students as well as an orientation towards an in the future more segregated society.The empiric material has been collected and examined with qualitative as well as quantitative methods (questionnaires and interviews) and belongs epistemologically to the phenomenological and hermeneutical traditions..

For centuries inbreeding has been used to refine traits in dogs, making desired traits more hereditary and thereby, different breeds have been invented. Breed standards have been written for each of these breeds, describing in detail the different characteristics of each breed. When humans start to choose which animal to breed from, so called artificial selection, taste is put before function and the laws of nature, the natural selection, cease to apply. During this development, pedigree dogs have gone towards more and more extreme exterior characteristics and the dogs may have inherited various, more or less, severe problems for example compromised vision, impaired ability to move and difficulties to breathe. However they can still survive and reproduce because humans provide them with the conditions to do so.

I dagens samhälle talas det mycket om social kompetens. Social kompetens innebär en förmåga att umgås och kommunicera med andra människor i sin omgivning. Begreppet har fått ökad spridning på grund av att vi nu lever i ett alltmer globaliserat samhälle där individen har fått allt större inflytande, och därmed också större krav över sig att kunna uppföra sig på ett passande sätt i rätt situation. Det förväntas av individen att hon ska kunna samspela med andra människor i exempelvis skola och arbetsliv. Social kompetens är något som mognat fram under tidens lopp och ingår i den så kallade civilisationsprocessen, som kan delas in i fyra olika faser, där social kompetens är den fjärde och sista fasen i denna process.

Detta är en korrelationsstudie med avsikt att undersöka förhållandet mellan personlighetsegenskaper och kognitiva förmågor samt detta förhållandes inverkan på prestation. Studien är baserad på övningstestningar (n = 176) med WAIS-III, FAS, det lexikala beslutstestet SLDT samt personlighetsformuläret SSP, genomförda under informella former. Signifikanta negativa korrelationer förelåg mellan resultat på kognitiva test och personlighetsvariablerna Bitterhet, Somatisk Ångestbenägenhet, Psykisk Ångestbenägenhet, Stresskänslighet och Misstroende. Ett starkt positivt samband framkom mellan Somatisk ångestbenägenhet och antalet som riktiga ord skattade pseudoord i SLDT. Ett starkt negativt samband framkom mellan Bitterhet och samtliga skalindex i WAIS-III.

In some criminal cases, the only existing evidence is the verbal statement of a witness or the plaintiff. The typical example is an alleged rape where victim and perpetrator have had some kind of relation, and their records of the incident differ. In these cases, the assessment of the value of the evidence drawn from the plaintiff's story is of crucial importance. On the one hand, a false positive judgment means that a person is wrongly convicted, on the other hand, a failure to correctly identify a truthful claim of rape means that a victim of a severe crime is left without judicial remedy. That the prosecutor must prove that the crime is committed by the defendant without reasonable doubt, means that there is much more chance of a failure to convict guilty felons, than of the opposite.In the essay, the rules of criminal procedure directed at the evaluation of the verbal statement are identified and critically evaluated from the perspective of how they may or may not facilitate the judgment of a verbal statement presented before the court, either in person, or through other media such as video.
