This literature research is meant to answer the following questions: ? What was the Swedes consumption of fat from 1935 to 2009? ? How has the fat consumption corresponded to the current recommendations? ? What is LCHF and which are the main advantages and disadvantages? Fat supplies us with energy, isolates and protect organs from bumps and punches. Fat is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. The properties of a fat depend on its structure. The most common fat in human food is triacylglycerides.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate whether the selection of products in the school cafeterias in Uppsala county high schools' comply with NFA's (National Food Administration) recommendations. Furthermore, the intention was to examine pupils´ eating habits before and during the school day, and their views on the school cafeteria´s selection of products. To investigate this, an inventory of school cafeterias in six high schools in Uppsala County, and a survey among 60 pupils were carried out. The results showed that the NFA's recommendations not always were followed. The survey showed that there were healthy products in the cafeterias but unhealthy products nevertheless constituted a large part of the selection.

The aim of this study is to examine how the induction period for newly employed upper secondary school teachers is implemented in practice, in relation to the Swedish Education Act and the National Agency for Education?s general guidelines. Although this induction period has been legally mandated since 2010, both previous research and current statistics indicate significant shortcomings or wide variation in its practical execution. The study is based on a qualitative interview study involving 13 school leaders. The interview responses were analyzed using three complementary theoretical frameworks: Lipsky?s theory of street-level bureaucracy, Meyer and Rowan?s concept of decoupling, and Schein?s model of organizational culture.

Social workers in this study describes various experiences of the assessments of interventions for children and adolescents. Social workers experience of the many different situations where an assessment of best effort must be made on the basis of BBIC, which is the Social Services investigation records. To make this assessment, the Social workers need social assistance and support of their colleagues and manager. Knowledge mixed with experience is also an important part when it comes to being professional and not let emotions control that could otherwise be happened when the social worker meets and builds relationships with clients. Social workers are also those who will decide which achievement the client needs from the needs.

It has now passed two years since the new site- and construction law, PBL, went into force. It replaced the previous PBL applicable since 1987, and it involves relatively large changes in many different areas of the construction sector. The ambitions of the new law are for instance to simplify and clarify the legal text, increase efficiency in the permitting processes and improve the quality of construction. To achieve this, a variety of changes was made. Some of the most important are: inserted deadline in the processing of building applications, extended assessment of building applications, revised rules about controlplan and quality manager, a certificate is required to start and end the project, an additional meeting is inserted and the construction management of the municipalities will have to do a mandatory visit at the work scene.

Förändringsprocessen har påverkat pressoperatörernas psykosociala arbetsklimat. Vi valde att undersöka medarbetarnas psykosociala arbetsklimat och hur förändringen har påverkat arbetsmotivationen bland medarbetarna på pressavdelningen. Undersökningens syfte var att studera hur medarbetarna uppfattar sin arbetssituation idag jämfört med före förändringen och hur man som ledare kan förbättra och skapa ett klimat för ökad motivation. Tillvägagångssättet för insamlingen av primärdata har skett genom en enkätundersökning och intervjuer. Enkätundersökningen var övergripande inom problemområdet och användes som underlag för intervjuerna.

Lagstiftningen som reglerar förhållandet mellan arbetsgivare och arbetstagare är arbetsrätten som regleras i lagen (1982:80) om anställningsskydd (LAS). Saklig grund måste uppfyllas för uppsägning samt avsked, för att dessa två ska vara giltiga i en rättsprocess. Detta innebär att arbetstagaren måste grovt ha åsidosatt sina åtaganden, detta kan exempelvis ske vid missbruk eller narkotikainnehav vilket framkommer i de rättsfall som behandlas i uppsatsen. Innan ett avsked eller uppsägning bör arbetsgivaren se över ett antal kriterier i valet av de två olika vägarna såsom omplacerings- och rehabiliteringsskyldigheten. En närmare granskning av de lagar samt kostnader som kan uppstå i och med den rådande lagstiftningen kommer att ses över.

Society and the workplace are two factors that are important for the individual's health status. It is important that the individuals has the right skills to take care of their health. For organizations, it is important to strive for the welfare of their employees. This has proven to have a positive impact on work performance, reduced absenteeism and reduced costs for rehabilitation. In 2007, the local authorities in Umeå implemented a wellness offering for all employees working in the municipality administration.

Samhället blir allt mer datoriserat och många anställda sitter framför datorn hela arbetsdagar eftersom datornär det huvudsakliga hjälpmedlet i arbetet. Det förutsätts att den ska fungera problemfritt. Då det uppstår datorproblem kan den anställde påverkas i form av en minskad motivation till arbetsuppgiften eller till arbetet som helhet. För att företaget ska kunna uppnå sina planerade mål och resultat, är det viktigt att alla delar i företaget fungerar. Vi inriktar oss på individen eftersom det är individen som först berörs av datorproblem. Då individen känner en minskad motivation på grund av datorproblem i arbetet, hur agerar denne då? Vilka arbetsrelaterade konsekvenser leder dessa handlingar till? Studien visar att en minskad motivation som följd av datorproblem i arbetet leder till handlingar för individen.

Utbildning och träning av rökdykning inom räddningtjänsten är idag både dyrt ochtidskrävande. Vid praktisk träning måste räddningstjänsten bege sig ut till befintligaövningsområden och ta med sig en stor mängd utrustning: luftpaket, skyddskläder, radio etc. Detta gör det till ett omfattande och kostsamt moment. Detta öppnar tankebanor för alternativ och komplement till befintlig utbildning och träning.Serious games finns idag i många former och är ett utbildnings och rekryteringsredskap som bygger på datorstödd inlärning. Med detta menas att ett Serious game är ett spel som har som huvudsyfte att lära ut och om möjlighet vara underhållande under tiden.

The objective of this study was to examine three common mobile phoneplatforms in relation to their network traffic features. The platforms to beexamined are Android, iOS 5 and Windows Phone. After the investigation wascompleted a prototype application was implemented in order to demonstratethese features in the most suitable platform. The application will function as atelephone call exchanger. In addition, the application must also send the userstatistic to a Web server, accept contacts from a Web server, as well as having aspecial administration part in which the userstatistc can be presented.

Arbetet utforskade, genom fallstudie, två egenskaper av distribuerade informationssystem och relation mellan dessa: säkerhet och prestanda. Målet med fallstudien har varit att belysa nackdelen med användning av Secure Socker Layer (SSL) dvs. dess effekt på hastigheten och fördelen med SSL, dvs. SSL:s roll i informationssäkerhetsarbetet.
