Informationsteknik (IT) är en marknad som förändras snabbt. Att investera i IT kan därför vara kritiskt. Att ha en strategi för hur satsningar på IT ska göras kan minska risken för felinvesteringar på IT men strategin kan även ge andra fördelar. Att ha en IT-strategi innebär dock inte automatiskt att den ger fördelar. IT-strategin bör även användas.

Att handla på Internet har blivit mycket populärt. Allt fler företag öppnar handelsportaler på Internet där konsumenten kan köpa företagets produkter. I och med att kunden inte kan se produkten i verkligenheten, utan bara som en bild på Internet, händer det att kunden blir missnöjd med produkten och väljer att returnera den. Produkter som säljs på Internet har en tendens att returneras i högre grad än andra produkter som säljs på traditionellt sätt. När det gäller betalningen av produkterna har konsumenterna många olika betalningssätt att välja bland.

Uppsatsens grundläggande syftet är att förklara förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion. För att uppnå detta syfte har förutsättningar utifrån teori delats upp i tre olika dimensioner: institutionella, ekonomiska och sociokulturella. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har varit vägledande för att empiriskt identifiera förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion mellan Sverige och Norge. Det är förklaringen av ett visst fenomen ? gränshinder ? i relation till gränsöverskridande verksamhet som eftersträvas. Förutsättningar för tillväxt i en gränsregion begränsas av brist på institutionella, ekonomiska och sociokulturella förutsättningar.

Vid prismätning av varukorg har det framkommit att prisnivå mellan de olika butikerna betydligt skiljer åt, mellan 17 ? 47 % lägre genomsnittspris för varukorgen på Lidl än hos de andra dagligvaruhandlarna. Då konkurrenternas priser är en av de faktorer som påverkar prissättningen är det rimligt att tro att en nyetablering av en lågpriskedja på den lokala marknaden ökar prispressen och därmed får en priseffekt på hela marknaden speciellt när priserna så mycket skiljer åt som min prisunderökning visat. Nyetablering av en lågpriskedja kommer att aktualisera en rad frågor hos konkurrenter, konsumenter och leverantörer. Köparnas förhandlingsstyrka stärks och de andra aktörerna i branschen blir tvungna att se över sitt pris. I sin tur kommer de att sätta press på sina leverantörer så att leverantörernas förhandlingsstyrka försvagas, speciellt när det handlar om de små/lokala leverantörerna.

In a world of ?formal organizations?, which is constantly exposed for institutionalized super standards and ideas of a what a modern orgnization should be like, the pressure for changes are strong. This is the environment in which Lund University finds itself. Ideas in the beginning of the 21-century is concerning a stronger emfasis on steering, centralisation, re-hieriarchyzation, standardised processes and a new regulation concerning internal control. Through theories of new institutionalism, with conceptions as organizational identity and the expectations of adapting to new ideas, can you track the translation and adaptation that the ideas go through at the university- a decentralised organization where not only freedom has been a concept for the academic parts, but also for the administration.

In order to get a better understanding of the interaction between employees and their technical work tools one needs to know what factors influence the interaction. The purpose of this study was to examine if there is a correlation between the personality traits Extraversion (E) and Neuroticism (N), tested with Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI), and experience of the new Intranet among employees at The Swedish National Transport Administration (SNTA), and also to gather information of employees? opinions about the new Intranet. A survey, containing questions about the Intranet and a personality test (EPI), was posted on SNTA?s Intranet for eight workdays (N = 88, females = 53, males = 35).

The Swedish National Labour Market Administration wishes to acquire further knowledge about how the evaluation process of vocational rehabilitation at the employment service operates as a part of the quality assurance of this activity. The primary task for vocational rehabilitation at the employment service is to investigate the work capacity of unemployed people, to give them increased knowledge and better understanding of their own capacity concerning work or education. The aim of this study was to survey the evaluation process of vocational rehabilitation at the employment service in Sweden. Data were collected through telephone interviews with 15 occupational therapists employed at the employment service, who were working with vocational rehabilitation. The result shows that the investigation of work capacity can take place in different environments and that the space of time for an investigation can vary.

During my one year master in pedagogic science, I was frequently given the impression that depicts the pedagogue?s profession as a rather transcendent talent or, more precisely, a matter of having ?it? or not. It seemed to me, as if the communicative part of the teacher?s specialised skill was more or less undefined in the description of what makes the pedagogue a professional pedagogue. On those premisses, I was led to the aim of this study, which is pursuing the very essence of the profession by discussing how five teachers validate their daily work from a habermasian perspective on communication, society and pedagogy.

The aim of this essay is to study the development of democracy in the Halland province, with focus on participating measures. First and foremost to test earlier research about the causes of the development of democracy, which says that the work takes place with obvious variation between the municipalities and that it is caused by economic resources and experienced problems in the democracy. The purpose is also to conduct a general discussion about the conditions and effects of the development.Thus the method can be characterised as theory consuming because I as far as possible assume the method that has been used in earlier research. Still, my study is limited to the six municipalities of the Halland province and is therefore a study of few cases. One person in each municipality has been interviewed in order to collect a list of all the measures that have been carried out.

1995 påbörjades en omfattande inventering av samtliga byggnader i Visby innerstad på uppdrag av länsmuseet på Gotland. Det material som samlades in placerades i en Accessdatabas för att kunna användas av museet, länsstyrelsen på Gotland och stadsarkitektkontoret i Visby. Emellertid hade man vid inventeringens start inte någon klar struktur för att skapa enhetlighet i materialet och därför blev resultatet en svåranvändbar databas. Tillgängligheten till databasen begränsades också eftersom man var tvungen att göra en kopia till var och en som behövde möjlighet att använda den. Möjligheten att uppdatera informationen i databasen var alltså i stort sett obefintlig, eftersom man då skulle vara tvungen att skicka ut nya versioner till alla användare.

Computers together with Internet have been growing enormously, during the last decade and the area of information technology has been growing in the same speed. As long as the surrounding environment evolves, the business models must within the IT-area, keep the same pace. So, how do business corporations handle this change to attract customers? How do the dominant business models look like? In many cases, they are apparently much the same. But what differences can we see and what areas can be improved? We have showed that the IT area isn?t just one, it consist of several segments.

Auditing demands knowledge in many diverse areas. To be able to provide all this knowledge it is necessary for the auditor to have access to persons with special skills. Through these contacts the auditor builds up a business network that brings support in the daily work. Our purpose with this study is to find out how auditor?s network in big auditing firms is organized and to show how they use their network.

Syfte Studiens syfte är att utvärdera internprissystemet på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona. Metod Uppsatsen är en fallstudie av internprissystemet på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona. För att tillföra en viss bredd till utvärderingen utgörs vårt empiriska material av intervjuer med såväl verksamhetschefer, planeringsstrateg, controllers samt sjukhusets ekonomidirektör. Med avsikt att underlätta presentationen av studiens resultat och utvärderingen, som sådan, har vi utformat en utvärderingsmall baserad på den information som samlats in under våra intervjuer. Slutsatser Studien pekar på att sjukhuset använder internprissystemet i syfte att skapa kostnadsmedvetenhet bland de anställda, för att på så sätt förhindra överkonsumtion av tjänster som utförs internt.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and propose improvements to the current procedure for cost estimations of purchased maintenance work at Banverket, the Swedish rail administration. This governmental institution is responsible for the procurement of maintenance services for the country?s railroad network through open tenders. Due to the generally low number of contractors, it is particularly necessary to establish accurate cost estimates in order to assess the offers and ensure that a fair price is being paid to the suppliers. Several flaws associated with the current practice are identified and analyzed according to cost accounting theories.
