An increase interest of new methods and tools has begun to grow in the real estate business, this new trend causes an increase in new programs that aim to simplify processes of energy-efficiency and environmental issues.After consulting with Björn Alsmark from Bjerking AB, an architect and engineering company, we made a decision that the Degree Project is going to examine the program IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) with some integrations from Revit Architecture application.To be able to examine IES, we got access to a completed project from Bjerking. The project is a nursery school in Uppsala. An application has been handed in from Bjerking to make this project to a Green Building-certificated project. According to Bjerking own calculations (with the energy-calculation program Enorm), the consumption of energy of the nursery school is 48 percent lesser than required by BBR.An evaluation of IES and Enorm has been made with an aim to compare these two programs and find out if IES is an appropriate program to replace Enorm. Does Enorm or IES come up to BBR´s recommendations?The Degree Project cover 15 ECT, that required several adjusting and delimitations, and the study sketch ended with a literature study.After finishing the study sketch the modeling of the nursery school began.

Since a couple of decades the community of Jönköping has worked out an urban vision of how the city should be appropriated expanded. The prospect extends to around year 2040 and deals with the area south of lake Munksjön in Jönköping, Sweden. Today there is a proposal of how this would look like and what main public functions that should be located there. One issue in the so-called urban vision 2.0 indicates a congressional building. This report describes how such an object can be designed according to the urban vision conditions.The work is focused on three main themes;* Architectural concept and a modern form of expression.* A functional attractive congress building in a new planned town centre.* General concept of a realistic structure system that meet the spatial and architectural possibilities.Various concepts in the meeting industry and in the Architecture field are identified in order to understand the concepts and ideas with today´s congress buildings.

De teknologiska framstegen inom mobiltelefoni de senaste åren, har bidragit till att människor kan utföra sysslor oberoende av plats. För företag som tillhandahåller webbtjänster är mobila applikationer någonting som kan utnyttjas för att öka användning av deras tjänst. I uppsatsen undersöks om detta stämmer eller ej.För företag blir det viktigt hur en mobil applikation integreras mot den befintliga webbtjänsten. Det är dessutom relevant för företag att veta hur applikationen påverkar användningen av den initiala webbtjänsten.I studien utvecklas en mobil applikation från grunden för att se vilka potentiella problem företag kan stöta på vid utveckling av en mobil applikation. Intervjuer görs med företag som utvecklat mobila applikationer till befintliga webbtjänster, för att undersöka hur de upplevt effekterna av applikationen efter lansering.Resultaten visar att lansering av en mobil applikation ofta görs till mer än en typ av mobiltelefon.

Alnarp?s Healing Garden is a place for rehabilitation as well as an ongoing multidisciplinary scientific research experiment. The garden is built on research results from the disciplines of Landscape Architecture, Environmental Psychology and Garden Therapy. In the garden, people diagnosed with burnout syndromes are being rehabilitated. The participants need safe and calm environments which activate their bodies self healing systems. Theories show that water as an element, per se, increases the observer?s preference for an environment.

Undersökningen visualiseras slutligen i 3D, i form av renderingar från Revit Architecture samt en fysisk modell.Initialt genomfördes en utredning för att ge beslutsunderlag till projektet. Vidare gjordes en fallstudie vilken har använts som referens och inspiration till arbetet.

The formulation of visions into practical projects is an important part of the professional expertise of landscape architects. This expertise includes the gathering, structuring, improvement and utilization of knowledge. Project models have been developed to provide tools for the implementation and governance of projects, as well as means of learning, reflection and survey of individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to describe some general project models and their theory, and to describe practical, real-life examples of project models used within landscape Architecture. Questions asked are: ? How do the processes of idea to construction in landscape architectural projects lool like? Do project models have a relevance for the mission of landscape architects? ? Arkitektkontoret Sweco Architects i Göteborg har tagit fram ett förslag för ett bostadsområde i Varberg, där Varbergs kommun var beställare. De föreslog att ett eget områdesförslag skulle tas fram i Revit Architecture utifrån de planbestämmelser som gäller i området. Som en fördjupning i detta arbete valdes att även studera arbetsprocessen i programmet samt hur denna process kan tidsoptimeras. Ett problem idag är att en sådan process kan vara tidskrävande och ineffektiv. Syftet med detta arbete var att finna idéer på hur processen kan effektiviseras och att utveckla kunskaperna om Revit.Som en inledning modellerades hur området ser ut idag i Revit utifrån en ritning skapad i AutoCAD.

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

Solar energy is an infinite resource and should therefore be considered when selecting an energy supplier. Uppsala University hospital is facing major restructuring when parts of the existing buildings will be refurbished and a large new building will be constructed. White Architects have developed a study concerning the new building and for some of the existing buildings on the hospital campus. Uppsala County requires tough energy measures and wants the new building to be classified as an eco-building in Whites following work. The classifications will involve high energy source requirements. This work has been conducted to see if solar power can be envisaged as a supplementary energy source for the University hospital and also to investigate the aesthetic impact of solar cells on the new building.
