Background: Surgical complications has been the main cause of medical injuries and deaths worldwide. In 2008 WHO developed the checklist for safe surgery to reduce the number of surgical complications. The objective of the checklist is to strengthen already established safety routines and contribute to better cooperation and communication. Research shows that compliance to the checklist is deficient, which can affect patient safety.Aim: The aim was to study the extent to which theatre nurses participate in the use of the checklist.Method: Observational study was conducted with a descriptive design and quantitative approach. 24 observations were carried out with aid of an observation protocol of two surgical units at a hospital in central Sweden.Result: The results showed that Timeout initiated widely but compliance to all items was considerably lower.

The care is preformed in cooperation with a multi-professional team formed of different professions. Advanced home care is mostly palliative care. The purpose is to give the patient better quality of life and anticipate, survey and palliate symptoms. The aim of this study was to describe the experiences of district nurses using advanced homecare when nursing patients with palliative care at home.

Findings. The underlying theme that emerged in the study was: Working with palliative care in the patient´s own homes is positive but challenging. Informants describe among other things that they perceived palliative home care as meaningful and that relatives have a central role in the palliative home care since they are close to the patient around the clock. The stress that emerges from the heavy work load and the long geographic distances are described as strenuous and to affect the care in a negative way. Informants describe the home environment as challenging as it is often not adapted for care and the collaboration with the palliative team is described to be experienced as both positive and negative.

I en rapport från Konjunkturinstitutet (2010) framkommer att produktivitets-utvecklingen i den svenska byggbranschen stått still sen mitten på 90-talet. Detta samtidigt som övriga näringslivet ökat sin produktivitet kraftigt under samma period. Denna skillnad i produktivitetsutveckling skulle kunna betyda att det finns mycket arbete kvar att göra för en ökad produktivitet i byggbranschen.För att få en högre produktivitet i byggbranschen krävs det att de som utför arbetet har en strävan efter att vara produktiv. Denna strävan påverkas av mjuka faktorer som t.ex. incitament, engagemang och psykosocial arbetsmiljö.

The method is based on a quantitative content analysis, and critical discourse analysis in which I use van Dijk's analytical approach. Issues :1. Public participation in urban planning is meant to increase democracy in the planning process. Even though all citizens have the option to participate in urban planning debates, few seize their chance to partake. This thesis describes a study on how user needs are met and prioritized in design processes concerning urban planning. The aim was to determine whether user-centered design (UCD) methods could be used as an avenue for public participation in urban planning and ultimately invite more citizens into the planning process.The thesis details a design process where a team worked to develop Farsta, a suburb of Stockholm. The design problem was the question of how Farsta could become an attractive business location.

My purpose of this study is to investigate whether elementary school is available for students with the disability of autism. If the school is just as accessible for students with autistic syndrome as for students with asperger syndrome, or if the school is marked by equal treatment. I think this is important to highlight since I think it´s a deficiency in the school's accessibility for certain students, and dilemmas occurs regarding students in need of support. In order to provide a validated result according to me, I decided to conduct interviews with a few employees and ask all of them the same questions. The interviews I conducted was performed anonymously.

I have divided my main results into 4 categories, based on an earlier studyfrom Karin Redelius (2002). These categories include the following themes:1) Competition on the good and the bad2) The importance of winning3) Shake-out versus sports on children’s terms4) Instruction, play and learningThe main conclusions in this study show that leaders on the strategic level appreciate youthhockey in a very similar way.

The aim of the present literature study was to define and describe the area ?compliance in veterinary medicine? (i.e. the way treatment recommendations are being performed) and discuss the factors that influence the level of compliance. Based on the findings, a model that intended to increase compliance in orthopedic postoperative rehabilitation of dogs was designed. In the daily work as a veterinary nurse it is essential that one provides the best possible care to the animals from the beginning to the end of the treatment.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att ge stöd till anhöriga till patienter inom palliativ hemsjukvård.Designen var deskriptiv med en kvalitativ ansats. Informanterna var strategiskt utvalda och bestod av fem sjuksköterskor som arbetade i ett palliativt hemsjukvårdsteam i Upplands län. Bandinspelade personliga intervjuer analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Sjuksköterskorna upplevde att deras arbete kändes meningsfullt och utvecklande. Att Arbeta i team var en mycket positiv aspekt. De svårigheter som framkom handlade om att anpassa sig efter olika situationer.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur småföretagare arbetar med modellen "konkurrensmedelsmixen" för att stärka kundtillfredsställelsen. I inledningen kommer läsaren att få en inblick i hur viktigt det är att kundens behov och förväntningar uppfylls, då det ger effekter på företagets lönsamhet och påverkar även kundens lojalitet. Frågeställningen som ska belysas är hur småföretagare kan arbeta med att öka kundtillfredsställelsen och vilka delar de lämpligen skulle kunna arbeta mer med.
