Background: Climate changes are a growing concern all over the world today. In June year 2006 the European Union accepted a new strategy for the Unions work against a sustainable development. The concept of taking consideration to all the aspects of an organisations/a company's activity is something that have been in focus during later years. Social and ethical aspects are in focus and questions regarding these aspects are more commonly included in the companies yearly reporting. A sustainability report is characterised by that it takes into account not only environmental aspects, like ordinary environmental reports, but also social and ethical aspects of a company's activity with it's surroundings.

The purpose behind this study is to explore and explain the role of fear arousal when combined with the concept of customer satisfaction and retention in one marketing strategy. The major theories applied are the concept of fear appeals and the concept of customer satisfaction & customer retention. We chose to conduct our research through an ethnographic case study of KM. We did a qualitative study where we collected 10 interviews and we conducted observations. Our empirical data consists of academic articles from scientific journals, interviews andobservations.

Denna studie handlar om elevers uppfattningar om motivation i ämnet matematik. Syftet med denna studie var att lyfta fram elevers egna utsagor och upplevelser om sin motivation, samt få en bild av eventuella förändringar eller mönster kring elevers motivation till matematikämnet under deras tidiga år i grundskolan. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av elevenkäter och elevintervjuer, där kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder kombinerats för att möjliggöra ett fördjupat analysarbete i undersökningens resultatdel. Här presenteras elevers uppfattningar av motivation i ämnet matematik samt deras tankar om vad som påverkar motivationen. Analysen av resultaten visar att eleverna har en god uppfattning om vad som påverkar deras motivation. De ger många exempel, där fysiskt och psykiskt välmående samt lärarens pedagogiska arbete i klassrummet, har betydelse för motivationsprocessen.

Do ceramics have to be static? This was the question that spurred me into this work, and what kept me working on to achieve the possibility of motion in my ceramic objects. By combining the knowledge gained through my former education as an avionics technician with my interest in the ancient ceramic craft, I strive to create kinetic ceramic handicraft suitable for interaction with an audience.By a series of different phases I slowly go from understanding what kind of motion I want my objects to have, to actually realizing this motion in three-dimensional objects. Through the use of simple models made from corrugated fiberboard followed by more advanced plaster models, combined with different complementary materials such as bicycle inner-tubing and recycled aluminium cans among many others, I, through a vast series of testing, slowly build up a knowledge base later applied to the ceramic objects.The result is for me a success; I have found a way for me to combine ceramics with mechanics. Through this I have created kinetic ceramic handicraft intended for interaction with an audience..

This paper has its aim to investigate in which way the theory about the dynamic of the triadic nexus, presented by Brubaker, needs to be revised. In the first place this theory is presented and after then applied on the triad formed by: the Hungarian national minority in Transylvania, Romania and Hungary. Through the empirical evidences, that are presented here by following up the political relations and its dynamics over time between the three fields, is shown that the theory is usable for the case in question. Further as we approach the more actual development of the political life in the triad appears a need to deal with one more field which would be for example the NATO or/and EU.This means that Brubakers theory has to be revised so it would take in account a forth field and that of an international organization/institution. The arguments for this needed change is put forth through empirical evidences on the political relations that the two states has with NATO or/and EU and the huge influence these have on the states..

Jag vill med denna uppsats visa hur man kan använda sig av utomhusmatematik som ett kompletterande arbetssätt för att göra matematikundervisningen i grundskolan mer variationsrik. Jag vill även i korta ordalag beskriva varifrån utomhuspedagogiken härstammar och vilka positiva effekter den tidigare påvisats ha på lärandet och eleverna. För att visa detta har jag genomfört en empirisk studie där jag har arbetat med samt studerat en grupp elever både inomhus och utomhus. Därefter har jag intervjuat eleverna om deras upplevelser samt kontrollerat att de har tillgodogjort sig de begrepp vi har arbetat med. Allt detta redovisas i en resultatdel där jag har tagit upp mina observationer från lektionerna samt vad eleverna har uttryckt under sina respektive intervjuer.

Bakgrund till studien ges dels i en genomgång av hur IT-stöd och systemutveckling inom vård och omsorg fungerar, dels framväxten av den Nationella IT-strategin och dess förankring inom kommun och landsting. E-recept är en prioriterad fråga i den Nationella IT-strategin. Dess framgångsrika genomförande på alla nivåer och att användandet av e-recept är världsledande i internationell statistik gör att systemet blir intressant att analysera.Syftet med studien var att skapa förståelse för de faktorer ur ett användarperspektiv som lett fram till detta framgångsrika systeminförande. Vi har valt att skapa en teoretisk ram, genom att kombinera FITT-modellen ?Fit between Individuals Task and Technology? och användbarhetskriterier, för att tydliggöra de faktorer som är centrala i införandet.

To buy ?new and fresh?.Patterns with different expressions, colouring and size, were explored that increase the value of a product which in this project contained handles and varies of surfaces on casseroles, frying pans, whisks, cutlery etc.

It can therefore be worth looking at the works of fiction that are available for pupils in school. A book that is popular among children and adolescents is Twilight (2007).

Denna uppsats presenterar en undersökning av fallstudiekaraktär. Fallet är ett matematiklärarkollegium på en gymnasieskola i Sverige, vilket studeras med inriktning på hur lärarna i det lägger upp sin undervisning, och varför de gör som de gör. Utifrån kvalitativa intervjuer behandlar uppsatsen hur tre av matematiklärarna beskriver att de introducerar begreppet derivata och orsakerna till deras lektionsupplägg. Intervjuerna analyseras med hjälp av en antropologisk didaktikteori. I uppsatsen redogörs för hur lärarna tänker sig sina undervisningsupplägg i sin helhet.

This study investigates how productivity works when employees have remote work in their workplace. This study will also focus on challenges that cause productivity to decrease when remote work applies. The empirical data shows that individual productivity increases when employees work in a workplace that provides remote work. The data says that less distractions and high autonomy is a big factor to why employees feel that they work productively at home. Briefly it shows that a flexible workplace makes individual employees work productively and even motivates employees to work effectively because of increased concentration and undisturbed work environment.

Denna uppsats grundar sig på en kvalitativ ansats och beskriver en studie som behandlat beslutsfattande gällande IT i en organisation. Beslutsfattandet när det gäller IT påverkas av omgivning, teknologi samt uppfattningar om organisationens mål och metoder för att uppnå målen. Att uppnå målen är ingen trivial uppgift och är kantat av många problem. ITstyrning ses om en lösning på dessa problem med beslutsfattande om IT där den ska styras för att överensstämma med organisationens strategiska mål och avgöra vem som ska fatta dessa beslut. Syftet med studien var att beskriva beslutsfattandet och beslutsprocessen om IT i en organisation och våra centrala frågeställningar var hur fattar organisationen beslut om IT? och hur är beslutsfattandet om IT delegerat i organisationen? För att besvara dessa frågor utfördes en initial litteraturstudie där vi granskade teorier om organisationen och beslutsfattande i denna samt IT-styrning.

The composition of the board of directors and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are two widely researched subject and discussed by the media. This study aims to examine the impact of the board of directors' composition on CSR performance among the largest companies listed on Nasdaq OMX stock exchange 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden. A linear regression analysis is applied to investigate the relationship and evidence is found that board attributes have an effect on CSR performance. Among these; the size of the board, outside directors and employee representatives all have a positive impact on environmental performance. Furthermore; female, outside directors and employee representatives have a positive impact on social performance.

Through qualitative interviews with six teachers at a school an understanding of teachers´ conceptions of, and conditions for their work on pupil democracy and student participation are sought.Formulation of questions were as follow:What does pupil democracy and pupil influence mean for selected teachers?How do selected teachers´ work with pupil democracy and pupil influence?What opportunities and complicatedness?s do selected teachers see with this work?Through this the selected teachers views on children and their thoughts on their role as a leader also are investigated.According to the curriculum the Swedish school should aim to transmit primary democratic values and pursue the education through democratic work models. Further the pupil should acquire influence of their education. The theory exposes several approaches on democracy and influence. These approaches are further on applied on the school.The result of the study evinces that selected teachers´ practice both pupil democracy and pupil influence.

Globalization has among other tendencies led to the emergence of new ways of doing business. One of the ways for organizations to meet the demands of a new competitive landscape has been through management accounting change, a field which has become increasingly popular in research. This paper builds on that research and seeks to investigate the case of the implementation of a new management accounting system in a Swedish company which was triggered by strategic change. Commonality through the interactive approach is by some researchers seen as a key to successful change. This approach is contrasted to the importance of symbolic constructs and change recipients? cognitive effort to understand the meaning of change for which Framing theory is applied.
