Intresset är lågt för matematik hos elever i grundskolans senare del visar färska undersökningar. Skolverket efterlyser bland annat variation av arbetsformer. Jag har kommit i kontakt med en lärare som arbetar med laborativ matematik som återkommande inslag i matematikundervisningen. Denna uppsats är en fallstudie av hans arbete. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka och beskriva hur man kan utveckla och arbeta med laborativ matematik som återkommande inslag i matematikundervisningen.

Allt fler verksamheter väljer att investera i IT lösningar, med avsikt att skapa konkurrensfördelar gentemot organisationer i samma bransch. ERP system är en av dessa IT lösningar, och det har framkommit att dessa system inte alltid fungerar på ett tillfredsställande sätt. Därför är dessa system att betrakta som mindre dugliga ur ett användbarhetsperspektiv. Avsikten är att utveckla vår modell (TTF/A) som studerar hur en matchning mellan systemkaraktäristiska drag och karaktäristiska drag hos arbetsuppgifter påverkar systemets användbarhet. Modellen betraktar även hur erfarenhet av teknologianvändning och erfarenhet av att utföra arbetsuppgiften påverkar matchningen.

The current planning philosophy is based on a political utopic modernism founded during the first part of the 20th century. The focus is, in planning a defined area, to maximize the internal efficiency and to create a competitivesociety. During the latter part of the former century globalization changed the context, thus creating the need for a new way of approaching physical planning. This paper shows that the historical and philosophicalmetaphor of flow can be applied to meet the demands in the global city. It also shows how the edge, as where interaction takes place, is an important part of the content that has to be defined.

This paper addresses the need to review the modern presentation of textile archaeology in museums. It is time to look at textiles in archaeology with new eyes. The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams? `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research.

This paper describes a method for wireless energy transfer via near-field electromagnetic inductionthat is inexpensive, simple and can be applied to almost any type of system, regardless of size andenergy demands.The method uses a primary unit consisting of an oscillator, amplifier and inductive coil thattransfers energy to a secondary unit consisting of a coil, rectifier and voltage regulator. Two typesof oscillators and several amplifier designs were realized and evaluated together with a multitudeof flat coils of both monofilar and bifilar type.The results show that it is important to use an oscillator whose frequency is dependent on theinductance of the connected transmission coil, such as the Colpitts oscillator. This is preferable toan oscillator with a preset frequency, such as a Schmitt-trigger oscillator..

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka förekomsten av eventuella användbarhetsproblem och brister på webbplatser som tillhandahåller tjänster för digital uthyrning av film. I de fall existensen är ett faktum, har vi haft för avsikt att undersöka vilka dessa användbarhets-problem är och om det är möjligt att bygga bort dem genom att applicera befintlig kunskap inom användbarhet och webbdesign. För att kunna uppnå detta syfte har vi genomfört kvalitativa experiment på tre av de dåvarande största webbplatserna som erbjöd denna tjänst. Experimentens resultat analyserades både kvalitativt och kvantitativt för att uppnå en högre trovärdighet. Vår studie visade att det inte bara råder en uppsjö användbarhetsproblem på dessa webbplatser, utan att många av dem är så pass allvarliga att de omöjliggör användning av webbplatsernas tjänster.

Strategic development is something that concerns all companies, regardless of which industry they?re in. There is extensive research on this topic but one can question if the same theory also applies to E-businesses. Using case studies, this paper looks at strategic development in E-businesses and tries to answer whether strategic development in internet based companies is unique or if existing theory can still be applied. The predominant approach is to look into if E-businesses, due to a turbulent environment, rely less on market research and focus more on internal resources than would be expected by companies in more stable environments.

Purpose: The current thesis assignment aims to explain, understand and follow the strategies the young children employ into a conception of numbers. This thesis is based on a study performed by Doverborg and Pramling Samuelson.The following research questions serve to refine the stated goal:How mathematical thinking regarding conception of numbers occurs within younger children and which strategies they use?How is the interaction between the teacher and the younger children?Method: The study is organized as a qualitative study and was conducted in a pre-school with a group of four children. The children that have participated within my study are between two and three years old. They were filmed in four exercises.

The recent history knows numerous examples of creditor?s inability to evaluate financial solvency of the client correctly. Creditors? risks do not only concern individual relations between the two parties but the economy in general. The standard loan-giving procedure considers evaluation based on a number of financial ratios.

Tanken med detta arbete är att ta reda på förskolebarns kunskaper om taluppfattning med fokus på antal. Studien genomfördes i en förskola i Mellansverige med 15 barn från 3-5 år för att se skillnaden i taluppfattning mellan dessa åldersgrupper men även mellan jämnåriga. Vidare ville jag genom observation ta reda på vilka aktiviteter som görs i förskolan för att kunna utveckla barnens förståelse och tänkandet inom taluppfattning. Resultatet av intervjun visar att barnen har stor förmåga och förståelse kring klassificering och sortering oavsett ålder. Men 14 av de 15 barnen förstod inte antalskonservation.

This Master's thesis concerns the professional knowledge of the librarian. The image of this knowledge is regarded as constructed in a social context, which is why the discourse analytic approach is selected as method. The empirical material consists of two texts concerning the education of librarians. A theory of knowledge, emanating from Aristotle, is applied to the results to find examples of the forms of knowledge that are excluded from the discourse. A number of themes, or ways, in which it is possible to discuss the phenomenon of the librarian's knowledge, are identified in the texts.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how social media can affect and influence the B2B-relationship. Social media is now a widespread and accepted tool for communication in many B2C-companies; therefore we find it interesting to examine how social media can find its place in the communication mix of B2B-companies. We are also aiming to distinguish standards in how social media is practiced and discussed in the context of the B2B-market. We have applied a qualitative method for this study and we have interviewed seven respondents, which are experts in social media or working with market communication at B2B-companies in Sweden. During our study we have identified several comparable attributes within the B2B market and their opinions about how social media should be approach and adopt in the communication mix of the company..
