Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka ett tidigare outforskat område, nämligen de gotiska dragen i Tove Janssons Muminböcker, med fokus på Småtrollen och den stora översvämningen. Skräckgenren har tidigare kopplats samman med både Jansson och hennes Muminböcker, fast aldrig förr genom ett gotiskt perspektiv. Därför lyder frågeställningen som följer: Vilka gotiska drag förekommer i Tove Janssons Muminböcker, framförallt i Småtrollen och den stora översvämningen? Hur framställs, och vilket syfte har, dessa gotiska drag?Gotiska drag står i fokus för närläsningen, vilket är metoden jag använder mig av i min analys. Jag använder en definition av termen gotik, presenterad av Mattias Fyhr, som innebär att jag kommer att söka efter drag som berör subjektivitet, avsaknad, förfall, undergång, olösbarhet och labyrintism.

Som i många andra dialekter och språkvarieteter har det vokabulär som är specifikt skånskt förändrats under årens lopp och det befaras att dialekten kommer att förändras för att bli mer lik rikssvenska. I föreliggande uppsats studeras betydelseutveckling hos adjektiv i den skånska dialekten.Omkring femtio ord har undersökts med avsikt att beskriva förändring av betydelse i förhållande till bland annat ålder. Valet av adjektiv gjordes med hänsyn till det faktum att betydelse hos denna ordgrupp i vissa avseenden kan anpassas och följa med tiden på ett annat sätt än ord ur andra ordklasser. Undersökningen visar att förändring i relation till betydelse har ägt rum under den tidsperiod som behandlas. Tidsomfånget är hundrafemtio år, med avstamp i 1800-talets mitt och med ändpunkt bland dagens skånska talare..

Customer service has traditionally consisted of telephone, mail, and later on chat.But the entry of social media has changed the way companies exercise customerservice. Companies should ask themselves whether the same type of traditionalcommunication may or may not function in a new channel and thus whether itcan be applied to social media.The purpose of this study is to describe the companies? use of customer servicein social media and how the communication differentiates from thecommunication in traditional customer service, and also to define the effect onthe customers? relationship to the company. To reach our conclusions we havecombined theoretical references with qualitative interviews.By our analysis, we found that the communication in social media expandsthe possibilities. By entering an unfamiliar channel, customer service has hadto adapt themselves and their language.

This study is a critical discourse analysis of Swedish newspaper articles about prostitution. The purpose of the study is to investigate which discourse/discourses about prostitution that is/are adressed in the articles and identify the power relations and meanings that are constructed by the different subject posititions in the articles. Apart from critical discourse analysis social constructionism and a discussion about gender are applied in the analysis. The results supports findings in earlier research about prostitutionin Sweden; that the debate is focused around prostitution as sexual domination or prostitution regarded as a voluntary choice which rises demands of human rights for sexworkers. No prostitutes or buyers of sex where given the opportunity to comment on the matter, only journalists, politicians, social workers and policemen.

This report will examine various solar energy technologies in order to decide if they could be applied in the Royal Seaport. The Royal Seaport is a Swedish urban district under development in Stockholm, with the goal of becoming a sustainable district. Two main techniques, solar collectors and solar cells, including sub-categories, are addressed in this report. Another sub-category, a hybrid system, will also be mentioned. The main difference between solar collectors and solar cells is the type of energy produced by the system.

In this thesis the pragmatic pedagogy as formulatad by John Dewey is applied to theswedish national campaign Digidel and its work to spread the digital participation among thegeneral public. The purpose of the thesis is to visualize and problematize that differentunderstandings of a problem, lead to different solutions, as lifted in John Dewey´s pedagogy, thatconstitutes the thesis' theoretical framework. The term digital participation is used by the Digidelcampaign, where public libraries take active part to spread digital participation througheducational efforts. By qualitative interviews with four librarians this thesis examines howunderstandings of the term may vary and in turn lead to differenent educational goals, designsand executions. The result shows that basic computer- and Internetskills are seen as either equelto or prerequisites for digital participation and that the digital participant is seen as either apassive recipient or an active participant.

The aim of this thesis was to study how social workers in social services in several municipalities perceive that they interpret the concept of domestic violence and how they believe they would act when it comes to different types of domestic violence. The thesis has focused on three types of violence; physical, psychological and economical. Seven social workers were interviewed with a thematised interview guide and six vignettes. The theoretical perspectives applied in the analysis were the process of normalization and the continuum of violence. The results showed that the social workers did not interpret domestic violence unanimous, and they had different ideas of how they would act in the vignettes.

This qualitative research is a contribution to the ongoing debate among marketing researchers regarding if there is a dominant paradigm and viewpoint of marketing and which one is the most appropriate. In this study current views of marketing are identified and then compared against the older Goods-Dominant Logic of Marketing and Vargos? and Luschs? alternative Service-Dominant Logic of Marketing. The trends that have been observed are situated in the framework of Thomas S. Kuhn?s philosophy of science.

This essay deals with the relationship between the influx to higher education and the situation on the labor market in Sweden. It also examines whether overeducation as a phenomenon is present among Swedish academics and if there is any obvious discrimination between the sexes. The Swedish government has an outspoken goal that at least 50% of every age group shall undergo an academic education. Therefore, they have expanded the possibilities ofobtaining one. We have used three economic theories to investigate the subject of this thesis and applied these on the statistics of 4 different educations.

The aim of this thesis is to form a theory of the green consumer power and to distinguish whether this phenomenon could indicate a movement toward the ecological citizenship. To do so, scientific theories regarding the responsibility of companies have been used, as well as the public choice theory, to link individuals as citizens to individuals as consumers. The motives of corporate environmental responsibility, along with consumers ability to bring pressure in different dimensions, are later drawn on as indicators applied to empirical information. The largest producer of ecological products in Sweden, Arla Foods, is employed as case study to explore if the green consumer power can and does exist. The ecological citizenship uses the ecological footprint, to define in what ways we can minimize our part of environmental degradation.The study seems to strengthen the theory, consumers do have a power to make companies go green and they tend to use it increasingly.

The purpose of this work was to investigate and provide understanding regarding how AI can be used to make organizations more efficient, where risk management is also discussed. The basic model for the study is the Resource-based view, which is about making use of one's resources which are described through many different perspectives. The method used for this study was a qualitative analysis, which was applied through interviews with several people with high positions within companies and relevant skills, based on insight and experiential knowledge.These people work in different industries, therefore a large part of the work was intended to carry out a comparative analysis between a line of different businesses. The results showed that AI is in a developing phase, and based on the respective industry, it has developed in different ways. Finally, it turned out that AI can make businesses more efficient by, among other things, managing data and automating various work processes faster compared to humans.

Bakgrunden till arbetet är att Sverige blir ett alltmer mångkulturellt samhälle och att många barn idag är flerspråkiga och vi uppfattar det som viktigt att stärka barns modersmål vilket är en förutsättning för att utveckla ett andraspråk. Syftet är att belysa vilket stöd i form av modersmålsundervisning eleverna får grundskolans tidiga år och vad pedagoger i F till år 5 anser vara ett språkutvecklande arbetssätt i skolan. För att kunna undersöka ämnet har vi ställt oss två huvudfrågor; Hur ser modersmålsundervisningen i mångkulturella skolor? Hur arbetar pedagoger språkutvecklande i mångkulturella skolor? Vi har valt att genomföra en kvalitativ undersökning och har intervjuat sammanlagt tio pedagoger; fyra klasslärare, fyra modersmålslärare och två fritidspedagoger på två olika skolor ? båda med stor andel barn med annan än svensk kulturell bakgrund Resultatet visar att pedagogerna menar att drama, läsning, diskussion, att skriva, musik och bild är de viktigaste aktiviteterna för elevernas språkutveckling. Modersmålslärarna lyfter fram läs- och skrivfärdighet, grammatik och samtal som viktiga delar i undervisningen. Innemiljön och skolornas utrustning och material tas också upp. Alla arbetar på olika sätt, men nämner ändå samma hjälpmedel och aktiviteter som stöd till den språkliga utvecklingen. Språkutvecklingen är individuell och en skapande process som kräver en aktiv engagemang från inlärarens sida.
