In the dog-human relationship humans are the ones who provide the dog with safety and comfort. Ainsworth's Strange Situation Procedure (ASSP), which was originally developed in humans to study the relationship between mothers and infants, has been modified to investigate the emotional bond research dogs have to a familiar person. Twelve research dogs were tested to investigate whether the dogs performed any behaviours indicating a secure-base effect, such as more exploration and play in the presence of a familiar person and proximity-seeking behaviours when this person is or has been absent. In the ASSP the dog enters a room with a familiar person, is introduced to a stranger, is left alone for a short period of time and experiences moments of separation and reunion. A second variation of the ASSP was added where the familiar person was replaced by another, to the dog, unfamiliar person.

Ibyggbranschen i Sverige idag strävas det efter att fortsätta utvecklingen av eneffektivisering gällande miljö, kvalitet och styrning.Samhället och byggbranchen har utvecklats och digitaliserats enormt de senasteåren, dock har vissa mindre delområden avstannat och det är bland annatdigitala metoder för arbetsordrar och registrering bland hantverkare.  Studien som är gjord syftar därför till att undersöka ifall det går atteffektivisera och digitalisera metoder gällande arbetsordrar och registrering.Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka ifall det går att effektivisera styrningen,miljöpåverkan, kvaliteten och ekonomiska delar bland byggföretag med hjälp aven mobil applikationslösning.I studien har jag valt att använda mig utav teori gällande miljö, kvalitet,styrning och finansiering där jag fördjupat mig i delar som är påverkningsbarmed hjälp av ett digitalt verktyg i form av en mobil applikation och dessfunktioner.För ett införande av applikationslösningen krävs det en invänjning och enmotivation ifrån hantverkarna eftersom att det innebär en stor förändringjämfört med den manuella metoden som använts under en längre tidsperiod. Detframgår att arbetsbelastningen för vissa delar i arbetet kan minska blandtjänstemännen vid  ett fullständigtinförande av den mobila portalen eftersom att vissa led försvinner när detgäller bland annat arbetsordrar och registrering. Jag kan konstatera att enförbättrad och förenklad version av applikationslösningen krävs för att få ettfullständigt införande bland hantverkarna..

In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

This Master's thesis concerns the classification of compact discs according to the Swedish classification system, SAB. The purpose of this thesis is to critically study and discuss category Y of the SAB-system and its Application in Swedish public libraries. The classification system has undergone great changes from the first edition in 1921 until today. In 1921 there were no musical recordings in Swedish libraries, today they are responsible for a large part of the loans. We discuss how the system's category Y has corresponded with the musical development.

The increasing oil prices during the last years have made it profitable to use cereal grains as a fuel. When compared with wood, cereals contain higher amounts of Cl, S and ash. The Cl and S content makes the gases from cereal combustion more corrosive than gases from wood combustion. The goal of this master thesis was to find out the variation of Cl, S and ash content for oat grain grown under different conditions. Oats was chosen because in Sweden it's considered as the cereal with the best fuel qualities.

This is the end report of my final exam at Medieteknik. It covers the planning, work process and review of a Flash based web Application that I set out to do. The goal was to create a user friendly, interactive e-shop with embedded functionality for playing music, displaying rich media content and researching possible payment solutions, to enable buying music files online. The project involved creating the user interface, the programmatic functionality of a Flash client (an SWF file). Also, setting up an Apache HTTP Server and establishing a working ?bridge? between the Flash client and the web server with Flash Remoting components and AMFPHP.

The purpose of this study is, based on theories of gender and hegemonic masculinity, to studyhow masculinity and femininity is constructed and reproduced in one of the most popularSwedish podcast: Filip & Fredriks podcast. The main theory in this study is that gender issocially created and sustained by humans through language and interaction with others.The study's research questions is: How are gender roles/gender portrayed in Filip & Fredrik'spodcast? What characteristics are attributed to men and women in Filip & Fredrik's podcast?How does Filip & Fredrik's podcast represents conditions and power relations between menand women?Through an linguistic textual analysis, which is an Application of discourse analysis, I seek toget beneath the surface meanings of texts and examine more implicit social meanings andideologies regarding gender. It includes an analysis of metaphors, word choices and syntax.The analysis shows underlying values and ideologies that indicates gender structures in abroader societal context. Choice of words and metaphores in Filip & Fredriks's podcastexpresses symbolism where men and male-typical attributes are highly valued, whilst womanand female-typical attributes is being devalued and representative of the opposite.Masculinities and femininities are also constructed and represented in various ways throughsentence constructions that guides the listeners in certain directions.

The value of a good reputation for organizations is increasing today as consumers and citizens become more aware of brands. If a crisis hits an organization, there is now more to lose than before concerning reputation. Therefore the organization?s communication strategies must be developed to sustain the organization?s reputation during and after a crisis.In the field of crisis communication there are two distinguished theories which concern what an organization with help from crisis communication should do to undergo a crisis without losing its reputation. These theories are image repair theory and situational crisis communication theory (SCCT).

This thesis is closely related to the Dynamically Self-Configuring Automotive System(DySCAS) project. DySCAS is a middleware for electronics in an automotive system. Thethesis work has been performed in cooperation with ENEA. Parts of the demonstrationplatform Self configurable High Availability and Policy based platform for Embeddedsystem (SHAPE) developed for the DySCAS project by ENEA have been used in theimplementation phase of this master thesis.The goal of this thesis was to evaluate how the Meteor MW, an offspring of the DySCASmiddleware, should handle QoS and to design a Quality of Service Manager (QoSM) for theMeteor MW that fulfilled hard real-time requirements. The thesis also had the objectiveof analysing and identifying the requirements on such a QoSM from a QoS perspective.Specifically the requirements to guarantee real-time support for Applications running onthe MW.

AbstractThe importance of good construction planning affects the final costs of the production and the timing of the project. Planning for building projects has been studied with the aim of identifying how three week planning appears in the construction industry today.A case study has been conducted in Navisworks Simulate to assess whether the software is suitable to connect the task schedule with the BIM model to create a 4D model. 4D models are used for performing 4D construction simulation to visualize the project. In order to use the benefits of the model, investment in equipment and software is required. This means higher costs for the companies.

The purpose of this study is to find out how IOGT-NTO conducted the debate about the Swedish negotiations with EU concerning the accession. The essay investigates how the debate was conducted between the years 1993, 1994 and 1995. A further distinction lies in five requirements IOGT-NTO delivered before the negotiations.The material for this study lies primarily in the editorial pages of IOGT-NTO's magazine Accent. The background content comes primarily from secondary sources and deals with the temperance movement and IOGT-NTO, and dealing with the EU and the Swedish alcohol policy.In July 1991, Sweden submitted its membership Application to EU and subsequently in the 1993 the negotiations began. During the same time IOGT-NTO began its debate on a possible EU membership in the Accent magazine.

Under de senaste åren har en ny trend inom spelindustrin uppstått då en stor del av spelen har gåtttillbaka till de tvådimensionella miljöerna som var vanligare i tv-spelens barndom, detta tack vareatt mobiltelefoner och deras spel har tagit allt större plats på marknaden och de är oftatvådimensionella på grund av sin begränsade hårdvara. De tvådimensionella spelen har enligttradition inte haft någon dynamisk ljussättning, utan de har bestått utav färdig grafik medförutbestämda intensiteter vilket gör att spelen kan se platta ut.Men inom andra områden av spelindustrin, framförallt tredimensionella spel, har utvecklingen avdynamiska ljussättningsmetoder kommit långt. Problemet med dessa metoder är att de kräverobjektens normaler, vilka normalt inte finns tillgängligt i tvådimensionella bilder.Idag är mobiltelefonerna kraftfulla och klarar av mycket tyngre beräkningar än vad de gjorde förbara några år sedan. Därför undersökte vi möjligheten att implementera dynamisk ljussättning i etttvådimensionellt spel på androidbaserade mobiltelefoner. För att genomföra detta krävdes också attvi undersökte metoder för att generera normaler för tvådimensionell grafik.För att ett fullständigt spel skulle kunna skapas så implementerades också saker somkollisionshantering, artificiell intelligens och procedurell generering av banor..

SCA is the largest private owned forest owner in Sweden, with an ownership of 2 million hectares of productive forestland. To manage the planning of such large areas and to fit the traditional organization structure of a Swedish forest company, the planning approach is subdivided into three stages; strategic, tactical and operational. The strategic part, based on a statistic sample of stands, returns a harvest level estimate which should then be implemented at actual sites in the tactical part. This procedure can lead to incompatible solutions as the strategic solution is not necessarily possible to translate into actual sites in the tactical plan. The geographic aspect is important in tactical planning due to the large costs for moving equipment and maintenance of a large number of forest roads.
