Hoppsasteg ? med känsla av glädje är ett examensprojekt som pågått under 20 veckor. Namnet har jag valt för att det är en känsla som jag vill uppnå under perioden. Syftet har varit att genomföra projektet med lust, göra figurativa, svartvita mönster med ett tecknat uttryck och att göra en flexibel möbel. Mönstren har ritats i tusch, det har tryckts på både tyg och tapet.

In this work we?ve been focusing on how to adjust educational computer games in order to make them suited for the educational context of upper secondary school. Our opinion and entrance to the study is that the related developers of the subject, in some ways, have failed to successfully combine and find the balance between the entertaining and pedagogical aspects in the games. Our main questions is which aspects in the games game developers need to take in consideration to satisfy the pupils, but also what qualities that is needed for them to function in their educational context. In order to do that we had to investigate the people of the target groups own perspective on what technological and social aspects in the computer games they assess as important.

A new phenomenon on the Internet is the online audience response. Mentimeter is a web-based tool where you can create online polls. The users can then cast a vote and the result is shown in real time. We want to test the information visualization in Mentimeter and we base our hypothesis, that a better graph design is possible, on the work of Edward Tufte and Stephen Few. Edward Tufte is an emeritus at Yale University, where he held courses in statistical evidence and information design and has created theories about how visual information should be designed.

Uppsatsen skildrar mitt examensarbete 2009 där syftet har varit att ta fram en behållare eller förpackning för smör. Arbetet har genomförts tillsammans med Emåmejeriet i Småländska Hultsfred, som nu vill utöka sitt sortiment med smör, inte bara i butikshyllorna utan även genom att lansera smöret på utvalda restauranger runtom i landet.Tanken har varit att försöka förhöja smöret och smörupplevelsen för kroggästenpå ett exklusivare sätt och med en ?touch? av Småland.Mitt val blev att formge en behållare istället för förpackning med anledning av att slit- och släng inte känns aktuellt med tanke på dagens strävan efter hållbar utveckling.Intervjuer har genomförts med krögare, serveringspersonal och gäster, samt observationer inom restaurangverksamheten.Här behandlas även reflektioner kring min egen roll som designer samt designprocessen och mina ställningstaganden under resans gång. Att arbeta som designer handlar inte bara om att ha ett öga för färg och form, lika viktigtär förståelsen av hur omgivningen agerar på den marknad man befinner sig. Man måste kunna sätta sig in i olika scenarier och roller som kräver en djupare förståelse av mig som formgivare.Löpande behandlar uppsatsen hur man som ny eller erfaren aktör på marknaden kan nå fram med sitt budskap och sälja sina produkter.

This graduation thesis is about baths and beach like places in city centers. It focuses on recreation and the creation and development of public, social spaces in the city containing water as a visual and useable element. The thesis is divided into three parts; background, inspiration and application. The background examines four factors which we consider important for the occurrence of inner city baths; water, the history of bathing, inner city recreation and social life in public places. A discussion of the (future) importance of inner city baths and beach like places' is then presented. The inspirational part is divided into examples of existing places and examples of types of places. The first is used in an attempt to examine the function and importance of inner city baths and beach like places as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with them. The latter contains a presentation of six categories developed by us to facilitate the planning of inner city baths and beach like places.

Inom kommunikationsbranschen råder det hög konkurrens om arbeten för både nyutexaminerade arbetssökande och de med erfarenhet. En viktig del i ansök-ningshandlingarna är en portfolio som visuellt visar personens kompetens och talang.Denna kvantitativa studie har genom en webbenkät med 50 byråer inom kom-munikationsbranschen undersökt hur de rekryterar ny personal samt deras per-spektiv kring portfolion i samband med detta. Studien har även syftat till att belysa skillnader i svaren beroende på byråernas storlek.Resultaten från enkäten visade att den vanligaste kanalen vid anställning inom kommunikationsbranschen är via personliga kontakter och att det är portfolions kvalité som väger tyngst vid anställning. Vid ansökan föredrog byråerna en digital portfolio men vid en arbetsintervju såg de helst en kombination av en fysisk och digital portfolio. Mindre skillnader fanns i svaren beroende på byrå-storleken..

Mitt examensarbete har gjorts i samarbete med Skrufs Glasbruk som är ett familjeföretag beläget i Småland. Skrufs Glasbruk står för klarglas, enkelt formspråk som görs på traditionellt sätt och inriktar sig på vardagliga bruks­föremål.Uppdraget gick ut på att formge en glasartefakt till hemmiljö, en värmeljus­lykta eller lampa, som ska passa in i Skrufs sortiment. Syftet har varit att öka förståelsen för samarbetet mellan mig som designer och min uppdragsgivare. Målet var att utveckla min kompetens inom glastillverkning i kombination med ljuset.Som utgångspunkt i mitt arbete har observationer och intervjuer gjorts samt ljustester löpande under hela projektet. I min designprocess har fokus legat på formarbetet och ITK (identity tool kit).

Background: The Swedish population is aging [1] and malnutrition is a common problem among elderly people [2]. A method called food registration is used to monitor the patients? nutritional intake, with the purpose of reducing the risk of patients deteriorating in nutritional status during hospitalisation. However, the current method is not satisfactory and many food registration lists are incomplete. [3-6] Thus, patients do not receive a qualitative nutritional care since the assessment of the patients? nutritional status is based on incomplete documentation.Purpose: The purpose of this master thesis is to increase the quality in the nutrition monitoring process in the geriatric units B72 and B74 at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, Sweden.

During the year 2014, Artex AB has worked to launch a new product whose function is to locally purify the air. The product is a headboard and its purpose is to give the user clean air while sleeping. The air purifier has different speeds and it`s up to the user to choose which effect that will be on. To get the best experience of the product as possible, the air purifier shall be controlled by a mobile application. In that way the user can increase and decrease the fan speed, even when the user not is home.

Customer satisfaction is a key aspect for many corporations, among them Exacta Distributionscenter. To raise their customer satisfaction, we have researched ways to raise customer satisfaction through the implementation of an error-handling system and recommendations on how the organization should function in the future. This paper describes how these recommendations and the application has been developed, through help in existing theories. This results in a customer portal with the main purpose to provide help in handling orders with errors, and several routines recommended to Exacta Distributionscenter. .

The competition in the growing fashion market is tuff, which makes it hard to reach the target costumers. Competition makes it difficult to reach out with a message and it is crucial to differentiate the company in the consumer market.Differentiation of the brand requires knowledge of competitors who are on the market. Understanding competitors, as well as the customer, is the basis for a well functioning communication. Different markets have different conditions and today's global market is complex.

Det har blivit allt vanligare att vi idag använder våra mobila enheter till att besöka webben. I detta examensarbete undersöks vilka centrala designprinciper en designer bör eftersträva när avsikten är att förenkla användningen av en webbplats i en statisk och en rörlig situation via den mobila enheten. Examensarbetet innefattar en litteraturgenomgång, observationsintervjuer vid två tillfällen och en prototyputveckling. Det första intervjutillfället identifierade de grundläggande designprinciperna som sedan stod till grund för prototypen. Det andra intervjutillfället genomfördes mot prototypen med samma individer.

Jag har ritat ett typsnitt åt Stadsbiblioteket Göteborg. Av typsnittetsom för tillfället består av 13 bokstäver har jag gjort en logotyp somjag sedan applicerat på fasadskylt, brevpapper, kuvert, visitkort, plastpåsesamt bokmärke.Anledningen till att jag har ritat ett typsnitt som examensarbete äratt jag inte visste hur man gjorde och att jag var nyfi ken på det. Dessutomville jag bredda min erfarenhet av det typografi ska området införmitt framtida yrkesliv som grafi sk designer. Att jag valde att specialritatypsnittet åt Stadsbiblioteket Göteborg beror på att jag behövde etttema att arbeta omkring och att jag gillar Stadsbiblioteket. Typsnittetskall förmedla Stadsbibliotekets positiva, vänliga intentioner och fåfolk att förstå dess kraft och mening.Merparten av projekttiden har jag använt till att framställa ochformge bokstäver vilket var mitt mål och mycket intressant att få göra.Under arbetets gång har jag fått tips om bra arbetsmetoder både frånkollegor och från experter men också uppfunnit egna.För min personliga utveckling har det varit ett bra arbete som harbåde breddat och fördjupat mina kunskaper på det typografi ska området..
