This thesis is the final part of bachelors program of Nuclear Engineering at UppsalaUniversity (program code KKI1). The work has been carried out in cooperation withForsmark Kraftgrupp AB. The topic studied deals with possible improvements ofefficiency at the planning department at block 2 in Forsmark i.e. FMP2.FMP2 plans and coordinates over 3,000 operations which is carried out during theannual overhaul of block 2 in Forsmark. Forest biomass is becoming an increasingly important source of renewable energy, and thereby the demand is increasing. There is currently 213 000 km of forest roads in Sweden that could be suitable for biomass harvesting. Harvest of biomass along forest roads both provides biomass and maintains the quality of the roads. Currently, the volume of biomass along roads can only be assessed post harvest, chipping and industry deliverance. As the decision of whether or not to harvest should preferably be based on more than experience, the TJ-method has been proposed. The TJ-method is a subjective method to quickly determine the dry matter quantity with the assessment being conducted from the roadside.

In a condominium with two-apartment buildings, lies an area, formerly used as a playground, nowadays wasted and abandoned. The owner wanted to embellish the place and get a new use for it, preferably as a gathering- and feast-place. The work is described with focus on the construction with describing pictures and sketches. The production of the sketches is not reported more than that they are attached at the end of the paper. Det övergripande syftet med denna studie var att jämföra volymtillväxten i skog skött enligt principen Naturkultur, genom olika starka höggallringar, med skog skött enligt traditionellt trakthyggesbruk. För att besvara frågeställningarna hur volymtillväxt och inväxning skiljer sig mellan de olika behandlingarna utfördes en fältinventering, under sommaren 2012, av ett försök anlagt 1990-91. Försökslokalen var belägen i Åliden, 64ºN 20ºE, cirka 35 kilometer norr om Umeå. Försöket var anlagt i en sydvästsluttning 155 meter över havet och var tänkt att representera Västerbottens kustland. Försöket i Åliden ingick i en serie om tolv block med fyra behandlingar per block. Behandlingarna var dels två naturkulturbehandlingar där skog lämnats (Gles och Tät), en naturkulturbehandling där 90 procent av skogen avverkats och en behandling enligt traditionellt trakthyggesbruk (Kal och Kont).

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att se vilka material som är lämpliga att använda vid dammbyggnad samt vilka nedbrytande faktorer som verkar på konstruktionen under dess livslängd. Arbetet förklarar även vilka tekniker, så som erosionsskydd, som används för att skydda dammkonstruktionen samt även de olika laster som dammen utsätts för. Kontinuerlig nedbrytning av dammen kan ge dammhaverier vilket i sin tur kan ge katastrofala konsekvenser. Det är därför viktigt att det material som väljs till dammbyggnad kan stå emot de nedbrytande processer som finns under en lång tidsperiod. På de äldre dammkonstruktionerna används vanligen erosionsskydd av dumpat oordnat material medan Vattenfall rekommenderar erosionsskydd av ordnade homogena block på de renoveringar och nybyggnationer som utförs.

The closed, isolated and often anonymous life in the high building opens up through gardens. Detta examensarbetet har gått ut på att konstruera ROM-minnen med liten effektförbrukning.Genom att vi undersökt olika geometriska strukturer i form av kolumnuppdelning så har simuleringsresultaten visat god geometri med liten strömförbrukning. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.

The biggest housing operator is in a place where they must tear down a lot of buildings because they do not have enough tenants. But what do people really want in an apartment and in the surroundings? What is needed to make it attractive? Introduktion/Syfte. Intresset för och användandet av adhesiv cementering av keramiska material har ökat under de senaste åren. Detta har lett till ett ökat intresse att kunna jämföra olika studiers resultat med varandra och därmed har även intresset för att utveckla internationella standarder inom forskning ökat. Syftet med denna studie var att jämföra den adhesiva bindningsstyrkan mellan ett laboratorieframställt material innehållande kvartsmjölsförstärkt epoxyresin (Sipoxy), med emalj och dentin. Detta för att avgöra om Sipoxy kan användas som en standardiserad ersättning istället för tänder i in vitro studier som utvärderar bondade keramiska rekonstruktioner. Material & metod.
