Påverkar fysisk aktivitet det psykiska välbefinnandet, med inriktning fysisk självuppfattning och självkänsla, hos äldre?
Studier som berör ämnet hur fysisk aktivitet påverkar det psykiska välbefinnandet hos äldre är något som berör alla. Fysisk aktivitet har i tidigare forskning visat sig påverka båda den fysiska och psykiska hälsan positivt. Mycket forskning är gjord på området, dock är de äldre underrepresenterade som målgrupp inom området. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning fysisk aktivitet påverkar det psykiska välbefinnandet, med inriktning självkänsla och fysisk självuppfattning, hos äldre. Undersökningen innefattade en experimentell undersökningsmetod med en randominiserad, kontrollerad design.

Arbetskonflikt, syskonplacering och partnerstatus
Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns skillnader i konfliktbenägenhet på arbetet beroende på syskonplacering och partnerstatus. Deltagarna var till största delen tågresenärer med en medelålder på 39 år. N= 174. Instrumentet bestod av en enkät med en standardiserad del, NEO-PI-R, som mätte personlighetsegenskapen agreeableness samt en nykonstruerad del som mätte arbetskonflikt. Skalan har fått namnet work-conflict scale (WCS).
Anställda med ångest- och depressionssyndrom : Individers röster om upplevda anpassningar i arbetsmiljön
Ångest och depression spås om fem år tillhöra några av världens största folksjukdomar (World Health Organization, 2001). Stigmatisering av psykiska besvär hos individer innebär att många med psykisk ohälsa exkluderas från arbetsmarknaden (Socialdepartementet, 2012). Att individer med psykisk ohälsa arbetar innebär dock vinster på individ-, organisations-, och samhällsnivå (CEPI, 2012). Syftet med studien är därmed att undersöka hur arbetsmiljön för anställda med ångest- och depressionssyndrom har anpassats utifrån den anställdes förutsättningar. Studiens fokus är att belysa vilka faktorer som påverkade att anpassningarna genomfördes.
En jämförelse av inre arbetsmotivation och arbetstillfredsställelse hos anställda vid två kommunala förvaltningar med olika personalomsättning
Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur inre motivation och arbetstillfredsställelse är relaterat till hög respektive låg personalomsättning och vad som är viktigt i valet att stanna på sin arbetsplats. Studien genomfördes som en enkätundersökning på två kommunala förvaltningar, varav en hade hög personalomsättning och en hade låg personalomsättning. Enkäten var uppdelad i tre delar med sammanlagt 49 frågor och besvarades av totalt 249 personer. De mätinstrument som användes var BNS (Basic Need Satisfaction at work Scale) som mäter inre arbetsmotivation utifrån SDT (Self-Determination Theory) och MSQ (Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire) som mäter inre och yttre arbetstillfredsställelse. Resultatet visade att förvaltningen med hög personalomsättning hade högre yttre arbetstillfredsställelse än förvaltningen med låg personalomsättning. .

AbstractPurpose/Aim: The purpose of this paper was to identify the communication process at the company Cherry casino and see what opinions the employees had about it. Moreover, an evaluation of the used strategies was done and an analysis about what perhaps could be done to improve the attitude, communication and in the end the result for the company.Material/Method: The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews and theory application.Main results: The transmission of information regarding the regular work related information works just fine and the channels used are well chosen. But more large-scale information that deals with the company?s plans, strategies and targets is not handled in the right way. Neither is the respond.
Locus of control, syskonplacering och kön : Finns det några samband?
The purpose of this study was to examine if there was a relation between birth order, gender and locus of control. There where 162 participants in the study, 44 men, 115 women. Birth order was coded into three levels. There where no significant differences between birth order and locus of control. The result showed that female participants where more external when it came to locus of control.
Demand and perception of fertilizer : among small-holder farmers in Kenya
Hunger is a problem in some parts of the world (www, FAO 1, 2012). The lack of food is often a result of insufficient knowledge in soil fertility management (Röing de Nowina, 2012). Ongoing hunger and malnourishment are quite prevalent in Sub-Saharan Africa and are often combined with poverty (www, FAO 1, 2012). Farming is the most common occupation in this area and the farms are often small-scale farms with subsistence crops and a few cattle. The farmers who operate these small-scale farms are economically a weak group.

Burn injuries often make the patient suffer from pain, anxiety and lack of a social life. Sister Callista Roy´s theory was used to analyze the result of the study. One of her goal is to promote the adaptive function of self-perception.
