The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the ideas that have influenced parents' choice of a Christian private school and how parents justify their choices. The essay also aims to examine the expectations that parents have in the schools, as well as the pros and cons as they consider private school compared to other schools.My study is based on qualitative data collected through interviews with parents who have chosen to place one or more of their children in a specific Christian private school. Using a qualitative approach has made it possible for me to get a deeper understanding of this investigation. I have also used the previous research on this field and theoretical starting points to explain and connect to my inquiry as Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the school Weber document types and identity in a multicultural society.The study shows that parents seek to or from the public school due to various reasons. To seek out a Christian private school depends on different reasons.

Since the year of 2000 it has been legal for companies in Sweden to repurchases their own stocks. The purpose of this study is to examine if it has been possible to make a positive abnormal return in Stockholmsbörsen by buying stocks in companies that has announced a buyback program. Our study includes 59 companies that have accomplished a buyback program throw the years of 2000 to 2006. To calculate the abnormal return we use the BHAR method with Affärsvärldens generalindex and branchindex as benchmarks. The result shows a significant positive abnormal return of 23,56 percent the first 12 month after the announcement with Affärsvärldens generalindex as benchmark.

När eleverna väljer till gymnasiet genomför ett flertal av dem ett byte av program i nära anslutning till skolstart. Undersökningen tittar närmare på omvalet och kan komma att vara ett stöd för samtliga yrkeskategorier inom skolan som möter elever inför gymnasievalet. Studie- och yrkesvägledare inom skolan skall vara ett stöd i personalgruppens studie- och yrkesorienterande insatser vilket gör resultatet relevant för deras yrkesutövning. Syftet med undersökningen är att få veta vilka aktiviteter som kan ha haft betydelse för ungdomars val till gymnasieskolan samt vilka de viktigaste anledningarna till omval varit. Som metod har en kvantitativ enkät med semistrukturerade frågor använts.

I denna litteraturstudie så belyser vi ett på senare tid större problem som finns både i skolan men även i hemmet, detta fenomen kallas för e-mobbning. Den traditionella mobbningen har funnits i åratal men gentemot teknikens utveckling så har även mobbningen utvecklats och sker nu även via datorer och mobiltelefoner. I denna studie så står skolans samt föräldrarnas handlande i centrum när det gäller att motverka e-mobbning, dessutom så undersöks det även hur delaktigheten samt utsatthet ser ut bland könen, hur ser fördelningen ut när det gäller just delaktighet och utsatthet. Vi har tagit del av ett flertal vetenskapliga studier där vi har fått våra svar ifrån. Det finns gott om olika sorters lösningar på hur man kan förminska e-mobbningen där det tydligt visar sig att elevens/barnets del är väldigt viktigt, att den säger till när det sker e-mobbning.

This thesis studies the negative impact that control signal saturation may have on a controlled system. Different methods that are used to compensate for this problem are also studied and evaluated. Both sensitivity to disturbances and the effect the method has on the systems'ability to follow a reference signal will be examined. Stability will be discussed, but no conclusions whether the systems are stabilized or not can be drawn. Control signal saturation will lead to a slower behavior in general.

 Since the 28thof May the project to develop an internal Innovation Leadership Program (ILP)on Accenture has been running and came to an end in November the same year. The taskwas formed into a master thesis and given to two students at the Royal Institute ofTechnology in Sweden.Since the start the content and structure of the ILP has been established based on the resultsof a theoretical study, a gap analysis and an external and internal benchmarking. The theoreticalstudy focused on articles, books and lectures about innovation, creativity and pedagogy. Subjectssuch as leadership, motivation, reflection and coaching were studied as well, but in a smaller scale.The gap analysis consisted of eleven interviews with people from different career levels withinAccenture and the goal was to establish the view of innovation and creativity among the employees.The interviews also asked about the knowledge the participants had about Technology Lab in orderto get insight of how to improve their communication and cooperation with people in client projects.Internally a similar program was studied called Minority Leadership program, whom will not bedescribed further in this report, to get inspiration. The external benchmarking was conducted onStanford and was very successful.

Physical activity is required for a good health and science shows a clear connection between exercise and a lower risk for disease. Still, the physical activity among the population is far from good. It is the individuals own responsibility to exercise, but the society also has a responsibility to give opportunities to exercise for the population. The aim with the study was to investigate what motivated the group of physical active people to use the Central hospital in Kristianstad?s health program.

I denna uppsats har en undersökning av studenters alkoholvanor gjorts. Syftet med arbetet var att få en uppfattning om första års programstudenters alkoholvanor vid Högskolan Dalarna campus Borlänge. Följande frågeställningar belyses i studien: Hur ofta och hur mycket dricker studenter vid respektive program, hur ser kvinnornas alkoholvanor ut jämfört med männens, samt om alkoholvanorna skiljer sig mellan programmen.Jag har använt mig av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning där totalt 60 studenter från tre olika program har medverkat. Studenterna går första året på Högskolan Dalarna och är i åldrarna 19-24 år. De program som undersöktes var Grafisk teknologi och design, Materialdesign samt Ekonomprogrammet.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att utreda klimatsimuleringsprogrammen IDA-ICE och WUFI, hur dessa program kan komplettera varandra och användas till simulering av kyrktorn som blivit byggda i sten. IDA-ICE har av tidigare utredningar klargjort att detta program inte redovisa fuktlagring i konstruktioner vilket WUFI gör, därav valet till dessa program. Klimatsimuleringarna utförs i Nässjö gamla kyrkas torn som är byggt av stenblock som sammanfogats med kalkbruk.Utredningen görs med hjälp av klimatloggar som mäter temperatur och relativ fuktighet. Dessa mätinstrument placeras ut i Nässjö gamla kyrkas torn för mätning. Värdena för klimatloggarna jämförs med simuleringarnas värden från IDA-ICE och WUFI.Klimatsimuleringarna visar sig inte ge samma värden av temperatur eller relativ fuktighet gentemot klimatloggarnas uppmätta värden.
