Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) ingår i den stora verkstadskoncernen Sandvik. SMT utvecklar, tillverkar och säljer rostfria och höglegerade specialmetaller, motståndsmaterial samt processystem. SMT tillverkar bland annat trådprodukter för flera olika ändamål.En viss del av det material som används i produktionsanläggningen för trådprodukter lagras på så kallade pikställage i ett inomhuslager. Bakgrunden till arbetet är att de befintliga lagerställagen är föråldrade och i dåligt skick. Dessa kan under olyckliga omständigheter utgöra en risk för personskada vid hantering av material.

Vid utveckling av nya system finns det flera olika modeller/metoder att använda sig av, till exempel prototyping eller vattenfallsmodellen. Denna uppsats beskriver hur utvecklingen avett webbaserat system för registrering av datorer kan ske med hjälp av vattenfallsmetoden. Fokus på detta arbete ligger förutom själva utvecklandet av registret också på dokumenteringen av de olika stegen som följts enligt vattenfallsmodellen. Detta arbeteförsöker också svara på om denna modell är lämplig att använda vid utvecklingen av liknande system. Children's Need In Focus (BBIC) is a processing and documentation system used in child welfare cases to investigate, plan and monitor interventions. The BBIC has had a breakthrough in Sweden and out of the country's 290 municipalities, there are 284 that use the system daily as a tool in cases involving children. The purpose of this study was to examine how social workers experience the BBIC as a working system and what strengths and weaknesses there are in the BBIC concept. We wanted our study to examine how the BBIC could possibly enhance the quality of childcare matters, but also how the BBIC could potentially increase children's participation in cases. We have performed qualitative interviews with eight social workers who work in four different municipalities where the BBIC is applied daily.

Planerandet för resande i dagens samhälle inleds för merparten av världens turister på internet och andelen som gör det ökar ständigt. Informationssökande om platser och dess utbud samt bokning av reserelaterade produkter och tjänster utgör en stor del av planeringsfasen. Tidigare studier har visat att webbplatser för turism överlag inte är anpassade efter det som turister efterfrågar på internet under planeringsfasen av en resa. Därför uppstår viss problematik.De värmländska kommunernas webbplatser för besöksnäringen är i de allra flesta fall en del av de kommunala webbplatserna. Studier om kommunala webbplatser tillgänglighet visar på att mer än hälften av Värmlands kommuner placerar sig vid den nedre halvan av rankingen.

ROS är ett produktnära system som stödjer planering och återrapportering i stålverket. Sandvik vill undersöka möjligheterna att modernisera användargränssnittet på detta system som idag är terminalbaserat till ett modernt grafiskt interface. Två metoder analyseras, den ena innebär att använda en kommersiell produkt för screen scraping och den andra metoden är Web Services Integration Toolkit som är freeware. Resultatet från analysen visar att Web Services Integration Toolkit klarar av att uppfylla de mål som är satta. En testkörning av Web Services Integration Toolkit görs också på ROS och resultat visar att metoden fungerar även fungerar i praktiken..

Långtidssjukskrivningar är ett folkhälsoproblem i Sverige liksom i hela västvärlden, ett problem som är mer utbrett bland kvinnor än bland män. Projekt Vitalis följde 312 kvinnor i Uppsala län som utförsäkrades och som före inskrivning i det arbetsmarknadspolitiska programmet Arbetslivsintroduktion (Intro) randomiserades till två interventionsgrupper samt en kontrollgrupp. Denna uppsats är en delstudie i Vitalis med huvudsaklig avsikt att jämföra studiedeltagarnas erfarenheter och upplevelser av Intro, beroende på om de ingått i Vitalis interventionsgrupper eller i kontrollgruppen. Vitalis genomfördes som en RCT med enkätmätningar vid fem tillfällen. I denna delstudie används enkätmaterial från två mättillfällen, vid projektets start samt efter avslutat deltagande i Intro, 6-7 månader efter projektstart. Deltagare i interventionsgrupperna upplevde insatser och aktiviteter i Intro som anpassade efter individens behov och förutsättningar i högre grad än dem i kontrollgrupppen.

 SammanfattningKravhanteringsprocessen är en av de viktigaste faserna vid utvecklandet av ett IT-system. Kravhantering är alltså grundläggande för att utveckla ett stabilt system som uppfyller beställarens önskemål. Med en väl utförd kravhantering som grund får man ett system som är fritt från bristfälliga fel, utvecklandet av systemet går även till på ett effektivare sätt. Vid byggandet av ett system eftersträvar man alltid en framgångsrik mjukvara. Kravhantering ses som den viktigaste faktorn vid utvecklandet av ett IT-system.Föreliggande studie genomförs som en litteraturstudie där undersöks vilka brister som är vanligt förekommande under kravhanteringsprocessen.

The computer consultant company Create in Lund AB wishes to facilitate their invoice routines, as it at present is required that the administration finds and compares information from two different systems.The purpose of this thesis is to develop an invoice management system that simplifies the invoice management process for the administration at Create. During the development of the system, I have chosen to follow the software development process Unified Process and also tried to find design patterns that can be applied to the integration.The result of my project is a self-contained application developed using the Java programming language that communicates with the databases of the other two systems and presents relevant information to the user as a set of invoices. Of the 23 design patterns I studied, I used four of them in the invoice management system. However I couldn?t find any connection between any design pattern and the integration of systems.

In past decades information technology has changed the conditions of organizations, not at least within the industry. Advanced IT systems have become a fact in order to cope with rapid changes in the market and to effectively manage an organization?s knowledge. When organizations became more flexible and customized expectations from customers and stakeholders also become higher. These expectations and guidelines are documented in a company?s management system, which can be designed differently depending on what standards the company chooses to implement.

This report is the result of a thesis work done at the Department of Engineering Sciences, Uppsala University, and includes 15 ECTS points. The work has been performed at Företag A, a company specializing in electronics whose major product has become a sophisticated tool used by authorities across northern Europe. Företag A has initiated a quality management system according to the criteria set by ISO 9001. Following demands from customers, Company A has now decided to also start working towards a certification according to SS-EN ISO 9001:2008, this work is the foundation for the thesis work. The thesis work has been limited to the production process and the aim has been to enable this process to be certified according to ISO 9001:2008. The work has been performed by analyzing the existing quality management system and the requirements for each process included, whereby the gap between the current and the target state has been mapped. Suggestions have then been made on how this gap can be filled, some of these suggestions have also been carried out during the thesis work. The conclusions drawn are that quality management does not have to be complicated, but quickly becomes so when the complexity of the processes increases.

Idag finns det 5200 mjölkföretag i Sverige varav 69 procent tillämpar ett uppbundet system. Regeringen föreslår att Jordbruksverket bestämmer ett slutdatum för mjölkproduktion i uppbundet system. Målet är att förbättra djurvälfärden för nötkreatur. För den enskilde lantbrukaren innebär ett förbud mot uppbundet system ett vägval mellan att avveckla eller investera i mjölkproduktionen. Vid ett stoppdatum för uppbundet system kan det uppstå kapitalförluster för de mjölkproducenter som tvingas avveckla i form av en minskad arbets- och kapitalinkomst.

 AbstractSystem methodology is in the very heart of system development, it is a crucial part of how you define your work, how you choose to approach the actual problem at hand and how to solve it. Researchers in the system development field has shown that not all methods in theory are in compliance with how it is practiced by the companies who use them. In our thesis we have studied a larger international IT- company and one of their local offices in Sweden, who some years back changed their system development method from a more traditional to an agile one. Our aim of this study has been to establish whether both of these methods has differed between theory and in actual use, and if so, why this has occurred and what the underlying rationality might have been to promote this change. Our questions that we sought to answer were; 1.

One of our reasons is that we think the subject usability is interesting, is that we think it is an important. Usability is maybe the most important element when you develop or choose a system because it can save money for the companies and give the users a more delightful and better work environment. The aim of the investigation is to find out if the implementation of a web portal is a direction to reach higher usability in a complex system that consists of several different interacting applications. Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete för högskoleingenjörsexamen i elektroteknik vid Växjö Universitet. Syftet är att konstruera ett styrsystem till en robotbil, ett program som hindrar bilen från att krocka med omgivningen. Roboten ska även kunna styras från en dator via ett grafiskt gränssnitt implementerat i Labview. Nödvändig hårdvara för styrning och kommunikation har konstruerats.Det har behövts tre olika programmeringsspråk för att nå de krav som har ställts på uppgiften, C, Perl och Labview. Microprocessorn i robotbilen har programmerats i C och gör bilen helt autonom, endast beroende av signaler från avståndssensorer.

Denna uppsats behandlar den nya prototypen för radiosystem som tagits fram inom projektet GTRS. Systemet jämförs med det äldre taktiska radiosystemet Radio 180 för att få fram vad som egentligen skiljer mellan dessa. Därefter behandlas Nordic Battlegroup 2011, där det utreds vilka uppgifter förbandet skall klara av och några typfall baserat på uppgifterna. Uppbyggnad och funktion för förbandets sambandssystem beskrivs också där själva kommunikationsnätet från Sverige till missionsområde avhandlas. Även de olika radioapparaterna som nyttjas och deras användningsområde behandlas.
