BackgroundSexual health is affected by disease, dysfunction and disability but can also be experienced in spite of illness. To get a deeper knowledge of what the nurse does for the patients the background is written with the support of the holistic care and Katie Eriksson theoretical perspectives health and suffering.AimThe aim of this study is to describe the factors to why nurses do not prioritize patients' sexual health in the nursing care.MethodA literature review based on nine qualitative and quantitative studies focusing on the barriers perceived by the nurses to address sexual health.ResultThe result of this study showed that the barriers were many. Factors related to nurses unwillingness to talk to patients about sexuality and sexual health were difficulties in nurses' psychosocial work environment and lacking competence concerning sexual health. The fact that sexuality is a sensitive subject, factors related to the patient and that it was someone else's responsibility to raise the topic were other factors that made it difficult.ConclusionWe conclude that a stressed workplace where there is a lack of time and stress along with a poor education and uncertainty leads to no grasp of the subject and the problem slides between health professionals. Patients' sexual health remains untreated.

The mouse (Mus musculus) is the most commonly used mammal in biomedical research and can easily be restrained by both hand and by a device. Restraining animals causes stress that not only decreases the animal?s wellbeing, but may also influence the research results. The first aim of this study was to train mice to voluntarily stand still using positive reinforcement training. Another benefit of teaching a mouse to stand still is that you can avoid anaesthesia for some procedures.

In article 1.2 c) EC regulation 852/2004 it says that the regulation is not applicable to producers who directly supply small quantities of primary products to the final consumer or to the local retailers who in their turn directly supply the final consumer. An almost identical regulation can be found in article 1.3 c) EC regulation 853/2004. The supply by a primary producer of small quantities of primary products, of animal origin or not, are consequently excepted from these two hygiene regulations. In article 1.3 EC regulation 852/2004 and article 1.4 EC regulation 853/2004 it says that the member states are to establish national rules in their national legislation as to the regulation of exception for small quantities. The aim of this study was to investigate the handling of small quantities of primary products distributed locally in Sweden but also the handling of these products in other countries.

Today there is an even higher demand on IT-projects success rate compared to a few years ago. IT-projects must be handled more efficiently and result in a more profitable investment. In order to make the handling of IT-projects more efficient and create profitability the developers must have a broad understanding of the IT-projects characteristics and which factors that affect the result of the projects. Changes within IT-projects are often carried out through the development of a system. Since this change is more common when it comes to IT-projects it is important to handle risk and change within these kinds of projects in order to prevent and avoid uncontrolled changes.

 Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur avståndstagandet från sexuell praktik ? det vill säga asexualitet ? problematiseras inom vardagliga kanaler, så som inom film och media. I det samtida samhället utgör den heterosexuellt aktiva parrelationen en norm utifrån vilken alla andra intima relationer jämförs, granskas och bedöms. Genom att analysera och dekonstruera denna sexualitetsdiskurs traditionellt tvingande praxis, lägger uppsatsen vidare fokus på att synliggöra den asexuella erfarenheten i relation till nämnd heteronorm. Uppsatsens material utgörs av tre filmer som på sina respektive sätt presenterar, och samtalar kring, sex, sexualitet och sexuell identitet.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur unga HBT-kvinnor (homosexuella, bisexuella och transpersoner) som blivit utsatta för diskriminering, kränkningar, hot, hat och våld på grund av sexuell läggning/identitet talar om hotet, våldet och utsattheten och hur de upplever om-givningens syn på deras sexualitet och omgivningens reaktioner på hotet/våldet. Jag vill även undersöka hur dessa upplevelser påverkar deras självbild, deras sätt att hantera upplevelserna och deras sätt att uttrycka sin sexuella identitet.Mina teoretiska utgångspunkter är socialkonstruktionism och poststrukturalism, med fokus på queerteori, feministisk teori och diskursanalys. Datainsamlingen baseras på kvalitativa inter-vjuer. Genom att fokusera på tre teman, händelser, uteblivet stöd och konsekvenser tolkas (läses) materialet med hjälp av diskursanalys, ett narrativt perspektiv och genom att tydliggöra vilka (o)möjliga positioner som deltagarna i studien intar till den dominerande diskursen. I HBT-tjejernas berättelser får vi del av en komplex bild av utsatthet på grund av sexuell läggning.

Eleven interviews with nine different persons have been carried out. The Swedish cooperative Lantmännen Ekonomiska Förening has initiated a project labelled "Operation Blåljus" that includes an extensive program for closing down elevators. The number of elevators will be reduced from 92 to approximately 15 after harvest of 2007. The objective of Blåljus is to increase the price of grain with 10 öre/kg. A project has been initiated at the Lantmännen Grain division where the purpose is to provide the farmers with support in their decisions and practical advice how they can load a 35 ton grain truck on 30 minutes. The result from the project will serve as a support system to the farmer in his ambition to achieve cost efficient systems to load a truck with grain on the farm.

I denna uppsats vill vi skapa förståelse för Executive Coachings påverkan på handling och interaktion i organisationers implementeringsprocesser, det vill säga verksamhetsstyrning. Studien är utförd ur ett aktörsperspektiv och behandlar fem coachade chefers upplevelse och syn på hur coachningsprocessen påverkat den egna organisationens styrningsprocess. I studien behandlar vi grunderna för handling och interaktion, kommunikation, dominans och sanktioner. Executive Coaching förväntas utveckla förståelse för interaktiva processer och hur individen och gruppen påverkas i dessa. Studien resultat motsvarar det förväntade utfallet hos den coachade ledaren.

This work studied the information flow and information handling among different parties. The study focused on how educational materials on national tests from The Swedish National Agency for Education is managed by school principals and teachers and how the information is passed on to students. The data material was based on observations and interviews at two different high schools. Six teachers and their classes and principals participated in the study. The Agency was also interviewed.

Då giraffens föda utgörs endast av blad, löv och knoppar, trots att det är den största idisslaren som lever idag, har dess anatomi genomgått en serie av anpassningar för att kunna överleva på denna föda. Till det yttre har den under evolutionens gång utvecklat en otrolig längd som gör att den når långt upp över alla andra idisslare, och till det inre har dess mag-tarmsystem anpassat sig efter födans egenskaper. Giraffens huvud har en avlång form och behåring på läpparna som ska skydda den från trädens stickiga försvar, en tunga som kan bli upp till en halvmeter lång, och tuggmuskler som har anpassats till den relativt lättuggade maten. Förmagarna har i sin tur minskat i storlek och kraft och fått ett anpassat utseende och utbredning på dess papiller, och tarmen har en liten ratio tunn/tjocktarm. Giraffens cirkulation har fått anpassa sig till stora höjdskillnader, då giraffen kan sträcka sig upp till ett träd och bli mer än fyra meter lång, men i nästa stund böja sig ner för att dricka vatten på marknivå. Som följd av dess längd har dräktiga och lakterande honor, samt växande ungdjur, en väldigt hög kalcium- och fosfatomsättning i kroppen och kan därför lida brist på dessa mineraler. Den drivande kraften bakom giraffens längdutveckling har länge sagts vara övertaget den ger vid födosök, men det finns även en annan teori som baserar sig på att den drivits av sexuell evolution..

This essay seeks to analyze the consequences of modern information and communication technology for collective action within the framework of social movements. With references to the protests in Seattle 1999, the essay argues that the emergence of distributed collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet. This distributed collective action can be characterized by its decentralized and self-organizing features, forming a global pattern emerging from local interactions. Whereas contemporary theories of collective action can be ´stretched´ to fit these aspects, they lack analytical tools to describe and analyze such systems. Further, their rejection of classical crowd theory is problematic, since it contains valuable insights.
