Health care costs in relation to GDP are escalating all over Europe and the Swedish health care industry is not an exception. Between 30 and 50 percent of resources used in health care are considered waste, in the sense that they don't contribute to increased health. This illustrates the big need for hospitals to become more efficient which is why many hospitals today are trying to move towards a process-oriented organization. This paper therefore aims to identify the elements necessary for this type of organizational change, the barriers encountered when moving from a functional to process oriented hospital as well as how to overcome them. The case study was conducted at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset and shows the importance of not just transmitting a sense of urgency but also communicating that the upcoming change is long term.

Entreprenöriellt lärande (EL) är en pedagogisk form baserad på bl.a. arbetspsykologi och entreprenörskapsteori som anammats av en mängd skolor i Sverige på senare år. Eftersom EL innebär en övergripande reform av skolverksamheten kan matematikämnet i längden inte stanna kvar i gamla mönster. Denna uppsats söker knyta det entreprenöriella lärandets teori till vedertagen matematikdidaktisk forskning samt skapa en bild av hur matematikundervisning kan bedrivas ur ett EL-perspektiv med hjälp av en grupp lärares beskrivningar av sitt eget arbete. Genom att bjuda in matematiklärarna på John Bauergymnasierna att delta i en onlineenkät med öppna frågor ämnade vi skapa en verklighetsbaserad bild av den entreprenöriella pedagogiken.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att ta reda på lärares och specialpedagogers förhållningssätt gentemot pedagogisk hantering av elever som saknar diagnos men har ett åtgärdsprogram. För att besvara studiens frågeställningar har både kvalitativ och kvantitativ metodansats valts samt kombinerats. Resultatet bygger på frågeställningarnas tre teman: åtgärdsprogrammets nytta, undervisningens utformning samt kriterier för utvärdering och revidering.Resultatet visar att dessa frågor är komplexa dilemman bestående av flera beståndsdelar, dels på grund av spänningen mellan målstyrning och enskilda skolors specifika omständigheter och dels utifrån pedagogernas skilda uppfattningar om pedagogik och specialpedagogik..

Image indexing research today is either conducted on a visual attribute level or on a higher semantic level, forming a semantic gap between the two. There is much to gain if research progress from the two fields is combined. Image retrieval using access points in both visual and semantic significations could improve retrieval and bridge the gap. In social media today, images are often the primary communication agent and the number of images on the web is increasing in an uncontrolled way. New and efficient ways to index and retrieve the images are needed.The purpose of this study is to examine if emotions could be a semantic access point for image retrieval and if folksonomy indexing is useful when searching for images that represent emotions.

Denna undersökningen är ett försök att se hur mycket av ämnesundervisning, kursplan och kursmål som kan rymmas inom serietecknande som (undervisnings) metod. Genom att knyta an till elevers egen kulturkonsumtion hoppas jag kunna knyta an ny kunskap till det eleven redan är bekant med. Serier blir då här som en brygga mellan det de redan vet och det de ska lära. Arbetet genomförs genom undervisningsförsök som vetenskaplig metod och genom diskursanalys av seriemediet. Jag tycker mig se genom detta arbete att man ur det seriemassiga, serierna i sig och serierelaterat innehåll i allmänhet, kan skapa en pedagogisk metod för bildämnet.Detta är ett s.k.

Denna studie syftar till att bidra med kunskap om vilka betydelser som skrivs fram i yngre elevers narrativa texter. Hur pojkar och flickor förhåller sig till genus när de skriver berättelser och hur deras berättelser kan förstås i förhållande till den systemiskt funktionella grammatiken är denna studies huvudfokus. Genom institutionen för pedagogik, didaktik och utbildningsstudier fick vi ta del av redan insamlat material. Data för vår studie utgjordes av 18 texter skrivna av elever i årskurs 2 vid ett enskilt tillfälle. Med systemisk funktionell grammatik som teoretisk bas utfördes en transitivitetsanalys och en ergativitetsanalys, för att besvara följande frågeställningar: Med vilka processtyper realiseras mening i de olika elevtexterna? Hur skrivs agentivitet och påverkanskraft (ergativitet) fram i processerna? Hur samspelar agentivitet och genusidentitet i texterna med skribenternas kön? Vi fann att relationella och materiella processer är vanligast förekommande i både pojkar och flickors texter.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva verksamma förskollärares uppfattningar om reflektion i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Reflektion framhålls i uppsatsen som en möjlighet till ett riktat och strukturerat fokus och tänkande gentemot lärande. Den pedagogiska dokumentationen benämns som ett gemensamt reflektionsunderlag för att synliggöra, problematisera och kritiskt granska den pedagogiska verksamheten och diskurser i riktning mot barns utveckling och lärande. Studien baserades på kvalitativa intervjuer där fem förskollärares uppfattningar om reflektion beskrevs utifrån tre forskningsfrågor. Resultatet visar en allmän uppfattning av reflektionen där ett fördjupat lärande och kritiskt reflekterande förhållningssätt kan möjliggöras, men som i dagsläget befinner sig på en alltför ytlig nivå.

Syftet med undersökningen var att få en ökad förståelse för biologilärares inställning till sambandet mellan lärande och undervisning av biologi med utomhuspedagogik som pedagogisk metod. Frågor som vi också ställde var vilka faktorer som främjar respektive begränsar användandet av utomhuspedagogik. Undersökningen som var av en kvalitativ karaktär baserades på enkätundersökning med biologilärare på högstadie-, gymnasie- och universitetsnivå. Resultatet av undersökningen visade på att det finns flertalet faktorer som påverkar användandet av utomhuspedagogik. Undersökningen visade även att det finns tre olika typer av biologilärare som använder sig av utomhuspedagogik i olika stor utsträckning.

Based upon The Bologna Process and UPC.In a near future several of the European countries will begin working after new guidelines concerning a declaration called the Bologna process. I studien Lärares tankar om skolledare, Sjöstrand-Lorenzatti (2005) var slutsatsen att lärare ville ha tydliga pedagogiska ledare som verkade nära dem i det dagliga arbetet. Denna uppsats är en uppföljning på ovanstående arbete med den skillnaden att frågan nu ställdes till rektorer om deras syn på vad det innebär att vara pedagogiska ledare. Förhållandet mellan rektorers uppdrag som pedagogiska ledare och deras ansvar för verksamheten som helhet med administrativt arbete, personal- och arbetsmiljöansvar diskuteras som en faktor i studien. Att arbeta som rektor i grundskola med bakgrund som förskollärare eller fritidpedagog kan innebära ifrågasättande och legitimitetsproblem i yrkesutövningen. Bakgrundens betydelse var därför ytterligare en intressant faktor att fördjupa inom studiens ram.

Agency theory describes the conflict of interest between the principal (stockholders) and the agent (CEO). Aligning the incentives of executives with those of the owners is the most direct way to mitigate the agency problem. If there is no meaningful link between CEO compensation and company performance, it is doubtful that the large sums of assets in public corporations are being managed efficiently. In theory the solution is simple reward the CEO when shareholders wealth increases. The purpose of this paper is to investigate if there is a relationship between company performance and CEO compensation among Swedish companies, in materials and information technology industry.
