This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. Several new actors have entered the market and taken over traditional bankservices as well as new ones. The way of conducting banking has changed with the event of new technology. One of the banks customer segments, the students have also been under a change. With a changed market companies have to adapt to the new rules of the game.

Studien undersökte om, och hur, Google Kalender kan användas som hjälpmedel för vuxna individer med ADHD. Syftet var att öppna upp för en diskussion om medieteknik som hjälpmedel vid neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder. En sammanfattning av tillgänglig litteratur och forskning presenterade bakgrundsfakta kring ADHD, operativsystemet Android och Google Kalender. Via programvarutestning, i form av fri testning, testades och analyserades tjänsten Google Kalender utifrån de svårigheter individer med ADHD upplever. Resultaten visar att Google Kalender kan underlätta planering, tidsuppfattning, ihågkommande och framförhållning.

Wildlife is a valuable and renewable resource that promotes economical, ecological and social values. These values are important for developing and maintaining many rural societies. However, growing ungulate populations have led to increased browsing pressure on valuable forest trees and crops. Previous studies have proposed supplementary feeding and gamefields as potential methods for controlling the ungulate foraging and reducing browsing damage by providing other attractive food resources. However, quantitative estimates of potential biomass production of various gamefield crops and browsing pressure on the surrounding forest have been lacking.

Att jobba på ett spelutvecklingsföretag innebär ett annat sätt att tänka på som animatör. Man har ingen historia att berätta genom sina animationer på samma sätt som man har när man animerar för en film. Historieberättande kan saknas samtidigt som det kan vara lättande att slippa tänka på det. Genom att få ta del av Grins daliga animationsrutiner har jag fått större insikt om hur det är att arbeta som animatör på ett spelföretag. Begränsningar är det främsta man måste tänka på.

This thesis paper discusses the results of a survey which was conducted to investigate the potential usefulness of mobile apps in the maintenance department at Perstorp Specialty Chemicals AB. The paper contains four sections, a theory section, a method section , a section that explains the functionality of the app, and finally a results section where the results and conclusions of the survey are discussed. The theory section explains and discusses relevant terminology used in the computer science field and in the maintenance industry. The theoretical model used in this paper is also discussed. The methods section gives a stepwise description of the project and a description of platform and software used.

The purpose of the paper is to examine the state of law concerning taxation of Swedish poker winnings. The main findings are: Poker is seen as a random and adventurous game. Poker is thereby considered a lottery. Swedish poker winnings are thereby not taxed as income. Foreign poker winnings are taxed as income.

Denna studie tacklar ett av de problem som modern IP-telefoni brottas med, som gör att det är svårare att konkurrera med traditionell telefoni: fördröjningar på grund av otillräckliga Session Initiation Protocol-servrar (SIP). Genom tester av de viktigaste faktorerna jämförs fyra högaktuella Open Source SIP-servrar: OpenSIPS, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH och Yate. Avsikten är att underlätta valet av SIP-server för nya applikationer inom IP-telefoni, öka prestandan samt snabba på utvecklingen. Studien behandlar de intressantaste faktorerna vid val SIP, såsom användarvänlighet, hastighet, lagring av användardata samt ljudkvalité. Slutsatsen blev att Kamailio stod som klar segrare, med överlägsna resultat i jämförelse med övriga servrar, på de parametrar som valts ut.

In my essay, I write about the work at a pre-school in a segregated suburb. I begin my essay with examples from my workday. In one case, it is about Sara, playing games where other children are excluded and she also exhibits a power game towards me. In the second example, it is about how a group of children conspire and expose both themselves and others for destructive conspiracy patterns. When I write down what happens in the group of children at my pre-school, I see patterns reminiscent of destructive gangs.

At the end of April 1986 reactor number 4 of the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl explod-ed and large amounts of radioactive particles were then released into the atmosphere due to both the explosion as well as the consecutive fire of the graphite core. A cloud of radioac-tivity was spread over the northern hemisphere, including Sweden, due to the prevailing wind directions. The radioactive particles were washed out from the cloud by rain and snowfall in some areas of Sweden and deposited on the ground. The deposited radionu-clides, primarily cesium and iodine isotopes, were later absorbed into the soil and taken up by the roots of the plants. Some of these radionuclides, like 137Cs, still persist in some of the terrestrial ecosystems at relatively high concentrations which lead to contamination of the meat of moose, roe deer and wild boar even today.The two municipalities Heby and Uppsala, in the eastern part of central Sweden, experi-enced a relatively large deposition of 137Cs which resulted in high levels of 137Cs in moose and other game.

Hur svårt blir det att få till en autentisk tavla med mönster från duken och penseldrag? Den här uppsatsen tar det upp hur man bästa möjliga sätt återskapar klassisk konst i 3D.

Att öka engagemang och inlärning är syftet med att integrera en pedagogisk agent i många spel. Detta fungerar väldigt bra, studier har visat att agenterna påverkar användares engagemang i lärsystemet och det påverkar även prestationen i lärsystemet och minnet för det användaren lärt sig. Lärsystem med pedagogiska agenter påverkar även inställningen till matematik positivt. Agenternas olika kön sägs påverka användare olika, maskulina agenter sägs leda till bättre prestation än de feminina agenterna. Dessa skillnader tros bero på de stereotyper vi människor tillskriver både människor och fiktiva karaktärer för att veta hur någon beter sig och hur man själv ska bete sig i relation till denne.

Att fjärrstyra sin värmepump gör det möjligt att styra inomhusklimatet även då man inte är hemma. Detta passar mycket bra i exempelvis fritidshus då man enkelt kan höja temperaturen innan man skall dit och därmed kan njuta av ett behagligt inomhusklimat direkt.Med dagens fjärrstyrning av Daikins värmepumpar finns två problem. Systemet använder GSM-nätet och användaren måste kunna de olika SMS-koderna utantill. Fjärrstyrning används oftast i fritidshus på landsbygden och 3G-nätet har idag bättre täckning än GSM-nätet på många av dessa platser.Målet med examensarbetet är att ta fram ett system som åtgärdar dessa problem.Vi börjar med att ta fram en funktionsmodell att utgå från. Går vidare med val av hårdvara för modulen, och därefter vidare till mjukvaruutveckling.Resultatet av detta examensarbete är ett system för fjärrstyrning av Daikins värmepumpar som använder 3G-nätet och enkelt kan styras via en androidapplikation..

Ett av de områden där utvecklingen idag går som snabbast är IT och de senaste åren har det varit mobilapplikationsutveckling som dominerat. Allt fler skaffar smarta mobiler och antalet applikationer (appar) till dessa ökar konstant. Med en internetuppkoppling finns det idag ytterst få begränsningar för vad du kan göra med en smartphone. I takt med att antalet internetuppkopplade enheter eskalerar, ökar också antalet illasinnade individer vilka ser Internet som sin främsta inkomstkälla.I den här kandidatuppsatsen intervjuades företagsrepresentanter angående hur företagen tänker kring implementationen av säkerhet vid utveckling av mobilapplikationer. Studien bygger på en empirisk såväl som en teoretisk del.Det som framkommit under arbetet med uppsatsen är bland annat att företagen är väl medvetna om säkerhetsriskerna.

This report is the result of my examination work in Textdesign at Mälardalen University, Eskilstuna. The purpose with this work was to develop an accessible information material for the target group ?normal bowlers? that gives them the information they need to make their own decision on the lanes, because they often miss a coach during an away game. The focus was to target adjust the material through the theories readability, legibility and reading value, together with the method qualitative interviews. The result became a tested information booklet about how to read a lane pattern paper with additional information within the subject..
