Facial expressions are a part of our body language that helps us to clarify the verbal communication between humans. We use our facial expressions every day, both consciously and unconsciously, to express emotions and attitudes depending on the situation. The hypothesis of the study is: Given a facial expression, how well can Microsoft Kinect, as an input method, determine a person?s feelings with the two algorithms Naive Bayes and Sequential Minimal Optimization? The feelings are limited to happy, sad, surprised and disgusted. With the help of Kinect, a person?s facial data, both coordinates of the face and parameterized data, were saved and used for machine learning.

One of the essential needs of human beings is to be involved in a social context. The intention of this study was to see if the opportunity to have an iPod Touch, could make it possible for students with literacy difficulties to participate in the regular classes and if the implementation of iPod Touch in the school setting would result in informal learning outside the school. In this case study two pupils with literacy difficulties have been using an iPod Touch in their daily school activity. The pupils as well as their teachers have been interviewed about their experiences of implementing iPod Touch as a tool in the regular classroom teatching. The results indicate that iPod Touch can help students to be in inclusive education and that they use the iPod Touch outside school.

Studien sker bĂ„de deskriptivt och empiriskt i form av intervjuer och litteraturstudier. Den teoretiska utgĂ„ngspunkten Ă€r systemteorin.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa brödernas villkor i familjer med hederskulturella vÀrderingar och normer. Problemformuleringen i studien var att belysa hur unga mÀn reflekterar kring heder, bröders förhÄllande till sina systrar och sin egen roll i ett hederskulturellt sammanhang. Denna uppsats har haft en kvalitativ design och utgÄtt frÄn tre forskningsintervjuer med mÀn uppvuxna i familjer med hedersstrukturer. The purpose of this study is to examine the view of knowledge and the view of learner which are prominent in the ministry memorandum Specific programs and access to vocational programs (U2009/5552/G) and thereby understand the potential impact of the new transformation of the current individual program and what it brings to the students who do not achieve the objectives in grade 9. We have used a qualitative text analysis method. The background to the study describes in particular today's individual program, view of knowledge and view of learner. The result shows that the most prominent in the memorandum is that knowledge is divided into theory and practice, that individualization is the focus and the text shows freedom for interpretation..

NÄgot som fungerat som en lösning pÄ mÀnniskans rÀdsla för döden inom den judiska och kristna traditionen Àr tron pÄ den kroppsliga uppstÄndelsen.Denna uppsats ger större kunskap om hur judiska och kristna teologer och traditioner sett pÄ kroppen i samband med uppstÄndelsen inom bÄda religionerna. För att utkristallisera de olika kroppssyner som figurerar i denna diskussion har en kvalitativ litteraturanalys anvÀnts för att analysera utvalda teologers forskning.

Today, palliative care is performed in several different areas. When the curative treatment is no longer effective the objective of the palliative care is to promote the best possible quality of life for dying patients, through an active and overall treatment. In their work nurses see death and the dying. To highlight and to reach an understanding of the significance of their work, this literature study's objective is, using CarnevaliÂŽs thoughts about health as a theoretical framework, to describe different aspects of nurses' experiences of working with dying patients within palliative care. Furthermore the occurrence of stress and possible stress factors will be examined, as well as the nurses' access to support and to established coping strategies..

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

This study is about the potential advantages as an investment option in a portfolio. The study shows that the incorporation of bitcoins in a portfolio, even to a small degree, gives significant increases of both risk and return. New technological innovations like tablets and smartphones have a taken significant market share on the web and puts new demands on webpages, the user interface and compatibility among different client devices. The full test of a web-based system prior to the publication is often regarded as an important part of the process to create a complete and successful website. This bachelor thesis investigates the possibility to analyze mobile-adapted web sites using a system that first records the visitor's activities and then replays them for an expert analyst to provide valuable information to developers about how their site can be improved.The essay begins with a litterature study on today's most common web development tools and then examines the possibility to apply them during the development of the analysis tool. The work also describes two methods, pair programming and waterfall method used during the project. Three different evaluation methods are presented and one of the models is applied on the finished system.The project results in a web-based analysis tool written mainly in JavaScript using the jQuery library.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att studera hur företag framstÀller sin budget ur controllerns synvinkel. Vi kommer Àven att se hur IT-system kan stödja controllern och medarbetarnas verksamhet.

Syftet med denna rapport Àr att föra ett resonemang kring hur man skulle kunna utforma en global IT-leveransorganisation med avseende pÄ funktionalitet och CSR. Studien syftar till att synliggöra verksamma grundskollÀrares syn pÄ skolans roll och uppdrag i samhÀllet, relationen mellan skolans kunskapsuppdrag och demokratiuppdrag samt lÀrarens roll och uppdrag i skolan i relation till aktuella styrdokument. ForskningsfrÄgorna för studien Àr följande:? Hur ser verksamma grundskollÀrare pÄ skolans roll och uppdrag i samhÀllet?? Hur ser dessa lÀrare pÄ skolans kunskapsuppdrag respektive demokratiuppdrag?? Hur ser dessa lÀrare pÄ lÀrarens roll och uppdrag i skolan?? Hur förhÄller sig lÀrarnas uttalanden till Lgr 11 och Skollagen?För att besvara dessa frÄgor har det gjorts kvalitativa intervjuer av fem verksamma grundskollÀrare samt en webbenkÀt för att fÄ fram lÀrares Äsikter, detta utifrÄn ett lÀroplansteoretiskt perspektiv. Begreppen lÀroplanskoder och arenor har anvÀnts som analysverktyg. Resultatet visar att de deltagande lÀrarna till stor del Àr överens om att skolans roll och uppdrag bÄde Àr att förmedla kunskaper och demokratiska vÀrden till elever, att bÄde kunskapsuppdraget och demokratiuppdraget Àr lika viktiga, men att demokratiuppdraget ÀndÄ vÀger lite tyngre.
