Background: A health damage that has been specifically related to nursing is pressure ulcers. Pressure ulcers are a complication caused by disease, care and treatment and can result in great suffering for the patient. Pressure ulcers can affect people both physically and psychosocially and is experienced, by most patients, as a serious and unnecessary complication of care. Today there are hundreds of identified risk factors for pressure ulcers described that can be divided into patient and care-related risk factors. A successful pressure ulcer prevention and treatment is to reduce or eliminate the underlying causes for the development of pressure ulcers, prevent deterioration and to treat existing ulcers.

Med syfte att analysera tvÄ metoder för lÀs- och skrivinlÀrning samt att jÀmföra dessa med den nu rÄdande kursplanen i svenska har vi genomfört en textanalys av dessa. Materialet som samlades in var texter som berör de tvÄ metoderna samt kursplanen i svenska med tillhörande kommentarsmaterial. För att bearbeta och analysera materialet genomfördes först en innehÄllsanalys och dÀrefter en analys av lÀrande utifrÄn olika lÀrandeperspektiv, vilka var vÄra analysverktyg. Slutligen jÀmfördes metoderna med kursplanen för att sÀkerstÀlla att metodernas innehÄll motsvarade det som stÄr uppstÀllt i kursplanen.Arbetet har resulterat i kunskaper om hur metoderna förhÄller sig till kursplanen samt vilka teorier om lÀrande som Äterfinns i metoderna.

This study aims to build a deeper understanding on how shareholder value is created in Private Equity investments, especially during the holding period. The study is a qualitative study of the buyout of the access security company Bewator AB made by the Swedish Private Equity firm EQT in 2002. The buyout became highly successful due to various reasons. The study draws the conclusion, contrary to popular belief, that Private Equity firms create value through taking a long term view on business developing rather than being short term value destroyers. Incentive alignment is another important factor..

This thesis aims to find a more cost effective model for purchasing and logistics at asmall company. The studied company is a BMX (bicycle motocross) and MTB(mountain bike) retailer. The questions to be answered are: How large parties shouldbe ordered and what mode of transportation is to be used? A literature orientation ofthe field was followed by visits to the company, obtaining information from twodifferent logistics companies and interviews of four other companies in the sameindustry. The study shows that itÂŽs difficult to develop an optimum order quantity fora small company since there often are other factors affecting how large amountshould be ordered.

CGI har uppmÀrksammat att det finns ett behov av ett handfast verktyg för att förenkla produktionsplaneringen, vilket Àr bakgrunden till det hÀr examensarbetet. Den strukturella omvandlingen inom sÄgverksindustrin har medfört ett behov av ett mer kundanpassat sortiment och utvecklingen har medfört ett ökat behov av automatiserade processtyrningar. För att kunna produktionsplanera effektivt, beskrivs det i studien att det finns behov av ett mer lÄngsiktigt planeringsverktyg. Produktionsplanering utförs oftast i ett eller tvÄ separata planeringssteg som innebÀr ett för sÄgprocessen respektive ett för tork och justering.

Animal welfare in Sweden has gone through major changes during the later years. In 2004, Swedish Animal Welfare Agency took over the central responsibility for the animal welfare from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and in 2007 the board again became the central authority for animal welfare in Sweden.Even the practical supervision has changed, from the 1 of January 2009 the supervision is to be performed by the county administrative boards, instead of by the individual municipalities. Since 2006 every horse in the European Union has to have an identification card, in Sweden called a ?horse passport? which describes the color and markings of the horse as well as any veterinary treatments.The ELOF-project, a collaborative project between the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the county administrative boards, intends to make the animal welfare supervision effective, standardised, fair and risk-based. Because of the takeover of the supervision and of the ELOF-project the Örebro County Administrative Board has began to make an inventory of the number of horses and horsefarms in the county. Another Ethology and Animal Welfare-student and I did, in collaboration with the county administrative board created a checklist that in connection with the inventory will lead to a risk-based animal welfare supervision.

This is a study to see the relationship between earnings per share and dividends during a period of both boom and depression. The study will focus on companies listed on Stockholm stock exchange and see if they follow theories from the past and if the dividend is smooth over times with a fluctuant economy. To see this we had this problem:Is it a relationship between earnings per share and dividend during a fluctuant economy, also if there is a difference between the different Caps on Stockholm stock exchange?We studied 163 stocks of the 293 listed stock on Stockholm stock exchange during a period of 8 years. The study is focused on the time period between year 2005 and year 2012.

This thesis takes on a broader perspective of the modern age phenomenon we call spam. One of the aims of this thesis is to present and to compare the variety of methods used in the day-to-day fight against spam, as far they have evolved today, but also to present and discuss some alternative methods for suggested future use. The properties of a common e-mail spam are analyzed to show how the components that make up the structure in an e-mail can be used to classify spam. Furthermore I explain the naĂŻve Bayesian classification methods, the signature-based method, the commonly used rule-based method and the challenge and response method and discuss these. The widespread use of blacklists is also explained and a close new variant to blacklisting, Turntide is presented and discussed.

AbstractI denna uppsats analyserar vi tvÄ riksdagsdebatter som bÄda uppstÄtt dÄ yrkande inkom till regeringen om Àndringar i Yttrandefrihetsgrundlagen (YGL) samt Àndringar i tryckfrihetsförordningen (TF). PÄ tidigt nittiotal uppdagades det i Sverige ett antal pedofilhÀrvor. Detta resulterade i en omfattande offentlig debatt som vidare bidrog till att yttrandefrihetsbrottet barnpornografi, helt och hÄllet lyftes ut ur YGL samt TF. PÄ sent nittiotal förekom Ànnu en debatt som Àven denna behandlade yttrandefrihetsgrundlagarna. Denna gÄng handlade det om brottet hets mot folkgrupp, och det eventuella tillÀgget, sexuell lÀggning.

This master thesis is about amateur writing. To understand the writers needs and wishes about writing and access to information I have researched writing in a writing group. To answer my questions I have studied research literature and interviewed six of the members of the writing group. I also participated in their meetings for two years. The result of this study shows that writing had a therapeutic function for all of them in a period of their lives.

IKEA HaparandaTornio employ some two-hundred people in its furniture retail store.Keeping track of staff statistics and employee information has previously been achievedthrough the use of a basic Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet. The store?s human resourcesdepartment requested an upgrade to this system with the hope of speeding up andsimplifying the administrative process, as well as to make it easier to monitor HR-relatedtarget statistics. The following report documents the development process of that upgrade ascarried out by the author. The project draws on research in usability design and cognitivepsychology to develop a user-friendly interface.

Taluppfattning Àr grundlÀggande för all matematisk utveckling. I denna rapport har vi valt att analysera tvÄ olika lÀromedel i matematik för Ärskurs 1 och 2. Syftet med rapporten var att undersöka hur taluppfattning hanteras i de bÄda lÀromedlen samt vilka kognitiva nivÄer (grundat pÄ Blooms taxonomi) som stimuleras. Vi hade Àven för avsikt att undersöka omfattningen av konkretisering i de analyserade lÀromedlen.
