ABSTRAKT I vårt dagliga arbete som anestesisjuksköterskor möter vi barn som ska opereras och deras föräldrar. Studier visar att föräldrar vill delta vid anestesins början och till dess barnet sover, d v s anestesiinduktionen. Föräldrar och barn är som ?kommunicerande kärl? och att tillåta föräldrar delta i induktionsprocessen minskar rädsla och oro associerat med anestesi. Oron är ändå viktig då den hjälper föräldrar att engagera och förbereda sig inför vad som ska hända och visar barnet att de älskar det.

A power system will inevitably be subjected to transient overvoltages, most often produced by switching operations and lightning strikes. These transient overvoltages may harm sensitive equipment without sufficient protection, but it is not an easy task to predict what transients may occur or how they affect the system. A fault occurred in a low voltage system at Forsmark 2012 and overvoltages from lightning were concluded as the probable cause. The three aims with this thesis are to develop and test a model of the power system at Forsmark 3, analyse the transient behaviour of the system when subjected to lightning surges and identify critical parameters, and lastly to provide a tool for investigating the protection of the system. The modelling and simulations were performed in the freely available simulation program LT Spice.

Syftet med studien var att granska Vår kokbok för att se om det skett några förändringar över tid, i relation till rekommendationer om hållbara matval. Hållbar utveckling handlar om hur vi kan tillfredställa våra behov utan att riskera kommande generationers. I denna fråga har matvanor och konsumtion fått allt större betydelse. Detta eftersom dessa står för en stor del av utsläppen och klimatpåverkan samtidigt som det är något varje individ kan vara med och påverka. En betydelsefull kanal för förmedling av hållbara matval kan således vara kokböcker som genom sitt budskap kan inspirera läsaren och därmed påverka dennes beteende.

The company is currently in a stage of improvement and has therefore taken the help of students at School of Engineering, Jonkoping University. The current production is batch, production layout is fixed. A bottleneck is created after the first station which leads to large efficiency loss.  The meaning of this report was to provide a layout suggestion with balanced workstations to a new production line. The conditions were that the production line would be one-way, driven by customers order and meet a demand of 40 products per week.

Societal expectations of responsible corporate conduct are currently a fact. It is manifested ina corporate need for limiting and managing external effects, such as environmental impact.An environmental management system is a tool for organizations to structure theirenvironmental work and increase their efficiency. Managing the corporate operations toaccommodate to environmental objectives requires an organizational understanding of theobjectives as well as the procedures. A condition for a successful implementation is the coworkers´ willingness to participate and collaborate.A study made on the co-workers attitude towards the ISO 9000 standard (i.e. qualitymanagement system) reveals that the earlier positive findings are not completely true.

This research addresses the issues of identity and culture in Latvia in the context of the upcoming European Union enlargement in 2004. Political self- determination of Latvia was historically indebted to culture. The phenomenon of cultural identity, so important 12 years ago when Latvian independence was regained, is largely ignored by politicians in the upcoming enlargement process. This is especially worth attention since the 8-th parliamentary elections took place in October 2002. The obvious lack of interest in cultural issues on the part of politicians is compensated by the apprehensions in the society (reflected in mass media) to loose Latvian specific culture and identity when joining the big European family.

EU-NAVFOR är den första insatsen som den Europeiska Unionen skapat och den första okonventionella konflikten till havs som ska bekämpas med konventionella medel. Forskningsläget angående hur dessa konventionella styrkor ska agera mot denna typ av motståndare är väldigt begränsad.Syftet med denna uppsats är således att undersöka om Wayne P. Hughes konventionella krigföringsteorier är användbara i en nutida konflikt samt att se om det finns några likheter eller skillnader mellan dessa teorier och den taktik ME02 använde sig av under insatsen utanför Somalia.Denna uppsats baseras på en kvalitativ metod där Wayne P. Hughes teorier om ?The Great Constants? studeras och beskrivs för att sedan nyttjas som analysverktyg i en teoriprövande fallstudie på ME02.

Sweden became a member of the European Union in 1995. Consequently Sweden became obligated to implement the Working Time Directive 2003/88/EC (formerly termed 93/104/EC). At that time Sweden considered that their legislation already gave their employees as high level of protection as the directive prescribed. Instead they decided upon an adjustment of the collective agreements concerning working time. A particular EC-restriction was incorporated in the Working Hours Act (SFS 1982:673).

The aim of this master thesis is to examine how leadership in public libraries is constructed discursively in the Swedish library field of today. The empirical material reviewed is job postings and articles from three library related journals.The thesis seeks to identify what different leadership discourses can be found by looking at definitions, forms of address, present actors and themes emerging. It also aims to examine the contingent presence of late modern leadership theories in the order of discourse. The leadership theories primarily investigated are New Public Management (NPM) and value-based leadership.The theoretical starting point of the thesis is discourse theory, developed by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. In the analysis a model of four phases is used; in which central concepts of discourse theory help identify the discourses.

This paper is a literature study aiming to describe scientists newest theories andknowledge concerning the El Niño and Southern Oscillation. Firstly I have described the?normal? conditions with rising and sinking air in Hadley- and Walker-cells in theequatorial Pacific and from there moved on to explaining the reversed circulation patternsand higher sea surface temperatures (SST) leading to rising air and anomalousprecipitation in eastern Pacific constituting the El Niño phenomenon. My outermostinterest regarding El Niño has been the associated teleconnections, especially in nontropicalareas. I have described the El Niño effect on the Indian summer monsoon, ontropical cyclones and on storms and precipitation on higher latitudes.

When the purpose is to create an illustration plan for a new neighbourhood there arelots of things to think about. In this report follows a description of the three differentplan modells SCAFT/TRÅD, garden city and ekological planning. SCAFT is aplanning model that were used in the 1970s. It contains proposals how to make thetraffic enviorment safer. TRÅD replaced SCAFT in 1982 and it contains also adviceshow to make the traffic enviorment safer.

AbstractThe employer is obliged to initiate negotiations with the union organization to which the employer is bound by a collective agreement. This applies both to decisions which imply a substantial change in workplace operations or employment conditions of the individual employee. In case law this obligation has been very extensive through all cases that have been up in the Swedish Labor court. Due to this fact the employer?s duty to negotiate has been interpreted very broadly.

Tropisk regnskog i Sydostasien är ett av de områden som hyser störst biodiversitet i världen, av vilken stora ytor är hotat. Ön Borneo drabbades av en katastrof åren 1982-1983 efter att väderfenomenet El Niño orsakat torka med vidsträckta skogsbränder som följd. Detta lämnade stora ytor av Borneos skogar i ett undermåligt, sekundärt tillstånd. På grund av detta startades INIKEA projektet med syfte att rehabilitera skogar i regionen kring Tawau vid östkusten av delstaten Sabah i Malaysia. I denna studie undersökte jag resultatet av rehabiliteringsarbetet på krontaket i tre olika skogstyper genom att ta hemisfäriska foton med en digital systemkamera (DSLR).

Denna rapporten behandlar hur ett webbaserat system för hantering av handböcker och utrustningslager, for operation- och anestesikliniken vid universitetssjukhuset i Linköping, kan realiseras. Den behandlar också hur man kan arbeta i grupp där kunskapsnivan varierar kraftigt mellan gruppmedlemmar.För att skapa systemet så togs en kravspecikation fram av projektgruppen tillsammans med kunden genom studiebesök och diskussion. Efter det skapades en arkitekturbeskrivning. Denna låg sedan som grund till utvecklingsarbetet. Resultatet blev ett system där alla plocklistor i handböckerna kopplades ihop med artiklar i artikeldatabasen.

However; how big are the changes RMA will give, or will it even change the foundation of the Art of War and if so, in what way?RMA has three cornerstones DBA, DS and PE all closely integrated in an NCW-concept.
