Detta examensarbete behandlar möjligheterna att genom projektarbete verklighetsförankra ämnet Multimedia B på gymnasiet. Undersökningen har utgått från aktionsforskningens principer, vilket innebär att jag undersökt och reflekterat kring min egen undervisning i Multimedia B. Litteraturstudier, utvärderingar och intervjuer har kompletterat de egna observationerna. Arbetets syfte är i första hand att undersöka om en viss metod, i det här fallet projektarbete, kan skapa större verklighetsförankring i ett ämne. Samtidigt är också syftet att ta reda på elevernas syn på verklighetsförankring, hur de ser på lärarens roll i ett projektarbete och vilka för- och nackdelarna är med att arbeta i projekt.

I denna uppsats analyseras realityserierna Rebecca & Fiona samt Danne & Bleckan med syftet att undersöka hur några av de geografiska platser, så som städer, orter och stadsdelar, där dessa serier utspelar sig är representerade. Bägge serierna är gjorda av produktionsbolaget Art89 för SVTs webbkanal SVT-play och sändes mellan 2010 och 2012.De områden som tas upp i analysen är Hornstull, Östermalm, Örebro samt Östberga i Rebecca & Fiona, och Högdalen samt Henriksdalsberget i Danne & Bleckan. Som metod har vi använt en kombination av semiotisk och narrativ analys. Med hjälp av detta har vi tittat på hur serierna konstruerats narratologiskt och vad som konnoteras från det man får se och höra. Detta har gjorts med fokus på de olika områden som serierna i huvudsak utspelar sig i, återkommer till under seriens gång eller får betydelsebärande roll i serien.Uppsatsen utgår från teorier kring genren reality, dess relation med dokumentär film och problematiken kring det sanningsanspråk som finns inom dessa.

The purpose of this essay was to research the level of condition and requirements of democracy which faces states applying for a membership in the European Union. The focal point was to research the levels of democracy requirements on two set enlargements which are the cases of the 1981 and 1986 enlargements together with the 2004 and 2007. The states that did reach the goal of becoming member states had similar political backgrounds that made them suitable for a most- similar system study. By using my theoretical framework which consists of democracy theories, together with the chosen method was I able to find answers to my research questions when examining the material. The result of the study is that even though the condition might have been quite similar but the reality of them was different.

In this essay I have looked more closely at different means of grinding wood prior to the mass production and total dominance of the sandpaper in recent times as there is virtually no information to be found about this. I have also done a few replicas of how early sandpapers might have looked and as a part of creating these replicas I have also tested diffrent types of early glues. The conclusion of it all is that all the alternative grinding materials tested workd virtually as well as modern sandpaper, with some reservations. And the replicas, although rough, worked mostly well despite being constructed with simplicity in mind. This indicates that an artisan could easily construct sandpapers if he so wished..

The thesis explores an ongoing dialectical process between different levels of employees including top management to workers of Scandinavian Airline Service (SAS) regarding a new change program and to find out the possible social construction among them. In particular, it searches for the constructed reality of SAS ground service employees at Malmö Airport with regard to the preparatory stage of SAS Strategy 2011. A possible ambiguity in dialectical process is explored as it relates to an organization?s ability to effectively influence the understanding and identity of its employees through discourse.

During the spring semester of 2012 did Petra Hollsten independently a thesis on reducing the environmental impact of capsule for coffee, tea and chocolate. The work was performed at Karlstad University, Faculty of Technology and Science under the Bachelor of Science program in innovation, technology and design. This is a study of the phenomenon enterprise education in a Swedish school. Enterprise education is a rather new concept in Swedish schools, and it has yet to be clearly defined and sufficiently studied. In order to investigate the various aspects of the education properly an analysis of the language used by its proponents needs to be performed. The authors have used discourse analysis from a perspective provided by Laclau and Mouffe. This is for the purpose of determining how the phenomenon is expressed by four teachers in the school mentioned previously.

The Baltic Sea is threatened by eutrophication that largely is due to nutrient leaching from farmland within the catchment area. To solve this problem the surrounding countries cooperate within various configurations such as HELCOM and the EU-financed project Baltic Compass. Poor manure management in Russia has been discussed frequently the last couple of years. A literature review of different types of reports and legal acts is the core of this degree project which has been performed in connection to two ongoing research projects financed by EU (Baltic Compass) and SIDA. It is supplemented with interviews with Swedish agricultural consultants and travel reports from two occasions when I had the opportunity to discuss with Russians active within the agricultural sector. Different hypotheses were investigated and discussed. The environmental debate in Russia is quiet and there is a widespread approach that economic profit always trumps environmental concern ? a Soviet heritage that influence the Russian agriculture considerably. The Russian legal acts on stable manure management focus mainly on sanitary questions and only secondary on nutrient leaching.

The farm management system controlled traffic farming (CTF) aims to reduce soil compaction by restricting the field traffic from agricultural machinery to permanent traffic lanes. Literature and empirical findings show that soil compaction and field traffic from heavy machinery may affect crop growth negatively, reducing crop yields. If grass-clover leys are subject to heavy field traffic the botanic composition might be altered, providing a lower clover content in the forage. Clover as a silage feed is rich in protein providing good conditions for high yielding dairy cows. Grass-clover silage production is generally associated with intensive field traffic.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the current status of fuel cell technology and to establish whether said technology is mature enough to be implemented into the Swedish Armed Forces. The question to be answered in this paper is as follows: Can hydrogen gas and fuel cells be used as an alternative source of energy within the Swedish Armed Forces?This paper is based on theoretical studies and reports from prior research done on fuel cells. By studying these facts a predictive answer has been obtained. The answer I have come to, is that the maturity of fuel cell technology is currently inadequate for the Swedish Armed Forces to implement, especially considering its harsh working conditions..

The aim of this essay is to analyze the political interests of the United States Government in Turkey, from 1997 to spring 2007, using a qualitative method. I will also analyze any strategic changes during this period, by using theories of realism, particularly Structure Realism and Rational Choice. Using the Rational Actor Model (RAM), I will analyze how nation states such as the United States act in the political arena in Turkey. How can the US Government legitimize the support to Turkey and at the same time criticize there democratic deficit and their view on human rights. Turkey has been an American Military Ally, via NATO since 1952 and its demographic situation has changed since the Cold War.

I detta arbete har textuppgifter i fyra vanligt förekommande matematikläroböcker ämnade för gymnasieskolans kurs Matematik A undersökts. Syftet med undersökningen har varit att ta reda på hur dessa uppgifter knyter an till verkligheten. Som undersökningsmetod valdes textanalys med utgångspunkt från ett antal egenformulerade analysfrågor, inspirerade av den litteratur som jag tagit del av. Resultatet av textanalysen visar att det är en förhållandevis liten andel av läroböckernas textuppgifter som har en trovärdig förankring i verkligheten, där endast ett fåtal av dessa beskriver en situationskontext som kan relateras till elevernas verklighet. En viktig slutsats som kan dras av detta resultat är att det finns en konflikt mellan de mål som står skrivet i de nationella styrdokumenten och innehållet i läroböcker som används i matematikundervisningen..

With "strokes of music" I mean a musical technique, which has some parallels to how a painter can choose colors and palettes to express what he is looking for ? the freedom to choose between colors and palettes, or in music tones and scales ? to move between them by sudden or leading modulations, from the diatonic scales with alternative formations, to the symmetric spheres, to the melodic pentatonic scales and other alternative new formations, using plateauic solutions or chords in diatonic, functional and non-functional progressions.
