The aim of this study is to investigate what psyhosocial problems that occur among congestive heart failure patients and what needs for patient education related to self-care that exists within this group. The method is a literature review. The result identifies psyhosocial problems that arise in the daily life of congestive heart failure patients and how these affect their life sitation..

This study was conducted on a property with a thinning machine team. The purpose was to investigate in which machine, the harvester or the forwarder, that caused most damage to the trees in six different stands. Different factors, related to the damage frequency in the stands, were checked out. For example: basal area per hectare, thinning strength, tree diameter and the rate of production. The harvester drivers were also interviewed about how, when and why stem damages occur and how to minimize them. The study stated that 4.3 percent of the trees were damaged. Out of these 88 percent was caused by the harvester and the rest, 12 percent, by the forwarder..

The aim of our research in this study, which has a qualitative attempt, is to investigate participation concerning to a few co-workers in the old-age care. The co-workers experience of participation and their definition of participation, and how participation is related to our different themes. Our themes are the present and wanted assumptions, to make participation possible. Further more does this study discuss participation in relation to the themes communication, competence education and to physical and psychic health. The method we used was primary semi-structured interviews and some observations.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att undersöka missbrukande kvinnors tankar kring och upplevelser av samhällets och nätverkets bemötande samt attityder till kvinnligt missbruk. För att besvara uppsatsens frågeställningar genomfördes fem intervjuer med kvinnor som missbrukat främst alkohol. I analysen granskades resultatet utifrån genusperspektiv, stämplingsteori samt teorier om bemötande. Då det inte fanns någon tidigare forskning som direkt berörde studiens syfte användes närliggande forskning. Den tidigare forskningen visade att män och kvinnor i vårt samhälle bemöts på olika sätt.

Illegal logging and its related trade is of great concern around the world. The European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) is a regulatory approach by the EU to prevent illegal timber and timber products to be placed on the European Union inner market. This means the regulation affects both actors in the member countries as well as the actors exporting timber and timber products to the EU from non EU member countries. This study aims to study the implementation process of the EUTR in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B-H), and its preconditions. Institutional theory is used to understand and explain how the EUTR affects B-H organisations? business environment, and how the organisations choose to respond to the EUTR.

Uppsatsens syfte är att titta närmare på hur diskursen kring alkoholvård kan se ut i Sverige idag genom närmare granskning av de två tidskrifterna Socionomen och Alkohol & Narkotika. Två stora tidningar inom praktiker av socialt arbete. För att uppnå syftet utgår uppsatsen från följande frågeställningar: -Vilka behandlingsmetoder för alkoholmissbruk diskuteras i tidskrifterna? -Hur problematiserar tidskrifterna kring olika behandlingsformer? -Hur lyfts för respektive nackdelar för behandlingsformerna upp? -Vad väljer tidskrifterna att lyfta fram i debatten kring alkoholvården? Som metod används kritisk diskursanalys för att synliggöra diskurserna i tidskrifterna.

For the diagnostic process and to give adequate advice the veterinarians need an understanding of riding terminology and problems related to riding. It is also of high importance that riders, trainers and veterinarians increase the knowledge of equine biomechanics and how these are influenced by the rider. Trots detta har ett högt antal minderåriga ett riskbeteende relaterat till användningen av alkohol och dessa individer respekterar inte lagen. Skolsjuksköterskan har en betydande roll i preventionsarbetet mot minderårigas alkoholkonsumtion och använder flera strategier för att främja barn och ungas hälsa.Syfte: Att beskriva skolsjuksköterskans hälsofrämjande strategier mot minderårigas alkoholkonsumtion.Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserat på tio kvalitativa studier.Resultat: Två kategorier kunde urskiljas utifrån syftet: hälsosamtal och familjestrategier. Ur kategorin hälsosamtal urskiljs subkategorierna hälsoenkät och motiverande samtal.

This study examines counselors understanding of body fixation (alt: body image fixation) as a social problem among young women aged 15-25 years. Earlier research on this subject highlights the standards and ideals placed on the female body where happiness is associated with a slim body figure. Research has shown that young women that compare their own bodies with others are at higher risk at developing an unhealthy relationship with their body, which can lead to eating disorders. The data for this study was collected through semi-structured interviews with nine counselors from youth clinics, schools and primary healthcare. The results were interpreted and analysed in the light of social constructionist perspective as developed by Berger & Luckmann and Loseke's social constructionist definition of social problems.
