Denna uppsats avser att analysera bokomslagens retoriska argumentation. Genom att studera vilka argument som förekommer på omslagen, är arbetets syfte att undersöka hur en potentiell läsare lockas till att köpa just den boken. Totalt tolv titlar, sex från Albert Bonniers förlag och sex från Norstedts, utgör analysmaterialet. Detta analyseras med hjälp av en hermeneutisk retorisk metod, tillsammans med teorier från den klassiska såväl som den visuella retoriken. Även litteraturvetenskaplig teori rörande bokomslagets uppbyggnad används.

The purpose of this project was to design an adjustable gutter bracket for Lindab Profil AB. Lindab currently manufacture a gutter bracket that is adjustable in angle, however, this model has some drawbacks.  One of it´s shortcomings is that it is somewhat difficult for the customer to mount.  Another problem with Lindab?s current model is that the design makes manufacturing unnecessarily complex. The new gutter bracket, that we have constructed, does not have these problems. It is adjustable for different roof pitches.

The importance of human capital in firm valuation is something Huang and Wang points out in there paper from 2008. We expand Ohlson?s valuation model (1995) in line with Huang and Wang (2008) to enhance a market value that includes proxies for human capital. By using human capital based market value and one of Francis, Nanda and Olsson?s (2008) version of earnings quality, we create a value table which aim to sort for undervalued and overvalued companies during the  economic upswing of 2003 to 2007 in the human capital line of business.

Idag existerar det inga produkter på marknaden för att objektivt kunna mäta radiokarpalledens styrka vid extensionen. Små skador på radiokarpalleden har stor inverkan på den enskilde individen. Syftet med detta projekt är att utveckla en grundläggande lösning för att objektivt mäta kraften i handleden (radiokarpalleden). Arbetsmetoden har följt principkonstruktionsmetoden i produktutveckling (F.Olsson, 1995). Viktningsverktyget har använts för att jämföra och ranka lösningsidéer mot varandra.

Då det under analysens gång har urskiljts flera mansbilder i Din stund på jorden, kan jag hålla med manlighetsforskare som t.ex. Claes Ekenstam att manlighet är något som hela tiden påverkas av samhälliga förändringar och ideologier. Eftersom romanen sträcker sig under en tidsperiod på omkring 60 år har detta medfört till att mansbilderna förändrats under handlingens gång, i och med att också samhället förändrats. Analysen har dock inte närmare gått in på hur samhället i romanen förändrats utan enbart på hur de olika karaktärerna skiljer sig från varandra, där tydliga skillnader framkommit. Jag har konstaterat att brödernas mansbilder skiljer sig åt från de övriga män i det bondesamhälle de lever i då jag använt mig utav omanlighetsbegreppet.

Our thesis is conducted in collaboration with Draper Europe AB in Halmstad.The goal of the project has been to construct a baseline concept for the instaling of aprojector screen. Draper Europe AB, in the curent situation, have several kinds of fabrics and designs on their sceens and the cases they are in. Today if you select a screen you can´t chose the design and function of the sceens case.The arrangement of the components inside the cases was to be constructed so the assembler simply could move them to different cases. To make it even easier for the assembler and to save time, the desire of less component was mentioned. Another problem that needed to be solved was the mounting of the projectionscreen at the customer place.

Denna uppsats är en jämförelse av två kartläggningar av prostitution på Internet: ?När prostitutionen flyttade in i vardagsrummet? skriven av Niclas Olsson vid Malmö Prostitutionsenhet och ?Slutrapport från projektet nätprostitution? skriven av Marie Johansson och Pia Turesson vid Prostitutions- och Spiralenheten i Stockholm.   Med hjälp av en diskursanalys utarbetad av Norman Fairclough kan man bland annat klarlägga hur en texts satskonstruktioner konstruerar samma texts objekt och subjekt. Genom en diskursanalys har denna uppsats konstruktioner/bilder/definitioner av ?sexsäljare?/ ?prostituerad?, ?socialsekreterare? och den hjälp som socialsekreteraren erbjuder sexsäljaren, analyserats.    Analysen och jämförelsen har visat att författarna till de båda texterna har skildaförhållningssätt till prostituerade, sig själva som socialsekreterare och den hjälp de erbjuder sin målgrupp. Det förhållningssätt ?Slutrapport från projektet nätprostitution? visar upp ligger nära ett förhållningssätt som i uppsatsen beskrivs som den Svenska offentliga hållningen till prostitution.

I uppsatsen undersöks fem "allmänna svenska" folkbildningsmöten hållna, huvudsakligen i Folkbildningsförbundets regi, mellan 1904 och 1920. Trots att de är väldokumenterade och gavs betydelse för folkbildningens utveckling av sin samtid, har de inte tidigare varit föremål för en egen studie. På grund av forskningsläget strävar undersökningen efter att tematisera mötena som en helhet, den iscensatta aktören Folkbildningsmötet. Undersökningens huvudsakliga källmaterial har varit de mötesberättelser som gavs ut i anslutning till mötena. Undersökningen visar att Folkbildningsmötet huvudsakligen ägnade sig åt administrativa frågor och agerade för en allsidig, "liberal" antiklassbildning..

An electric bike is a convenient way oftransportation as well as a good way of avoiding traffic. With an electricbike you avoid having to sweat when biking over hills or when you need totravel over longer distances.The goal of this project is to develop a bike sharing station according tothe functions need to be met.This thesis Is based on Fredy Olsson´s methods principkonstruktion aswell as a couple of concept generating methods from Kenneth Österlin.From this, a number of sketches were made that later was evaluated inseveral steps in conjunction to a set of specifications. A 3D model of theselected concept was later made in CatiaV5 for a complete product..

The main purpose of this thesis is to discuss what exile writing is and who can be seen as an exile writer. If the word ?exile? is related to forced dislocation, like Paul Tabori and Sopia A. McClennen describes it, who can be viewed as an exile writer? Is Anders Olsson?s definition of an exile writer acceptable or not? Could the The Escape, a future story about exiled Northern Europeans in Myanmar, be classified as exile literature?Another purpose with this text is to describe how a story about exile can be made realistic and tangible to a reader who has not experienced exile.

The objective of this project was to develop the visual identityof Halleluja, a brand new booking agency representing approximatelytwenty minor artists within a wide range of contemporarymusic styles.The outcome has been applied to business cards and awebsite yet to be produced. To attract the audience and differentiateitself from other booking companies, Halleluja featuresa minimalist design that speaks of dedication, breadth ofgenres and exclusive taste. Although my sketches have beenapproved by Lars Olsson and Erik Sundfeldt, the co-foundersof Halleluja, I have had the privilege of working quite freely andstarting from scratch, since there was no earlier work done onthe company.Some of the issues I have faced during my process wasabout finding the right tone of voice in type and colour, ordealing with the semantics of the corporate name (meaning»praise the Lord«). I?ve also been struggling to come to termswith my own self-censorship and my slighly suspicious view onbranding..

The digital agenda of the state and society clarifies the objectives and effects academic libraries? development. E-books influence the development of organizational, economic, legal and political perspectives. At the University Library in Gävle work is ongoing. The process is controlled by the acquisition policy which makes it clear that e-books should be purchased if possible.

Denna rapport behandlar mitt examensarbete som genomfördes i samarbete med HaldexBrake AB. Haldex Brake AB håller på och utvecklare en ny generation broms åt lastbilar.Uppdraget bestod av tre delar. Att ta fram lösningsförslag som säkerhetsställer beläggjärnetsplacering i förhållande ett beläggjärn så kallad Cross-beam. Att säkerställa att bultar monterasmed rätt åtdragningsmoment på 230Nm. Den sista tredjedelen av arbetet bestod i attpresentera lösningar som helt eller delvis eliminerar oljud, när olika komponenter med spel,slår i delar i okhuset.I projektet har flera olika principkonstruktioner tagits fram och genom Freddy Olssonutvärderingsmallar har sedan en primärkonstruktion utarbetats fram.I dem andra två resterande projektdelarna belyses lösningarna väldigt generellt av denanledningen att det kräver specialkomponenter..
