The purpose of this masters thesis is to evaluate bookmobile service as a decentralised library service. I have made a qualitative interview survey, with seven Swedish municipalities participating, all providing bookmobile service in their rural parts. The purpose with the interviews is to examine their bookmobile service. I have also studied articles on bookmobile service, and decentralisation through small library units in library journals, to get an insight into how the work with decentralised library service is done in Swedish municipalities. In this thesis answer is sought to the following questions: - Which decentralised library services are suitable for inhabitants and institutions in sparsely populated areas, considering factors such as number of inhabitants, proportion of old people and children, demographic changes, economy, possibilities to cooperate with other municipalities? - What is the current bookmobile service situation in Sweden, taking seven municipalities in the region of Småland as a starting point? My conclusions are that each municipality must decide which decentralised library services that best suites their needs.

Att ha hälsa innebär inte att endast vara fri från sjukdom. Personer som lever med sjukdom upplever hälsa på många olika sätt. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelse av hälsa hos personer med sjukdom. Tjugo vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: att känna stöd och säkerhet i relationer, att hjälpa andra och känna sig behövd, att vara positiv och kunna njuta av sitt liv som det är just nu, att kropp och sinne är sammanhängande, att göra saker för sig själv för att må bättre.

Denna rapport syftar till att undersöka i vilken utsträckning stridsvagnskompanichefer skiljer och/eller liknar ?commanders? (i spelet ?Battlefield 2?) i sitt sätt att skapa och upprätthålla situationsmedvetenhet med avseende på riskbedömning kopplat till fiendens position i slagfältet. Studien grundar sig på en tanke om att utnyttja positiva effekter från datorspelande, i morgondagens ledningssystem genom att bygga ledningssystem grundade på en kommersiell spelplattform. Resultaten pekar bland annat på skillnader mellan de båda aktörernas metoder för att uppnå full situationsmedvetenhet, men även på vissa likheter som till exempel att se på en situation med fiendens ögon för att bedöma hur denna kommer att agera..

This paper aims to examine how children who have experienced violence against their mother experience their school and if the school somehow can compensate for the vulnerable situation of the children?s home situation. The data is an already collected material there interviews with abused children are done. The results presented consist of the previous research in the area where the empirical material analyzed from the developing ecological theory and based on children's different abilities to master life and then give an voice to the collected research. The results showed that if the violence in the family does not affect the child's sleep or the parents do not prioritize enough for the child to get the sleep he/she needs and that the child is not serious difficulty concentrating, it seems that children can use school to learn and enjoy this learning.

In order to convince, one must know which arguments are most suitable for the specific situation. But even if you think you know how others will react to your arguments, you may be wrong. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to find out a way of examining to what extent informative text take account to the subjective views of their addressees. The theoretical framework is Blitzer's theory of the rhetorical situation, pragmatic theory of speech acts and their presuppositions, Burk´s theory of consubstantiality and phenomenographic theory of subjective perceptions. Methodologically, phenomenography has also been used as a guideline for selecting informants, collecting data and processing the interviews.

Arbetskraftsbristen i skogsbruket är stor och det har varit svårt att få ungdomar att intressera sig för skogsmaskinföraryrket. Synen på kompetens kan påverka rekryteringsprocessen och kompetensutvecklingsinsatser. Syfte med denna studie har därför varit att a) kartlägga utbildnings- och kompetensnivå i skogsmaskinföretagen samt deras framtida behov av personal, b) analysera skogsmaskinentreprenörens rekryteringsprocess, deras krav på utbildningsnivå, innehåll och kvalitet hos maskinförare, c) analysera skogsmaskinentreprenörens syn och satsning på vidareutbildning av deras anställda. Studien genomfördes som en enkätundersökning bland företagsledare för skogsmaskinföretag hos SCA Skog. Enkäten skickades till 41 ledare varav 27 svarade. Studien visade att behovet av nya företagsledare är stort men att behovet av anställda maskinförare är mindre akut. Den formella utbildningsnivån bland företagsledare var begränsat, hos de anställda var det något högre men hos båda grupperna hade drygt hälften ingen formell skoglig utbildning.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain one aspect of how and why the development in the third world is lagging behind. The precondition is that development through an agricultural revolution is necessary and that all countries benefit from trading. But these two conditions are not met today. By using the urban-bias and the world system theory I have analysed how the situation appears to be according to the precondition. It appears that both the urban-bias and the world system theory are essential to understand how and why the situation in third world still has not reached the same development phase as most other countries.

Familjeutredare på akut- och utredningshem är en yrkesgrupp som arbetar med utredning av föräldrars omsorgsförmåga. I arbetet träffar familjeutredaren dagligen människor som befinner sig i svåra livsskeenden. Detta ställer krav på familjeutredarens förmåga att hantera emotioner. Studiens syfte var att bidra till en djupare förståelse för familjeutredares emotionella lönearbete, vilka emotionella krav som ställs och hur de hanterar det. Studien utgick från Grundad teori (GT) och datainsamling innefattade sju semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Therefore, we have studied how the situation looks like beyond the statistics. The aim of our thesis is to examine, due to gender, how female journalists in Cape Town experience and cope with their work situation in a profession traditionally dominated by men.

Att vara förälder till en dotter med ätstörning innebär en svår situation. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara förälder till en dotter med ätstörning. Litteraturstudien var baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: Att ta på sig skulden och anklaga sig själv, Att förlora dottern då sjukdomen tar över och styr familjens liv, Att leva i en mardröm och tappa kon¬trollen, Att känna stöd från dem som kände till sjukdomen var betydelsefullt och Att vilja göra allt för dottern och att aldrig ge upp. Det framkom att föräldrar kände sig skyldiga till dotterns sjukdom.

Antalet mopedolyckor har stadigt ökat sedan 2000 talet. Anledningen tillökningen av antalet olyckor är att antalet mopeder har ökat. För att minskaolyckorna har Polisen, NTF, Transportstyrelsen och Vägverket kraftsamlat för attkomma tillrätta med problemet. Aktörerna är verksamma inom olika områden ochsamarbetet mellan dem ökar alltmer för att bryta trenden av antalet ökade olyckor.På uppdrag av Polismyndigheten i Västernorrlands län studerades det vilkaaktörer som är verksamma inom området och hur de försöker förebygga olyckor.Seminariet ?Ung och odödlig på moped genom livet?, publikationer av aktörernaoch Per Olof Bylund vid Akut- och katastrofmedicinskt centrum och tvåfrågeformulär, har legat till grund till arbetet.

To achievethe purpose the author searched the answer to two main questions during the analyse ofthe different texts.

In the past decade there has been a considerable growth of contingent employment arrangements. In Sweden, the most common among these are the temporary-help service firms. The aim of this study is to investigate how the employees of temporary-help service firms experience their situation as employed by one company and working at another. We have used a qualitative approach to reach an increased understanding for the daily situation of the contingent worker. The essay is based on participant observations and semi-structured interviews with six contingent workers.
