I detta arbete har kraven för miljöcertifieringarna BREEAM och Miljöbyggnad granskats och sammanställts med lösningsförslag i syfte att användas underprojekteringsfasen vid framtagning av byggprojekt på Sesam Arkitektkontor AB. Det är framförallt de energibesparande åtgärderna som framarbetats då dessa varit extra efterfrågade från beställaren av projektet. Båda certifieringssystemen är väldigt omfattande, med en tydlig målsättning inom energi, miljö och inomhusklimat. Beskrivningarna av systemen innehåller tabeller som tydliggör kraven för att uppnå en viss certifieringsnivå. Inledande i rapporten, beskrivs övergripande de olika certifieringssystemen med tillhörande tabeller där krav för respektive system finns specificerat. Fullständig certifiering enligt systemen kan endast uppnås på färdig byggnad. Det arbete som presenteras i rapporten är framtagna till användning i projektering av byggnader.En plan för att nå de energimål som ställs, presenteras i den manual som utgör produkten av arbetet.

Denna studie syftade till att kvalitativt beskriva psykologers syn på DSM-IV-TR och diagnostiseringen som utförs utifrån denna manual. Den syftade också till att utifrån resultatet diskutera relevanta etiska aspekter. Åtta psykologer vid åtta öppenvårdspsykiatriska mottagningar i Stockholmsområdet intervjuades. Intervjuerna bearbetades tematiskt. Två relevanta etiska aspekter diskuteras utifrån resultatet.

Munhälsan är en viktig del av allmänhälsan som kan påverka livskvaliteten. Plack har betydelse för munhälsan och kan vara en bidragande faktor till utveckling av parodontala sjukdomar och karies. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att jämföra den plackavlägsnande effekten med användning av manuell och elektrisk tandborste.Studien utfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie och materialet samlades in genom sökning av vetenskapliga artiklar i databasen Pub Med. Sökorden var ?dental plaque?, ?plaque?, ?dental biofilm?, ?electric toothbrush?, ?power toothbrush? och ?manual toothbrush?.Resultatet baserades på en sammanställning av 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

There are an increasing number of people suffering from depression and depressed mood. Concurrently important benefits have been noticed from the effects of massage, effects that can be assumed to restore individual?s health with depression and depressed mood. The aim of the study was to examine the importance of gentle massage in connection with depression and depressed mood. The research was based on scientific studies that were applied through the databases Cinahl, elin@Kristianstad, PsycARTICLES, PsycINFO, PubMed and the journal Vård i Norden as well as by manual searches.

    Abstract The aim of this paper is to highlight experiences gained by psychotherapists in their work with young adults.  Aspects looked at include: recurring themes, the process of diagnosing young adults, the therapeutic alliance, and the therapeutic techniques.  Six experienced psychodynamic therapists were interviewed, and a semi-structured interview method was used. The results show a high level of agreement between the therapists as to their experiences and conclusions of psychotherapy with young adults.Results presented in this paper suggest that there is a difference between psychodynamic therapy used with young adults, and the more traditional psychodynamic therapy.  The most important difference turned out to be the approach of the therapist toward the patient, where a more active and distinct approach by the therapist to the here-and-now situation was to be preferred. All six therapists came out strongly against the use of the DSM manual when diagnosing young adults. The importance of understanding young adults and their difficulties from a psychological development point of view was stressed, as well as the importance of taking the approach that the years of young adulthood bring their own issues and concerns. It is clear from these interviews that there is a strong need for the establishment of institutions or centres specifically tailored to meet the needs of young adults for psychotherapeutic treatment at an early stage and in an adequate way, in order to avoid unnecessary ?pathologising? of their specific problems.  .

The automotive industry is a highly competitive market characterised by low profit margins or huge losses. Cost reductions have been of top priority for all OEM?s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and will continue to be so for many years to come. Beside cost reductions, reducing the time-to-market is of greatest importance to stay in the competition. OEM?s that are slow to market with products that neither matches customer expectations nor the products of their competitors, will soon loose market shares and see their economical performance falter.

This thesis describes teh solution of two problems regarding safety on powered lawnmowers; protectning the users from injury when using the lawnmower in slopes, and when cleaning the cutting blade.The task was carried out through initial studies on a representative lawnmower. A generation of ideas followed with an evaluation to select the best solution. The winning concept was further developed to reach acceptable performance. The word resulted in a functioning prototype utilising an original way of detecting inclinations without incorrect signals. It c an serve as a platform for further development into a product.The work gives insightful experience of solving real-world problems, and especially to deal with situations where several variables and their effects are unknownPlease note that several parts of the work are confidential, and have therefore been removed from the thesis..

One way of signalling commands to the horse during riding is through applying tension on the reins to create bit pressure in the horse?s mouth (Terada et al., 2006; Clayton et al., 2011). The skilfulness of the rider in using the hands when applying bit pressure has consequences both for the horse?s performance and welfare (Manfredi et al., 2010). At the trot there are large vertical deviations of the horse?s body which the rider must adjust and adapt to (Terada et al., 2006) and an unsteady hand due to inability to follow the horse?s movement can be a source of discomfort and conflict behaviour in the horse (Heleski et al., 2009).

As the occurrence of obesity increases amongst young people, so increases the risk of more people suffering from heart failure as early as during middle age. The aim is to describe the life experiences of middle aged persons living with chronic heart failure. The literature study is based on twelve published, qualitative, and scientifically proved articles derived from MedLine and Cinahl using queries representing the subject, as well as from manual searching in ScienceDirect and LIBRIS. These articles have been analyzed from a life world perspective. Four main themes and four sub themes were identified from the articles' results.

Tillvägagångssätten har skiftat mycket under åren och det är först nu jag börjar landa i sökandet och kan söka för sökandets skull. Förr drömde jag om att bli arkeolog. Där trodde jag mig kunna hitta svar, men allt jag fann var regler och pappersarbete.

This examination work on studies and research in articles is mostly from other countries. The purpose of the examination work have been to find out if there are any means you can work with to find out when its time to start irrigation, how they works and if they are credible. In Sweden there is not many means for decide when it?s time to irrigate and how much water you should appear. Swedish farmers think they have so much experience that they don?t need techniques like this.

Bakgrund: Under 1900-talet skedde flera teknologiska framsteg och Relevance Lost-debatten förändrade synen på den traditionella ekonomistyrningen. De två målstyrningssystemen, det balanserade styrkortet och Hoshin Kanri, anses delvis besvara kritiken samt möjliggöra för företag att implementera sina strategier. Begreppet målkongruens beskrivs på olika sätt av olika författare, varför begreppet är intressant att undersöka samt hur målkongruens kan uppnås i företags planeringsprocesser.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva planeringsprocessen i målstyrningssystem samt att förklara hur målkongruens uppnås. Vidare är syftet att precisera begreppet målkongruens samt formulera en metod för att stärka målkongruens.Metod: För att uppnå uppsatsens syfte har två fallstudier gjorts med två företag som arbetat med att implementera och utveckla arbetet med ett balanserat styrkort och Hoshin Kanri. Tre intervjuer har genomförts på respektive företag med personer med god insyn i och erfarenhet av arbetet med målstyrningssystemen det balanserade styrkortet och Hoshin Kanri.Resultat: De båda målstyrningssystemen är mycket lika.

BACKGROUND: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a slow progressive disease affecting the family caregivers by limiting their lifestyle. Subsequently the situation can be experienced as stressful for both the afflicted and the relatives. To easier understand the needs of the caregivers of family members suffering from COPD have, it is important to get an insight into their experience of every-day life, so that medical staff can help, support and promote their health according to their needs. AIM: To illustrate caregivers? experiences of living with a family member suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

The objectives of this study was to (1) examine Swedish professional bowlers understanding of imagery (2) their experience in imagery (3) see if there was interest in improved use of imagery within bowling. Twelve professional bowling players (M = 30.42), all male, took part in the study. Six of the players were ranked among the best in the world. The instrument that was used was The Individual Profile of Imagery Experiences in Sport (IPIES, Weibull 2008). The result showed that eleven of twelve use imagery within bowling.

The aim of this study was to examine if it was possible to improve fitness and strength in young ice hockey players with help of a training programme based on functional training and aerobic training. The training programme was performed on Halmstad Hockey U-16 team where 17 boys participated in the study. We performed the training in a period of sex weeks with three training occasions each week. These consisted of two functional training sessions and one fitness session. In the beginning we emphasized the importance of a correct performance and technique.
