Bakgrund: En kommun granskas intensivt av dess omgivande samhälle där skandaler och utmärkelser skapar ett externt tryck som pressar organisationer till att reagera. När ett externt tryck uppstår förändras rådande samhällssyn och påverkar organisationers strategiska handlande mot upprätthållande av legitimitet.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva Växjö kommuns interna handlande efter att ett externt tryck uppstått genom en utmärkelse- Europas grönaste stad.Metodval: Studien består av en kvalitativ intern fallstudie. Studien utgår ifrån granskning av offentliga dokument i kombination med ostrukturerade intervjuer som skett genom ett snöbollsurval.Slutsatser: Studien visar på hur kommunen bemött det externa trycket utmärkelsen medfört genom sitt handlande. Detta visas utifrån strategisk anpassning mot det externa trycket. Då två externa tryck motsäger varandra visar kommunens handlande på en anpassning mot det som anses skapa måluppfyllelse.

The purpose is also to givesuggestions for improvements of work tasks and thereby simplify and improve thematerial handling at the packing process.The background of the task is that Spaljisten AB is going to increase theirproduction and thereby they also need to increase the packing rate of theirproducts. They will manage this by installing a new automated packing line andincrease the efficiency of the old manual one. The theoretical background ismostly obtained from literature which contains relevant facts for our report.The storage area has been studied visually in order to search for improvements oftoday?s layout.

Samtidigt tycks det finnas en enighet kring att organisationer bör anpassa sig till och eftersträva organisatoriskt lärande. I denna studie vill vi belysa begreppets komplexitet när det undersöks i en organisatorisk verklighet. Metod: En studie har genomförts i en högrisk organisation (HRO) där nio personer intervjuats. Intervjuerna har baserats på litteratur och forskning om den organisatoriska lärandeprocessens nyckelaspekter. Det empiriska materialet har analyserats utifrån de nyckelbegrepp som framkom i intervjuerna; handlingsutrymme och förändringsbenägenhet (avseende rutiner). Resultat: Vår studie visar att begreppen handlingsutrymme och förändringsbenägenhet (avseende rutiner) förstås utifrån den organisatoriska kontexten.

Vår yrkesmässiga erfarenhet som hälsopedagoger har fått oss intresserade av att undersöka den pedagogiska aspekten av det lärande som rehabiliteringsdeltagare gör som hälsobefrämjande aktivitet i samband med en arbetslivsinriktad rygg- och nackrehabilitering vid Svenska Rygginstitutet AB. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om och i så fall på vilket sätt en arbetslivsinriktad rygg- och nackrehabilitering bidrar till deltagarens lärande, insikter och befrämjande av hälsa. Fyra deltagare som genomgått en sådan rehabilitering intervjuades. Intervjuerna spelades in och transkriberades för vidare analys utifrån kvalitativ narrativ metod. Undersökningens resultat visar att upplägg där aktivt lärande betonas och informationsförmedling samt reflektion varvas med att praktiskt få prova på och erfara, gör förvärvande av såväl nya insikter och kunskaper som ökad förståelse möjligt och tillgängligt.

As trucks are getting more and more advanced, information about their weight has become a key factor for controlling them in a more fuel efficient and safe manner. Knowing the mass of a heavy duty vehicle in real time has been a difficult challenge for the truck manufacturers. With the processing power for electronic control units in trucks steadily increasing, more advanced algorithms for calculating the mass has been developed, but at the moment there still is a wish for better performance.Since there is a lack of good information regarding the external forces acting on the vehicle, forces that depends on the slope of the road, foundation of the road and the wind, the methods have to be able to disregard these. Such an approach, based on an indirect least square solution, has been evaluated in this thesis. The results have been promising and based on these a recommendation about further evaluation has been made..

The aim of this report is to investigate how the work handling at the department for arriving goods at EFG in Tranås is working, as well as how it could be improved and made more effective. EFG is a corporation who process and sell office furniture. The company is working with a project concerning delivery precision, the subject is therefore particularly interesting from the perspective of delivery accuracy. The number of orders has increased notably during the fall of 2005 and the spring of 2006. This has led to new demands at the department for arriving goods and the topic is as a result of that important also from this point of view.Interviews and investigations have been conducted at location since no written material earlier has been made in the topic.

Sammanfattning Denna uppsats handlar om barns tankar efter att ha läst en skönlitterär bok med en historisk handling. Jag har valt att intervjua fem barn i tioårsåldern som går på olika skolor i en mellanstor stad. Mitt syfte är att ta reda på vilka kunskaper barnen tillägnar sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Min huvudfråga lyder: ?Vad anser barnen att de lär sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Delfrågor: ?Vad anser barnen påverkar deras intresse för en bok? ?Hur kan en bok med historisk handling öka intresset för historieämnet? För att få svar på mina frågor har jag använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer med en narrativ ansats. Med detta menas en forskningstradition som tar utgångspunkt i berättelser.

This report is made as a literature review, focusing on the work done to increase understanding of efficiency in the categories of substations and secondary heating systems, with respect to the deviation from the theoretically possible cooling off in the distribution network as well as the economic benefit that appear. The main purpose of a considerable part of the literature used in this report addresses the issue of identifying individual causes of reduced cooling in district heating systems. These literature resources have been compiled and summarized as part of the report.The technology of district heating is associated with benefits such as better use of the energy in a fuel. This is the case of cogeneration plants where serial generation of electricity and thermal energy increases efficiency compared with the parallel generation where heat is generated locally and electricity is generated centrally. Serial generation thus allows for lower primary energy demand.

The sludgebark and to a certain extent the bark were until a decade ago waste products without any economic value that were thrown away. A number of environmental laws and increcing energy prices have improved the prerequisites for increasing the use of these materials. At Seskarö sawmill they burn the sludgebark and a great deal of the bark in the sawmill furnace. The sludgebark has a number of disadvantages compared to bark during burning. The sludgebark is often wet which means the energy net from burning often gets low.

This study investigates the relationship strategies the group Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification holder has with the forest owners. The (FSC) standard enables an organization to manage a group of forest management units under a single certificate, a process referred to as group certification. Some certificate holders want a close relationship with the forest owner before they are offered to become part of their certificate. Other certificate holders have less strict demands on a close relationship with the forest owner before they are offered to become part of their certificate. The study shows that it is in many ways desirable to have a close relationship between forest owner and group certification holder..

This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

The purpose of this essay is to examine which factors that influence the design of internal control in municipal context and how well it works. We choose seven municipals, where we interviewed the administrative managers, the chairmen of the committees and two persons of the staff in each activity unit. The interviews were performed by telephone, due to the keeping of the essay?s timeframe.The theory in our essay comprises eight hypotheses. These hypotheses were operationalised into different variables aiming to make statistical tests possible.

Handledning utförs med en handledningsmodell som grund där samarbetet mellan lärosätet och den kliniska verksamheten tydliggörs. Olika pedagogiska modeller finns utarbetade med syfte att stödja studenten i lärandet. Kärnan i handledning är reflektion som möjliggör sammankoppling mellan teori och praktik. Att tydliggöra vilken betydelse reflektion har för studentens lärande är väsentligt.  Syfte: Syftet med studien var att tydliggöra reflektionens betydelse för studentens lärande i klinisk praktik samt att beskriva faktorer som främjar respektive hindrar reflektion.  Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie valdes enligt Polit & Beck.

The aims of the study were to investigate the prevalence and antibiotic resistance of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli in chicken and chicken products, and to investigate farmer awareness of antibiotic resistance development. The study was conducted in the Can Tho province in Vietnam during six weeks in October to November 2008. Ninety-six samples from raw chickens were collected from twelve market places and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. A total of 96 cloacal swabs from 20 farms were obtained and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. Farmers were asked to answer eight questions concerning the housing of the chickens, modes of handling sick animals as well as use and knowledge of antibiotics and resistance development to antibiotics.
