This paper examines women's positions in the music industry. By quantitativelyinvestigate ten major companies on the swedish music market, the authors have beenable to mapp positions that are dominated by women and as well as men. The essaydiscusses several theories of both gender in organizations and gender in society inorder to analyze the quantitative results.The aim of the paper is to highlight the current segregation of careers in the musicindustry as well as to lay a foundation for further research on why it is segregated.Clear graphs shows the gender distribution between women and men in business butalso the distribution of gender in occupations / positions in similar companies. In theanalysis the authors reflects on the results using relevant gender theories. In theconclusion, the authors explain the result generated by the analysis and illustrates theprevailing segregation that exists in the music industry.This paper has concluded that a seemingly even distribution between men andwomen in business organisations can sometimes be misleading.

Uppsatsen strävar efter att undersöka och belysa den problematik som präglar den svenska tobakspolitiken. Jag har identifierat tre centrala frågeställningar:* Vad utgörs det strukturella problemet av?* Vad gör lagstiftaren respektive tillämparen?* Hur manövrerar lagstiftaren för att undvika politiska kostnader och till synes lösa det strukturella problemet?(utdrag ur uppsatsens "Frågeställning och syfte").

Efter företagsskandaler runt millennieskiftet i bland annat USA och Sverige så har lagar och regler skärpts kring bolagsstyrning. I Sverige har ett nytt regelverk införts för bolagsstyrning, Svensk kod för Bolagsstyrning. Den ursprungliga koden började gälla 1 juli 2005, då gällde den bara börsnoterade bolag i Sverige med ett marknadsvärde på över tre miljarder kronor. 1 juli 2008 kom den reviderade koden för bolagsstyrning ut, som omfattar samtliga bolag på den svenska börsen. Den reviderade koden har omarbetats för att passa de mindre såväl som de större företagen på börsen.

Therefore it is important to identify in which areas skills and resources already are available within the company, and where it must be obtained through a learning process.The report also highlights that equity based crowdfunding, because of legal restrictions surrounding the issue of unlisted shares, can not be marketed as other types of crowdfunding. This leads to the conclusion that those who invest in equity based crowdfunding do not necessarily belong to the crowd that crowdfunding is generally associated with. Arguments can be made that this crowdfunding model rather resemble traditional angel networks.A technical study was also made about the company's products.

Varje år uppkommer nya fall där Skatteverket (SKV) tvistar med enskilda näringsidkare, bolag och arbetstagare (AT) om beskattning av studie- och konferensresor. Tvisterna uppkommer till följd av parternas olika uppfattningar angående vad som är avdragsgilla kostnader alternativt vad som ska förmånsbeskattas.Studie- och konferensresor kan, under vissa omständigheter, i sin helhet utgöra en avdragsgill kostnad för enskilda näringsidkare och bolag enligt 16 kap. inkomstskattelagen (1999:1229) (IL). Dessa omständigheter är dock begränsade och det är dessa begränsningar som utgör en betydande faktor som SKV tar hänsyn till vid en revision. I de fall SKV anser att begränsningarna är överskridna kommer resorna anses utgöra semester för de anställda och detta ger upphov till löneförmånsbeskattning hos dem.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether or not capitalism, viewed here as the system that is currently the dominant economic system in the Western world, can be seen as a modern myth or not. An author, Brian Tracy, of several popular self-help books is the target of this investigation and the language he uses in his books have been scrutinized in order to see whether or not he uses a religiously influenced, and more importantly, myth-creating language. In order to do so, Bruce Lincolns theories of myth have been used in correlation with Stefan Arvidssons definition ov myths. Also of interest is whether or not Tracy in his books uses any of the instruments of power defined by Michel Foucault to support his claims.The investigation shows that capitalism indeed can be seen as a modern myth. This claim is supported by the facts that Tracy not only uses a language heavily influenced by Christian texts and belief but furthermore because he descirbes himself and the people he claims to have helped in a way that strongly resembles the narratives of myths.

Att förebygga brott som stöld ur bil är därför en viktig uppgift, både för polis och de ansvariga för de områden där bilar parkeras. Vi har valt att arbeta med ett av Göteborgs Parkeringshus (?Lisebergs parkeringshus?, Sofierovägen) i syfte att finna konkreta förslag på hur stöld ur bil kan förebyggas på platsen, hur brotten varierar över året och om det i så fall skulle krävas särskilda insatser under den tid då parkeringshuset är som mest drabbat av brott..

Bakgrund: Vårdrelaterade infektioner utgör ett betydande hot för alla patienter inom somatisk vård och förknippas med stora ekonomiska kostnader. Den huvudsakliga orsaken är bristande handhygienrutiner och problemet skulle kunna elimineras med högre följsamhet. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskors följsamhet till basala hygienrutiner inom somatisk vård. Metod: En litteraturöversikt där artiklar med kvalitativ och kvantitativ inriktning som uppfyllde förutbestämda krav utvaldes för analys. Tolv artiklar selekterades fram.

Ekonomiskt bistånd är ett ständigt aktuellt ämne när det kommer till kommunernas socialtjänst. Under många år har en stadig ökning av både kostnader för ekonomiskt bistånd samt längd på bidragsperioden skett i Sveriges kommuner. Och trots med en av världens mest välutvecklade välfärder, har kommunerna inte kommit underfund med den fattigdom som existerar i deras vardag. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vad som kan ligga bakom denna ökning av ekonomiskt bistånd. Genom en metod som baseras på statistisk analys har ambitionen varit att finna bakgrundsfaktorer med tillräckligt starkt samband som kan förklara kostnaderna i utbetalt ekonomiskt bistånd i de svenska kommunernas socialtjänst.

The aim of this study is to analyze the justification of a financial incentive that rewards students who rapidly finish their studies within the language education ?Swedish for immigrants? (sfi). Thereby, we want to see what assumptions are made about the students, and relate this to experiences of the education at a local level. We applied a text analysis on a government bill about the incentive, which showed that the deficiencies in the education are said to be caused by the students? lack of effort.

Hepatitis E virus, HEV, is a frequent causative agent behind, especially waterborne, infections in developing countries such as India. However, during the last years the number of non-travel-associated infections in industrialised countries, for example US, Germany and Sweden, has increased. The symptoms vary from mild with nausea to icterus and it can even be lethal. There are four different genotypes of HEV and many studies consider HEV infection to be a zoonosis. Scientists have by using phylogenetic analyses found great genetic similarity between strains isolated from humans, pigs and food, such as pork and liver, especially among viruses belonging to genotype 3.

Purpose: To examine the governance mechanisms and the competence PE-firms adds to theirholding companies through an active ownership in order to create growth.Methodology: A qualitative study with interviews as its main source of data.Theoretical perspectives: Corporate governance and relevant theories within that subjectsuch as agent theory, board of directors and management. Previous research within the subjectwill also be presented.Empirical foundation: The empirical foundation consists of three conducted interviews anddata collected from the chosen PE-firms as well as six different holding companies.Conclusions: The governance mechanisms used in the PE-firms we have chosen are stronglyrelated to both theories within corporate governance as well as previous research on thesubject. The governance mechanisms being used are an explicit owners agenda and strategy, athorough acquisition process, usage of external competence, active ownership through theboard of directors and the insertion of incentive systems..

Detta examensarbete undersöker orsaker till och kostnader för interna kvalitetsbrister hos Gyllensvaans Möbler AB. Det är ett familjeföretag med 220 anställda som av folierade och kantlistade spånskivor tillverkar och levererar cirka 13 000 möbler per dag till IKEA. Företagsledningen har misstänkt att kvalitetsbristkostnaderna varit omfattande och ville ha kostnaderna och orsakerna undersökta närmare i ett examensarbete.Arbetet började med en period i produktionen för att få en inblick i produktionsförloppet, företagets kvalitetspolicy, operatörernas arbete samt vilka olika slags kvalitetsbrister som uppkommer. Därefter teoristudier om kvalitetsbristkostnader och genomgång av företagets materialplaneringssystem. Intervjuer gjordes sedan med avdelningsledare, kvalitetssamordnare och produktionstekniker för att få reda på orsakerna till uppkomna kvalitetsbrister.
