I denna explorativa studie unders?ktes sambandet mellan personlighetsdrag, med fokus p? samvetsgrannhet, och preferenser f?r konflikthanteringsstrategier hos svenska polisstudenter.

Boomerang and Vagabond are twoSwedish companies which not only managed to penetrate the Swedish market, but also aninternational market. These are two Swedish companies which started from scratch as anyother company.

The debate about women and equality is a very burning issue in the Swedish society today. There are a lot of articles, TV-programs, books and web sites treating the position of female leaders today. There are also a lot of myths strongly attached to our minds hindering the equalization process between men and women.The main purpose of our study was to look at women as leaders and identify potential tendencies in businesses sectors dominated by mainly men or women. We also wanted to find out whether leadership behavior is more or less oriented towards relations- or task in any of the chosen sectors. It was even in our interest to see if our chosen respondents supported the myths in our society about male and female qualities.We interviewed 20 women in four different sectors, two dominated by men (Computer/It, Transport) and two dominated by women (School, Healthcare).

Many pedigree dogs are suffering from inherited diseases or personality disorders caused by selective breeding. The Swedish lapphund is a breed that has been suffering from some loss of genetic variation due to the heavy use of only a few males. Concerns have arisen and crossbreeding has been discussed as a way to manage gene loss. Four breeds has been taken into consideration for this purpose; schipperke, finish lapphund, Norwegian buhund and Norwegian elkhound, black. These breeds has been tested theoretical by a comparison of mentality and health.

Bakgrund: Borderline personlighetsstörning karaktäriseras av stark impulsivitet, långvariga känslor av tomhet, självskadebeteende och destruktiva relationer. Suicidrisken uppskattas till 8-10%. Orsaken till borderline personlighetsstörning är ej helt känd men studier har visat att barndomstrauma och negativa händelser i livet kan vara en bidragande faktor till insjuknade. Majoriteten, 75%, av de som utvecklar borderline personlighetsstörning är kvinnor. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med borderline personlighetsstörning. Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes där kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar granskades.

Good conditions in the workplace, fairness in the workplace and the social differences contribute to a general improvement in public health. A health-promoting leader is working to create a workplace that promotes health, supports its employees and contributes to their wellbeing. The purpose of this study was to investigate the first-line managers in the city of Västerås experience and deal with their conditions and obstacles in the health-promoting leadership. A qualitative approach was chosen and the selection was six first-line managers working in three different areas of the City of Västerås. Managers were interviewed by an interviewguide and the material was analyzed with a manifest content analysis, with an inductive approach.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka grundutbildade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av sin kunskap för att bemöta och vårda patienter med borderline personlighetsstörning samt undersöka vilka kunskaper de önskade att grundutbildningen skulle ge. Sju legitimerade sjuksköterskor utan specialisering inom psykiatri som arbetar i Mellansverige deltog i studien. Studien hade en deskriptiv design med kvalitativ ansats. Det insamlade materialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Studiens huvudresultat visade att sjuksköterskorna tyckte att psykiatriutbildningen gav en bra teoretisk grund men att den inte alltid överensstämmer med praktiken.

AbstractWorking with child and youth welfare is one of the most difficult challenges a social worker might face in the field of social work. Those who work with child and youth welfare are more exposed to stress and burnout than other comparable human service occupations. Research links the prevalence of stress and burnout to several key variables, such as demographics, working conditions and personality factors. In contrast, even though social workers in this field face many negative work-related problems they report a high job satisfaction. The aim of this study is to examine how uplifting and straining experiences affect social workers, who work with child and youth welfare, through the use of The Critical Incident Technique and interviews.

According to the curriculum for primary schools, pre-school and after-school Lgr11 says that students should experience different feelings and moods using different forms of expression including drama (Lgr11 2011:10). The purpose of this study was to examine how educational drama is used in three elementary schools and for what purpose in teaching. The aim was also to examine the four teachers' perceptions of what educational drama means to them.I have used a qualitative approach with interviews and contacted four teachers from three different schools to get different information for my study. Three of them were educated teachers and one of them was an actor. The information provided in the interviews was analyzed using educational drama theory and previous research. The interviews with the teachers and the actor showed the use of different methods of educational drama in education.

The aim of this essay is to investigate the function and development of non-player characters (NPC) in the TV/computer game Dragon Age: Origins. The NPCs are analysed in order to see if their development is affected by the player character?s (PC) background and interactions. The game?s ethics is also investigated by studying how the NPCs treat the PC and what significance they give to his background and actions.The results show that the NPCs are affected by the PC?s interactions, and furthermore, that they are round characters, which is unusual in TV/computer games.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att studera huruvida intagna på en störrekriminalvårdsanstalt (klass A) i Mellansverige, skiljer sig i personlighetsdragen Samvetsgrannhet, Vänlighet, Extraversion, Emotionell Stabilitet och Öppenhet ijämförelse med två kontrollgrupper. Tidigare forskning har visat att kriminella personer ligger lägre i skalorna (faktorerna) som mäter Samvetsgrannhet och Vänlighet, i jämförelse med ostraffade individer (t.ex., Miller & Lynam, 2001). Den primära hypotesen var följaktligen att söka diskrepans mellan just Samvetsgrannhet och Vänlighet i enlighet med tidigare empiri. Studien genomfördes med ett självskattningsformulär som stödjer sig på en svensk översättning från Goldbergs (1992) International Personality Item Pool (IPIP)beträffande grundläggande personlighetskaraktärer. Studien utgjordes av intagna(n = 46) och två kontrollgrupper bestående av studenter (n = 32) samt vaktpersonal (n = 45) vid en klass A anstalt i Sverige.

Within this essay a study is made of an LGBTQ-orientated Christian service in Stockholm called Queer Service. The following questions seek to be answered: What reasons does an individual set for his/hers participation in Queer Service? Which aspects of a queer service highlight the participants as important to them?As a method to answer these questions, the author has observed a number of queer church services in autumn of 2012. Moreover communication within the group of the assembly on the social media page Facebook has been followed and five individuals from the Queer Service congregation have been interviewed. As a background to the study, the European religious climate seen from Grace Davies eyes is depicted.  The reader also learns of how the Swedish church has handled questions about homosexuality and bisexuality and what liberation theology is.

Borderline Personlighetstörning är en psykiatrisk diagnos som definieras genom symtom som bristande impulskontroll, relationsproblem och självskadeproblem.Flera av dessa symtom är av den karaktären att de förorsakar beteenden som gör att möjligheten till att ge en god omvårdnad försvåras. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva sjuksköterskors attityder och upplevelser av att vårda patienter som lider av diagnosen BPS.Resultatet analyserades utifrån Evans (2003) modell. Studien har visat vilka utmaningar sjuksköterskan upplever i mötet med patienter med BPS när det gäller relation och omvårdnad.Sjuksköterskorna beskriver negativa attityder och upplevelser i arbetet med patienter med BPS. Vidare har det framkommit att sjuksköterskorna har föreställningar om egenskaper av farlighet och manipulation när det gäller patienter med BPS.

The main purpose of this Master´s thesis is to examine how Swedish librari-ans manage and relate to social problems within the service to young visitors. To reach understanding in this subject, qualitative interviews with six Swedish public librarians have been conducted. As a theoretical framework the ideas of interactions and identity have been used. These concepts together with attitude and behavior, form the theoreti-cal model upon which the analysis of the material is based. The outcome of the study shows that social problems exists and affect the library staff?s daily work.

The aim of the study was to understand professionals? perceptions and experiences of adolescent stress. In the study I interested myself further if you can identify gender-specific patterns in the professional stories about young people's stress and stress related illness. Five interviews were conducted with professionals in psychiatry and social work. The thesis took its incipience in social constructionism.
