This thesis investigates the situation for comics in Swedish public libraries. The main questions is separated into two groups, the first dealing with the physical situation were we investigate placement, cataloguing and shelf arrangement. The second deals with the librarians attitudes towards comics and how they may affect their work. The base for this thesis is the idea that the comic medium may sometimes be treated different than the rest of the libraries collections. Because of this, a theoretical basis is developed which focus on different views on comics.

Vårt intresse i detta examensarbete har varit att studera barn med behov av särskilt stöd samt hur undervisningen sker i en särskola. Syftet är att upptäcka och belysa vilka redskap som pedagogen använder sig av i undervisningen. Redskapen kommer vi att identifiera samt namnge desamma i kategorier som gäller för den specifika klassen. En kvalitativ metod används i examensarbetet och observation i kombination med ostrukturerade intervjuer ligger till grund för vårt resultat. De ostrukturerade intervjuerna leder till en utvidgning av de insamlade materialen, i jämförelse med om enbart observation hade genomförts. I analysen kommer vi att presentera material från observationen och de ostrukturerade intervjuerna och utifrån dessa gruppera pedagogens agerande i olika kategorier som vi sedan kommer att namnge. Fältstudien resulterade i fyra kategorier och de kategorierna som vi kunde särskilja är upprepning, struktur, tydlighet och koncentration. I anslutning till varje kategori har vi jämfört och kopplat till litteraturen. Begreppet ?en skola för alla? har som avsikt att ge varje elev möjlighet till en likvärdig skolgång.

En upprörd patient sitter i väntrummet på en akutmottagning. Patienten har väntat på vård i flera timmar och äntligen kommer en sjuksköterska in. Patienten reser sig upp och bereder sig på att följa med. Tyvärr utropar sjuksköterskan någon annans namn och den väntande patienten frågar undrande: ?Ursäkta, när är det min tur?? Problem:Vi anser att det finns problem i arbetsprocessen på akutmottagningen som orsakar att patienten får vänta onödigt länge.

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how librarians andteachers work together and with the help of other researchtry to understand what influences this cooperation. The studyis based on the following questions:1. These two professional groups have differentprofessional identities and work in two differentprofessional cultures. How does this affect theircooperation?2.

Environmental chemicals are transported to the Arctic through the air and oceans, once within the Arctic they spread through rivers, lakes and other watercourses. Polar bears and sledge dogs in-gest high concentrations of environmental chemicals since many of the chemicals are fat-soluble and their diet mainly consists of marine mammals. The aim of this study is to describe how environmental chemicals spread in nature, how they reach the polar bears, and finally how they affect the animals reproduction, with reproductive hormones and genitals in focus. The animals are exposed to a cocktail effect which complicates the assessment of the chemicals impact on the reproduction. Studies show that the genitals can decrease in size or become malformed, sexual maturation can be affected and the reproductive hormones can be disturbed.

En attraktiv stadskärna skapar folkliv och rörelse i det offentliga rummet och fungerar som ett upplevelserum för stadens invånare, inget av detta finns idag i Söderhamns stadskärna. Befolkningsutvecklingen i Söderhamns kommun minskar med ca 220 personer per år och staden är i stort behov av en attraktiv stadskärna. Syftet med denna studie var att ta fram olika planeringsförslag till Söderhamns kommun som de kan använda sig av i utvecklingen för en attraktiv stadskärna. Två metoder användes för att ta fram olika planeringsförslag vilka var observation och innehållsanalys. I observationen användes Kevin Lynchs analysmetod samt en SWOT-analys för att bedöma vilka utvecklingsbehov Söderhamns stadskärna har.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med uppsatsen var att genom systematisk observation undersöka hur en ungdomsfotbollstränare använder sig av beteenden som är överensstämmande med Enhanced Guided Discovery (EGD) och Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) i sin tränarroll under träning. Syftet besvarades med hjälp av följande frågeställningar: Hur ser fördelningen ut för tränaren med instruktionsbeteenden, feedback och frågetekniker? Hur stor del av träningen går åt till aktiviteter i training form respektive playing form?MetodMetoden som användes var en systematisk deltagande observation. Observationen gjordes i realtid och följde en modifierad version av Coach Analysis and Intervention System (CAIS)(Cushion, Harvey, Muir & Nelson 2012, s. 201ff.; Partington & Cushion 2011).

Syftet var att göra en studie av hur affekter regleras, hanteras och upplevs hos en grupp av individer som har haft ett substansberoende. En jämförelse gjordes inom gruppen utifrån vilken substans som föredrogs och en jämförelse med en normalgrupp gjordes. Den första hypotesen var att det finns en skillnad mellan olika grupperna av individer som haft olika typer av substansberoende i hur affektintensitet och affektmedvetenhet ser ut. Den andra hypotesen var att gruppen med individer som haft substansberoende hade lägre affektmedvetenhet än en normalgrupp. Sammanlagt deltog 39 individer, 17 kvinnor och 22 män i studien.

Due to increasing product availability and higher demands on fast deliveries, the competition between companies is growing. To be able to satisfy the customers? requests an efficient logistics system with short throughput time is required. By using tools associated with Lean production companies are able to make great improvements in their manufacturing systems and reduce lead times to satisfy customer demands.There are two classifications associated with manufacturing, high variety and low volume (HVLV) and low volume and high variety (LVHV). The general belief is that the concept of Lean production is difficult to implement in a production environment with high variety and low volume due to the concept being adapted to mass production.

In this essay we strive to examine how the social work in Sweden will be affected if the Swedish welfare model goes through fundamental changes. The study illuminates the close connection between the Swedish collective bargaining model and the Swedish welfare system. The questions we present in this essay, and hopefully answer satisfactory, are: is the Swedish welfare model subject to thorough changes? How will such a change alter the social work in Sweden?, is the Swedish collective bargaining model in a state of modification? Would a modification in the collective bargaining model have effects on the Swedish welfare model?We have used a qualitative method in collecting empirical material. We interviewed three representatives, who worked for Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, IF Metall and The Swedish Municipal Workers respectively.

Farmed mink often perform stereotypic behaviours which is considered to be a sign of reduced welfare. Previous studies have shown that enriched cages can reduce the frequency of performed stereotypies. Most studies on mink in Sweden have been done on adults. The aim of this study was to investigate if larger enriched cages with two or four mink kits reduce stereotypies in mink kits during their growth period in comparison to traditional cages. In the present study the behaviours of mink kits that were kept in four different treatments at a private mink farm were recorded. Traditional cages with two mink kits were used as a reference and the other treatments consisted of larger cages with shelves with two kits, larger cages with shelves and a plastic cylinder with two kits, and larger cages with shelves with four kits.

I denna studie har vi studerat den fysiska inomhusmiljön med fokus på lekhall och hemvrå i två förskolor. Vi har undersökt hur den fysiska miljön kan ha betydelse för barns fria lek och samspel. Denna studie genomsyras av två olika teoretiska utgångspunkter, det miljöpsykologiska samt det sociokulturella perspektivet. Studien utgick ifrån fyra frågeställningar där samspel och kommunikation, kulturella redskap, den fysiska miljöns påverkningar i barns fria lek samt det komplexa rummets betydelse var av intresse. I denna kvalitativa studie använde vi oss av observation med videostöd som metod där vi studerade de yngre barnens fria lek och samspel med den fysiska inomhusmiljön.

Process standardization is a topic that has generated a lot of research and literature. At first, the focus was on production; today processes are used in all different kind of business areas.The aim of this study has been to analyze how processes can be applied on development businesses and how IT systems affect the result of the process. To accomplish this, we have asked questions such as what standardization is in a development process? Why are the processes standardized? What difficulties can appear with standardization? And how the IT-systems affect the result of the process?To answer these questions, we have preformed a case study on Saab. Saab is a well know Swedish company who are working with a project called the GMS-project, where they develop processes to cover the whole company´s business areas.The literature gives the reader an understanding of processes and standardization.

ABSTRACTStatistics show that breastfeeding prevalence for Sweden has fallen since the mid 90´s. Studies show that breastfeeding offers health benefits to both mother and child and that the mothers' belief and confidence in their ability to breastfeed is a key factor to having a positive breastfeeding outcome. In 2010, Amningshjälpen in collaboration with Sensus studieförbund, started a nursing course, for mothers-to-be, who wished to breastfeed their babies and its aim was to prepare them for a successful and enjoyable experience.Objective: To examine whether a preparatory breastfeeding course can affect mothers' confidence in their ability to breastfeed and if that ability can affect the breastfeeding outcome when the child reaches four months. A further aim is to investigate the experience of  perceived problems surrounding breastfeeding and what affect these might have on the mothers' confidence in breastfeeding when the child reaches four months.Design/Methods: A quantitative approach with prospective experimental design was used to evaluate the study. The questionnaire Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form (BSES-SF) was used three times to measure women's trust in lactation.

The use and attention given to the certification system ?Miljöbyggnad? has increasedin recent years. The system is completely Swedish and was initiated in 2005 by theBygga-Bo-Dialogen. Miljöbyggnad aims to create a healthy indoor environment, reduceenergy consumption and discourage the use of hazardous chemical substances. Thegrades that can be obtained are Classified, Brons, Silver and finally Gold.The work has been to examine three different models and conclude how the designof the models affect the grades in the certification system Miljöbyggnad.
