The main purpose of a logotype is to harmonize with a company?s business concept and culture. This study is based on the receiver?s attitudes about three different logotypes - Volvo, Telia and Mcdonald's. It informs the reader about the importance of a logotype as a mean of communication and if the perceptions of the logotype harmonize with the profile of the company.

This study examines the players experience, environments and objects in the videogame World of Warcraft. The purpose of this study is to get more knowledge about the players experience in the game with the focus on factors contributing to some form of immersion or/and presence. The data for this study were gathered using interviews as method and then analyzed with relevant literature in the chosen field. A game content analysis and a group of questions are tested with the results of the study which is presented at the end in with an analytic discussion. .

Som sjuksköterska/ handledare är du ansvarig för patientsäkerheten och avgör om den som handleds har tillräckligt goda kunskaper att utföra vårdhandlingar. Tidigare studier visar att brist på tid, brist på stöd, bristande erfarenheter och kunskaper har stor betydelse för att kunna ge en bra handledning. Frågan är hur vi kan påverka handledarna till att kunna ge ett bättre handledarskap. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva anestesisjuksköterskans upplevelser av att handleda studenter.

This thesis deals with the compatibility between analysis software Revit Structure2012 and Robot Structural Analysis 2012. The purpose is to become more aware ofinformation management models to be compatible across different softwareapplications. The structural model is made to be optimal for the compatibility of othersoftware Aim is also to gain an understanding of the transferring methods that exist,and which method is most convenient to use and to examine whether the methodswork in practice. Objective of this project is to make the modeling processtime-efficient for constructors. Models do not need to be structured in severaloccasions in different software; it only needs an optimal model that transfers properlybetween software.The method used in the thesis consist cases where the transferring process isexamined.

This social psychological qualitative study demonstrate how the children?s play begin and what significant important it has in the child?s identity progress. The main subject in this social- psychological study is the child?s self and how through imagination, creativity and spontaneity the human?s personal identity is discovered. However the study is based upon the children?s plays in day- care, the children whom are being objects for the study are from 3-6 years old.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to study how libraries handle metadata in institutional repositories. The methodology of the study is semi-structured interviews with librarians from all Swedish libraries that currently use the institutional repository system DSpace. Metadata schemes from the different libraries have also been studied. As analytical tools the study uses the user tasks presented in Functional Requirement for Bibliographic Records, as well as a study of metadata quality made by Jung-Ran Park. The study shows a rather big difference between the ways the libraries use institutional repositories.

The purpose of the study is to examine the multilingual student?s use of IT in school.The study also highlights the teacher?s view of development and how they use IT in their own teaching.A qualitative approach study was conducted to acquire a deeper understanding of students' language learning by using IT. In the study, it was assumed socio-cultural perspective in which learning takes place through interaction with others.The result shows that multilingual students have difficulty understanding information available on the internet and they are either waiting to meet a teacher to get a clearer picture of what to do or doing tasks even though in some cases misunderstand the task. Language teachers also confirm student?s impression and at the same time express the concern that students are reading less.This study shows that there may be correlation between students' learning motivation and an understanding of instructions online.

This is a comparative literature study between two children?s bibles and the Swedish Bible. The study compares three stories from the Bible with the children?s bible versions of them. The purpose of the study is to see whether God is portrayed differently in the children?s bibles, and if so, in what way.

This study is a study of the assessment and grading of Swedish students with physical disabilities in physical education. The purpose of the study has been to look into how teachers assess and grade students with physical disabilities, and if there are any difficulties or problems in this assessment and grading. Focus has been on students in year three to six because this is where the assessments and grading take place. It?s a qualitative study, where eight teachers have been interviewed using a semi-structured interview model.

The study concerns the history and development of hospitallibraries in Sweden in the beginning of the 1900 century.Focus is on the 1930 decade, the time of major expansionof the area. The study is based on study of literature, mainlyfrom articles but also from a few booklets from the time.The purpose of the study is to find out how the librarieswere described in the literature of the time and which goalsand tasks they had. This is a case study about the effects that disasters have on social work. The case in question is the fire in Berga village, Kalmar, which took place the 12: th of October 2011. The aim of this study is to describe the ways in which Kalmar worked crime preventive towards young people before the fire and after. The study also aims to specify if, and how the disaster affected the crime preventive work with young people. In this study we define the fire like a disaster and disaster has the ability to create changes in policy.

Mitt arbete handlar om mötet mellan rysk konstruktivism och science fiction. Detta har jag gestaltat i ett textilt rum inspirerad av science fictionkarraktären Doktorn ur Doctor Who. Doktorn är en utomjording av en långt mer utvecklad art och från en mer avancerad civilisation än människorna, som reser i tid och rum i sitt tids-och rymdskepp TARDIS. Jag har designat ett rum som är min textila tolkning av TARDIS innersta. Arbetet kretsar kring tankar om gestaltning av en flerdimensionalitet som bara kan anas, inte ses eller förstås.

Artikelsökning på vetenskapliga artiklar gjordes i databaserna Pub Med och AcademicSearchElite. En begräns-ning gjordes på årtalen 1999 ? 2007 och olika sökordskombinationer användes utifrån sökor-den palliative care, nursing at home, caregivers, need a nurse at home, quality of life, rehabili-tation och advanced nurse. Exklusionskriterier var artiklar som inkluderade barn och AIDS-sjuka.

The dialysis ward at Karolinska University Hospital is a highly pressurized work environment filled with critical treatment situations where patient?s lives can be constantly in danger. Staff have to deal with a myriad of alarms and error codes in response to their patients varying ailments. The workforce at the dialysis ward lack controlled environment training, sufficient to address all of the potential treatment scenarios, with no risk of jeopardizing the patient?s condition.The purpose of this essay is to design and test the efficacy of using an IT based device for dialysis education at Karolinska University Hospital.The main topics this essay intends to address are:? Identification of user scenarios and training fields.? Prioritization of key training areas.? Utilization of IT in effective staff training.? Design of a conceptual prototype.The process focuses on the user and their needs.
