This study is made in order to see how music teachers pedagogic design their teaching from a semiotic design theoretical perspective. A survey was done in a study to see how the music college students experienced their music theory teaching. This was followed by an observation of two different music theory teachers teaching music theory and with subsequent interviews. One teacher taught music theory at a swedish non-compulsory School of Arts, Kulturskola, and the other music teacher taught at an independent Adult education college. The study's questionnaire, observation and interview revealed patterns of teaching, probably largely due to the teaching tradition.

This article seeks to examine the effects alcohol abuse have on the growth of women and how, as adults, their lives are affected by this. It tries to encourage a better understanding and knowledge of these experiences and how instances of support and help have influenced the subject?s life, from childhood through to adulthood. Through 10 qualitative interviews of adult women, all affected by childhood alcohol abuse, the article tries to get a better understanding of how these women coped under these circumstances. The article attempts also to better understand how the women?s experiences of support during childhood have benefited them and how they feel as adults today..

Studien belyser handledning som ett verktyg för att skapa ett lärande både för den individuella ledaren och organisationen som helhet. Ledarrollen i gymnasieskolan gavs ett speciellt fokus. Genom reflekterande samtal med sex personer verksamma som handledare, var syftet att få en fördjupad förståelse av vad det är för ett lärande som äger rum i handledningssituationen och vilka förutsättningar som gynnar lärandet. Den huvudsakliga frågeställningen handlade om hur intervjupersonerna ser på kopplingen mellan det individuella lärandet hos ledarna i handledning och ett lärande som påverkar hela organisationen. Teorier från olika ämnesdiscipliner användes för att närma sig handledning som fenomen och handledning diskuterades även i förhållande till coaching.

Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera jobbrotation utifrån ett lärandeperspektiv. Utifrån en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med narrativ metod har vi tagit del av fem stycken berättelser från medarbetare på AstraZeneca och Polismyndigheten i Skåne. Genom berättelser har vi fått ta del av medarbetares erfarenheter, tankar, åsikter och känslor kring jobbrotation och lärande. Utifrån den bearbetade empirin har vi valt de områden vi funnit intressanta för vidare analys inom området för jobbrotation ur ett lärandeperspektiv. Till empirin har vi ställt följande frågor; Varför jobbrotera? Vad lärs? Vem lär? och För vem lärs?Vårt resultat visar att medarbetarnas inställning och attityd till jobbrotationens syfte och mål styrt de erfarenhter, tankar, åsikter och känslor som delgivits.

The paper is a research of"The Library project", a three-year collaboration project betweenArbetarnas Bildningsforbund, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, Sveriges Författarförbund and public libraries at 14 places in Sweden.The goal of the project is to find new forms for collaboration between libraries, authors and organisations for adult eduacation under the motto "two branches of the same education tree".The purpose of this research is to make a close description of the project and also look at the goals anf purposes of the different actors in the project. The purpose of this paper is to understand why education is a human right. I will look at works by the late Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator. Paulo Freire worked for many years on developing a pedagogy to promote humanity. His goal was to demonstrate that a literate person will ultimately live a better life because she will be free from oppression and domination.I chose to study Paulo Freire as a tool in proving why education is a human right because throughout his work he demonstrated the need for people to be literate in order for them to be considered ?truly human?.

The purpose of my study was to examine how teachers in physical education experience different frame factors impact on their outdoor education and their choice of didactic approach. My study is based on Lundgren´s frame factor theory and Peitersen´s didactic learning model. I have used a qualitative research method to answer my questions. I have been using semi-structured interviews to interview six PE teachers who all teach at high school level.Based on my results we see that the teachers experience teaching hours and class sizes as the frame factors that mainly affect the outdoor education. Teachers often choose to split up the outdoor activities into sequences in order to achieve better learning.

This study sets out to research the effects of perceptions regarding teacher education as well as the teacher profession in general amongst college students studying to become teachers. The aim of the study is to get a better understanding in what perceptions that constitutes the foundation of the aspects that may affect the students of education by interviewing students about how they perceive their education. The study relies on a sociocultural perspective to analyze the data as well as justify the relevance of the study. The method for researching this will consist mainly of interviews and literature studies. Four students of education, where two are Swedish and two are Finnish, will act as the main source of empiric information.

Den 1 januari 2002 bildades myndigheten "Nationellt centrum för flexibelt lärande" i Hässleholm. Myndighetens bildande innebar att flexibelt lärande på allvar etablerades som ett begrepp inom den svenska pedagogiska diskussionen.Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera innebörden av begreppet och undersöka hur begreppet etablerades. Arbetet med att undersöka hur begreppet etablerades ledde till, att mitt val av metod blev en textanalys av ett kapitel ur dokumentet SOU 2000:28 "Kunskapsbygget 2000 det livslånga lärandet" och ett kapitel ur dokumentet Prop. 2000/01:72"Vuxnas lärande och utveckling av vuxenutbildningen".Begreppets innebörd har utvecklats från att ha varit en diskussion gällande e-learning och/eller distansutbildning till en diskussion gällande en vidare innebörd, som innebär att flexibilitet ska relateras till individen och målet ska vara att underlätta för individen att lära och att delta i lärande.Det livslånga och livsvida lärandet innebär ett behov för flexibla utbildningsvägar. Detta innebär att flexibelt lärande troligtvis har kommit för att stanna som begrepp inom den svenska pedagogiska diskussionen..

The aim of my study is to see how teachers in the early primary school are working to teach all their pupils based on how different ethnicities, cultures and multilingual differences reflect on their work places ? the classrooms. I've also contacted the county, were the schools are located in, so I could see what system they are using and how it affects the society.The Swedish society is influenced by different cultures, multilingualism and ethnicities the more time passes, which means that teachers all around need to integrate their pupils in the system so they can better adjust to how the Swedish school system works and be prepared for adult life. Teachers need to concentrate intensely on how they should guide the pupils in their specific class so they can reach their full learning potential and reach the knowledge criteria set by the Swedish school system.I contacted the board of education and to set up a meeting so we could discuss my project. During the meeting I asked the representative how they believe this matter should be handled.

Mellanchefer sitter idag på en position där de är tvungna att förhålla sig till ett stort antal faktorer som påverkar dem i deras arbete. Deras situation passar därför alldeles utmärkt för att undersöka aspekter som har med begreppet handlingsutrymme att göra. Vi har med hjälp av Tetra Pak Dairy & Beverage Systems AB tagit reda på vilka faktorer som påverkar deras mellanchefers handlingsutrymme. Detta gjordes genom att inledningsvis identifiera ett antal övergripande ämnesområden som ansågs påverka handlingsutrymmet i hög grad. Ämnesområdena fick sedan ligga till grund för de kvalitativa intervjuer vi använde oss av för att få in vårt empiriska material.

Patients with heart failure have a high mortality and often readmits to hospital care, due to a lack of compliance in the treatment plan. Patient education on self-care provided by nurses is important in improving patient and clinical outcomes.The aim of this study was to describe effects of nurse led interventions of patient education for elderly patients with heart failure. Literature study based on nine quantitative scientific articles. The results shows that different nurse led interventions of patient education with patients with heart failure had positive effects on self-care management, quality of life, health related quality of life and hospital care. E-mail reminder to community nurses and telephone education shows to be the most effective patient education interventions.

This paper analyses education regarding its profitability from an individual?s perspective. The method for conducting the analysis is an ex ante cost-benefit analysis and the time period examined is between the days the education begins until retirement age. The conclusions of this paper are that tertiary education is not profitable for an individual given the conditions stated in this examination. Furthermore the longer the education lasts, the more unprofitable it is.

Inom Polismyndigheten i Skåne pågår ett Förändra-program, vilket går ut på att medarbetare som av olika skäl vill byta arbete har möjligheten att göra det med stöd i detta program. Deltagarna ska även få en djupare insikt om sina och andras behov och värderingar. Programmet pågår under ett år och innehåller ett flertal internat, med inriktning på individen, ett mentorskap, samt arbete på olika praktikplatser. Vårt syfte är att analysera konsekvenserna av Förändraprogrammet med avseende på individuellt lärande. Vi genomförde semistrukturerade intervjuer med nio personer som deltagit i Förändraprogrammet.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the debate in library journals and in official reports on the subject of library education in Sweden. We focus on two periods: the period just before the year 1972 ? when the library education was transformed into being occupationally-oriented and the period just before the year 1993, when the library education was transformed into being ?academised?. This Master?s thesis shows that the debate and the arguments among initiated people in the library world have had some impact on how the library education was transformed later on.
