The purpose of this paper is to study and describe the occurrence and conditions of aesthetic subjects and choral singing in Swedish upper secondary schools 2014. The paper is based on seven recorded individual interviews with three music teachers, four principals and one director of education in three upper secondary schools in Sweden. The study uses discursive psychology and the interviews were analysed with focus on music teachers and school leaders interpretative repertoires and rhetorical strategies and how they use the language to legitimate aesthetic subjects in an upper secondary school context. In the most recent upper secondary school reform of 2011 the aesthetic subjects are no longer mandatory. Today there are different ways to provide opportunities for the students to participate in music activities but since the government no longer decides how it shall be implemented it is up to the management of each school to determine the activities.The statement made by the informants are interesting in relation to the status of music subjects, but due to the limited scope of the paper, no general conclusions can be drawn.

This is an essay about the political development of Iraq after the overthrow of the Baath regime by the coalition forces in 2003. Almost seven years later, the political scene is still characterised by chaos, even though the country entered a new phase with the Adoption of democratic thinking and a new openness to the world. Open innovation in manufacturing small and medium-sized businesses in Småland.The purpose of the study is that, from a leadership perspective (innovationmanagement), create a better understanding of open innovation in manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises. The study therefore intends to contribute to the understanding of how open innovation processes leads to greater innovation in manufacturing small and medium sized businesses.We have used a qualitative research method and adopted an abductiveapproach. We made interpretations and created meaning based on our research results.Our theoretical framework is based primarily on Chesbroughs (2003) research on open innovation. Based on this model, we have selected a number of other theories, which we perceived as prerequisites for small andmedium sized companies in open innovation processes.

Throughout many years there have been discussions within the European Union (EU) regarding harmonization and improvement of accounting rules for companies with listed shares or other securities. The ambition exists to adopt, the within the union applied accounting standards, to those applied globally. These discussions lead the year 2002 to Adoption by the council and parliament of international accounting standards (IFRS). The ordinance meant that all listed European companies have to adopt international accounting standards, accepted for application within the EU, for their consolidated accounts.During July 2003 the Swedish Government Official Reports issued a report (SOU 2003:71) stating, among other things, the differences and oppositions of implementing IFRS on a corporate level in Sweden, since corporate disclosure is regulated in Swedish law by Bokföringslagen (BFL) and Årsredovisningslagen (ÅRL). I meet in my work as art teacher many students of different descent, were they, or their parents, have different school experience than the Swedish. This, in combination with therecent discussion after the Muhammad caricatures about the banning of images in Islamic religion, made me curious to study what art education in a Muslim country looked like. I went to visit the Maramra Egitim Köyü school in Istanbul, Turkey, and especially their art classesfrom grade five to eight, which are the same age of students that I have been working with thelast ten years. This was my first visit to Turkey.The question I ask is: What does the practice of Turkish art education look like, using the Marmara school as an example. Which discourses can I identify in the art teacher practice? What surprised me the most was the frequent visual exposure of the founder of the Turkishstate, Kemal Atatürk.

Diskussionen kring homosexuellas lämplighet som föräldrar och deras rätt att bilda familj är nu aktuell i samhällsdebatten. Trots att det idag finns lagstiftning som jämställer homosexuellas och heterosexuellas rättigheter att bilda familj genom exempelvis provrörsbefruktning och Adoption finns negativa röster om detta.Syftet med studien var att undersöka attityder hos högstadieungdomar i årskurs 9 vid tre skolor, i frågor om homosexuellas rätt att bilda familj och om det kan vara kopplat till attityder till homosexuella generellt. Dessa attityder studerades i förhållande till könstillhörighet och social klass. Målgruppen valdes utifrån att ungdomar i den åldern ifrågasätter föräldrarnas påverkan och skapar sig egna värderingar. En inblick i detta kan lägga fokus på att även vuxna bör reflektera över sina attityder kring dessa frågor då barn och ungdomar i stor utsträckning påverkas av vuxna.Uppsatsens primärdata har insamlats genom enkätundersökning i kontaktade skolor under vecka 48, 2007.

Today more and more companies are looking out to adopt a new generation intranet, a social intranet where all employees can engage to express themselves and share information. There are large expectations on these new services, which have the opportunity to create high business value if used actively and qualitatively. However, there is a large challenge in knowing how to best implement these services in an organization in order to achieve this. This paper has investigated how an implementation should be made by defining obstacles for the implementation and Adoption, discussing how they could be overcome, investigating what incentives could be used to foster usage and finding common success factors for an implementation.By a qualitative research method, consisting of five case studies and two focus area interviews we found a number of steps that must be followed for an implementation to be successful. First the conditions of the organization must be investigated in order to see whether or not social tools are suitable.

SammanfattningSyftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur några internationellt adopterade förhåller sig till sitt ursprung och sin identitet. Delsyftet är att undersöka om de adopterade intervjupersonernas identitet påverkas av att vara med i en förening för adopterade. Uppsatsens frågeställningar är följande: Hur definierar intervjupersonerna sin etniska tillhörighet? Hur definieras deras etniska tillhörighet av omgivningen? Vilka faktorer har varit viktiga för hur intervjupersonerna förhåller sig till sitt ursprung och sin identitet? Har adopterades föreningar betydelse för intervjupersonernas identitetsformande? Det empiriska materialet består av sex halvstrukturerade intervjuer med fyra kvinnor och två män. Hälften av intervjupersonerna är medlemmar i en förening för adopterade.

Absolute Uterine Factor Infertility (AUFI) inneb?r en avsaknad av livmoder. Livmodertransplantation inneb?r att kvinnor som lider av absolut infertilitet f?r en m?jlighet att motta en livmoder fr?n en donator f?r att kunna b?ra och f?da sina egna barn. Tidigare har det inte funnits n?gra behandlingar mot denna typ av infertilitet och d?rf?r har Adoption eller surrogatmoderskap varit de enda alternativen f?r dessa kvinnor. Livmodertransplantation ?r fortfarande i forskningsstadiet i Sverige men kommer med stor sannolikhet att erbjudas som behandling inom snar framtid.

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has lately gained popularity throughout the globalized world. Swedish retail industry is no exception. Though increased levels of explicitly claimed responsibilities of companies, a number of other facts points out a development that contradicts this trend. Labour conditions and forms of employment is substantially retrograding, with an increased level of insecurity characterizing the Swedish retail labour market. At the same time, almost all Swedish retail companies explicitly state claims on social responsibility.

Bakgrund: I dagens samhälle har varumärken kommit att spela en allt större roll för såväl konsumenter som företag. Varumärken fungerar som en ledsagare i individers sökande efter identitet och samtidigt som en gemensam nämnare eller tillhörighetsfaktor inom olika subkulturer. Företag kan med hjälp av symboliska värden sända ut signaler som stämmer överens med olika individers värderingar och på så sätt attrahera konsumenter och samtidigt ringa in en önskad målgrupp. Dock kan även det motsatta inträffa, det vill säga en annan grupp än den tänkta målgruppen kan komma att adoptera ett företags varumärke och göra detta till en del av gruppens image.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att identifiera och åskådliggöra hur en subkultur kan påverka det symboliska värdet av ett varumärke.Genomförande: För att uppnå syftet har det verkliga fenomenet hip-hopkulturens Adoption av varumärket Adidas valts att empiriskt undersökas. Detta utifrån kvalitativa intervjuer gjorda med respondenter från hip-hopkulturen så som bland andra gruppen Latin Kings och Infinite Mass, tillsammans med personer från företaget Adidas, samt analyschefen på MTV Nordic Networks och radioproducenten Stefan Wermelin.Resultat: Denna undersökning visar bland annat på att en subkultur kan påverka det symboliska värdet på ett varumärke genom att inte enbart ta till sig de symboliska karaktärer varumärket står för, utan även överföra subkulturens värderingar på varumärkets image.
