Prestation vid sönderdelning av GROT med olika typer av maskiner
There is a need for productivities data and data for different types of machines for comminution of logging residues. The lack of data and studies on GROT comminution makes it difficult to evaluate different chains for handling of residue fuels and make system analyses.Four types of machines with three different working principles were compared at six studies during winter conditions. Three to eleven trials during 9.5 to 30.7 minutes were made on each machine. Samples from the produced material at each study were sieved to determine the size distribution of the comminuted material. Samples were also taken from the studies for determination of moisture content.

Kongokrisen FN-insatsen 1960-1964 i analys
Vi har gjort en utvärdering av FN:s insatser i Kongo 1960-1964. Vi har analyseratutifrån en konflikthanteringsmodell som vi har hämtat ur Contemporary ConflictResolution av bland annat Oliver Ramsbotham. I denna modell är peacekeepingoch peace enforcement centrala inslag. Med dessa begrepp åsyftas fredsbevaranderespektive fredsframtvingande åtgärder för att nå fred eller förhindra krig.Resultatet av vår analys är att delar av insatsen var framgångsrik, däriblandpeace enforcement. Långsiktliga åtgärder för fred saknades dock, vilket ledde tillatt våldsamheterna åter tilläts blossa upp när FN lämnade landet.Resultatet av vårt arbete kan användas för att visa på att peace enforcementhar använts och kan vara en framgångsrik metod för FN i framtida situationer..
Den etiska byråkraten - Lojalitet och legitimitet i bemötandet av gömda människor
It is estimated that approximately 10 000 people are living in Sweden after having been rejected residence permit or asylum, meaning that they have to hide from the authorities while facing a risk of being deported by means of violence as they do not wish to leave voluntarily.For their existence, a vast number of people employed by the public administration can be expected to contribute to the wellbeing of the hidden people through their professions as bureaucrats.The bureaucrats can thereby be expected to be torn between different sets of value systems, roles and obligations towards the state and towards the hidden people.In this master thesis, I examine how five bureaucrats motivate their acting for the sake of the hidden people in terms of legitimacy, legality and morality in their administration, towards their ethic responsibilities and towards society as a whole.The results show that the bureaucrats see themselves as saviours of ethical values in an illegitimate administration where economic efficacy and arbitrary decision-making constantly transgresses The Human Rights, ratified by the Swedish Parliament..

The health care is an important part of the welfare services in Sweden. Therefore it is of large interest that it is well performing. A part of this is related to how the health care is organized. This essay examines how the Swedish health care has been organized between 1960 and 1990 and what organizational changes that have been made to the health care. It shows that the Swedish health care has un-dergone many organizational changes the last decades.
Integrationens paradoxer : En intervjustudie av integrationen i praktiken
The purpose of this study is to examine the relations of power within the discourse of integration and my focus will be on power relations and structural discrimination. The study origins from four qualitative interviews with employees from the County administrative board as well as from the Employment office.The theoretical framework is based upon Social Constructionism, Postcolonial Theories and with an intersectional perspective. The recent critical research from The Official Report on power, integration and structural discrimination (Utredningen om makt, integration och strukturell diskriminering) is used as well as Foucault's theory of biopower which is discussed within the analysis.The study indicates that although integration often is addressed as a reciprocal process, it is still assumed that They should be integrated by Us. The aim of this study has been to, through a couple of chosen theories, examine in what way and for what purposes Japan has used its international aid system, How can the nation have been said to have implemented and acted in lines with the philosophies and principles set forth in the ODA declaration. What approaches, concerning positive and negative aid sanctions in the matters of aid to Cambodia and Burma, have been chosen and what have the motives for these choices been. What have been the determining factors of the outcome related to these sanctions - economic, political and/or matters of identity? I have found that a concern for possible decrease in economic profit and investment related areas, combined with a feared loss of political prestige and worsened diplomatic relations to the neighbouring countries in the Asian society, have come to overtrump the notion of advocating democracy, human rights, environmental and anti-militaristic issues..

Behovet av oberoende kontroll har ökat i och med New Public Managements spridning. I Sverige fanns före inrättandet av Riksrevisionen inget nationellt revisionsorgan som levde upp till internationella idéer angående oberoende kontroll. I reformen av kontrollmakten användes och anpassades idéerna till den svenska kontexten. Denna anpassning resulterade i en unik organisering mellan det nya revisionsorganet och riksdagen. En politiskt tillsatt styrelse fick i uppgift att utgöra länk mellan Riksrevisionen och riksdagen.
En Kamp För Fred: Valen i DR Congo 2006 och dess betydelse för en demokratisering
Valen 2006 var de första fria valen i den Demokratiska Republiken Congo sedan självständigheten på 1960-talet. Med valen föddes hopp om ett demokratiskt styre och en fred. Vår uppsats är en fallstudie av Congo utifrån kvalitativ textanalys. Vi försöker besvara frågan om valen har haft någon betydelse för en demokratisering, samt om de har haft någon effekt på ett fredsbyggande. Detta gör vi genom att analysera valen utifrån viktiga demokratiska kriterier, och genom teorier om vilken roll demokratisering kan ha i konfliktlösning.
Jämställdhetens hjältar - en fallstudie av kvinnliga polisers inträde i en mansdominerad organisation
Vårt undersökta problem är brytningen när en kvinna inträder i en mansdominerad organisation och vi har därför valt att studera svensk polis. Syftet är att studera vad som förändras, hur det förändras och de kausala mekanismerna bakom förändringen.Vi har utifrån ett kultur-, och genusperspektiv intervjuat poliser av båda könen för att få en inblick i hur de upplever förändringar inom organisationen som en följd av en ökad andel kvinnor.Studien visar att den manliga normen fortfarande är stark inom kåren, men även att ett mjukare förhållningssätt uppvärderats hos både manliga och kvinnliga poliser. De kausala mekanismerna bakom förändringen visade sig vara flera, men främst visade sig kvinnors blotta närvaro och imitation vara av stor betydelse..
Landsbygdsföretagerskan : en fallstudie om den kvinnliga företagarens livsform på landsbygden
This study is about the female entrepreneur in rural areas in Sweden. Five women were interviewed with the aim to examine their way of living (livsform), their motivation, what significance it is to be a woman in business and how female entrepreneurs can be encouraged to start their own business.
The conclusions :
? The women in this study live an independent life , but the their way of life (livsform) has changed during their life
? Female entrepreneurship can be promoted trough greater knowledge of the female business, better advice to the entrepreneurs, more networking groups and reducing bureaucracy.
? The driving forces for the women is to do what they like and are interested in, at the same time as they have time for the family and children. They also like to work in the rural areas.
? Female entrepreneurship can be promoted through greater knowledge of female businesses in the community, by creating virtual meeting places such as networking groups and mentor groups on internet.
Att missa målet - en studie av kommunal målstyrning ur ett demokratiperspektiv
The aim of this study is to illuminate and discuss a case of political steering, specifically Managment-By-Objectives (MBO) in Swedish municipalities, from a democratic perspective. The essay examines a discrepancy between MBO in the Swedish municipalities and democratic theory.To fulfil the aim of the study one leading politician and one leading civil servant from five municipalities have been interviewed on this matter. This material is discussed in the light of a democratic theory constructed specifically for this essay. The democratic theory consists of three main democratic values in the democratic process: debate, transparence and the ability to demand political accountability.The main conclusion is that there is a contradiction in the use of MBO and the democratic values of debate, transparence and the ability to demand political accountability. MBO has resulted in a lack of debate and transparency and furthermore, it has made it increasingly more difficult to demand political accountability..
Frequency of unsuccessful milkings in automatic milking rotary : effect on milk yield, lactose content and somatic cell count at udder quarter level
Developments in milk production are heading towards fewer but larger herds where the milking process is often fully automated. Automatic milking systems were launched in the 1990?s and in the year 2010 the Automatic Milking Rotary (AMR) was introduced. As a rule there are no supervision personnel present during the milking event in systems with automatic milking. This means that there is a risk that cows can be incompletely milked in one or more udder quarters, for example if the robots fail in attaching the milking cups or if the cow kicks off the milking unit.
Den svenska nationella strategin för hållbar utveckling : En process av betydelse eller bara ett anonymt dokument?
AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.
Den moderna verksamhetschefen
Verksamhetschefsreformen har inneburit en förändring inom svensk sjukvård. Uppgifter som tidigare låg högre upp i organisationen har nu flyttats ner och lagts på verksamhetschefen. Med utgångspunkt i Universitetssjukhuset i Lund beskrivs dels mer utförligt de strikt formella förväntningar, mål och regler som finns kring utformningen av verksamhetschefspositionen, dels de mer informella förväntningar och mål som finns på olika nivåer i hierarkin. En slutsats är att sjukhusledningens idéer i vissa avseenden står i kontrast till de normer och idéer som fortfarande lever kvar på lägre nivåer i organisationen.Två organisationsteoretiska perspektiv har använts för att tolka det förändringsarbete som reformen har inneburit. Som resultat av denna tolkning har slutsatsen att båda perspektiven inte för sig är kapabla att ge en fullständig bild av reformen nåtts, men att de tillsammans förmår ge en mer komplett beskrivning..
